A great place to get away. The boys enjoyed being able to walk right down to the river to go trout fishing. I enjoyed sitting on the back porch reading a book. The weather was not as nice as what we would have liked but plenty of board games to keep everyone busy and off their phones. Hearing the rain on the tin roof porch was so peaceful. Look forward to try to come back and stay in the place closer to the river they have just built. This was a quick trip, we did not even try the hot tub!

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! It was so cozy and relaxing. We loved having the creek out back. The location was great and it was so nice being such a close walk to Grandfather Mountain Vineyard with live music and beautiful mountain views! Aubri was very quick to respond and was an excellent host!

Perfect house for a friends weekend away! The house is beautiful, and in a great location. Nancy was super responsive when the air conditioning wasn’t working for us, and had it fixed right away. Would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend this rental to anyone.

This is my family’s second year staying at John’s place, and our 6th year staying at a house along Elk Creek. We love this location outside of Boone, swimming in the stream, fishing, catching fireflies, relaxing and reconnecting as a family. We appreciate the spaciousness of John’s property and the long stream frontage, and the bonus hike up to the waterfall that gives one extra thing to do and a way to stretch our legs. The house plenty comfortable for our family of five. We definitely plan to return in the future!

we completely enjoyed ourself at Kendall's red tin roof cabin. it's close to Banner Elk it's close to beautiful golf courses and we went to some waterfall swimming holes everything was close the view was fantastic and we will be back again

This is a great pet-friendly getaway cabin, about 15 minutes outside Boone. Property was as-described, and the hosts were very helpful and responsive. The property was clean, and perfect for our needs. We are looking forward to visiting again!

What an ADORABLE cabin perfectly located near Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock! So much to do near by and the most adorable cabin to return to afterwards. Soaking tub and hot tub are so nice after a long hike. The furniture is clean and well maintained. Nicely, stocked kitchen and the hosts left thoughtful gifts too! Would book again due to accuracy of description and how nice hosts are. Don’t hesitate if you’re considering this. It’s great!

Our stay at these beautiful cabins was nothing short of amazing! The location is perfect—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by absolutely pristine mountain views that are simply breathtaking. Photos don’t do it justice; the views are truly irreplaceable. The cabins themselves were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, offering a perfect retreat for rest and relaxation. The host was incredibly nice and very responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. This is the kind of place you want to return to again and again. I would definitely come back with my family in the future—highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature with all the comforts of home!

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Richard is an excellent host who obviously wants his guests to have the best stay possible. Our personal favorites were the outdoor areas. The surrounding are so beautiful and peacful, and Richard's home provides a gazebo, porch with sofa, fire pit, and deck dining which we loved. If you want a cozy cabin in the mountains, Richard's place is for you!

This cabin was perfect and exactly what we needed for a great weekend. Just close enough to all activities and just far enough away that you don't feel like you are in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Cabin was well equipped with all that you would need if you stayed in to prepare meals. A huge bonus for us is that Jose's cabin is pet friendly. We will definitely be back.

Tom is very responsive. Answered all of our questions and replied promptly. There was a large group of us visiting for our granddaughter's graduation from App State. We had a great time playing pool , corn hole, and board games. Kitchen was well equipped to prepare our food for the party. The sleeping accommodations were all very comfortable. Three full baths was so great to have with our group. The setting was beautiful, serene and private. Would definitely stay there again.

Such a cute and cozy cabin perched on the side of a mountain! We visited during a rainy spell and spent a lot of time indoors, listening to the rain on the roof and enjoying the super comfy reclining sofa. We had one dry evening to spend down by the fire pit; we brought our own firewood but there were a few partial stacks left behind by previous guests as well. (The bucket to drown the fire was rusted out, so you might need to carry a big plastic bowl down from the kitchen for that.) The rain had also partially washed out the steeper sections of Longhope Rd between 194 and the cabin, so it was challenging (but doable) in our 2WD car. I'd recommend driving in from the Meat Camp Rd direction instead. The cabin was very clean, stocked with plenty of towels, and it was nice having a washer/dryer available. We did go out after the first night and buy ourselves some new pillows because the cabin ones were pretty flat! Overall a beautiful and peaceful spot and I definitely recommend it.

It was a wonderful place for my family to stay. Very comfortable, loved seeing the kids play in the creek and hearing it at night, and when we had an issue Martian got back to us very fast on a solution. We would definitely love to stay there again.

Christopher was great! He was very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. We’d absolutely consider staying there again if we decide to travel to the Boone area.

Carolyn is a great host, she is respond promptly to inquiries and she even provided many tips about how to enjoy the surrounding areas. The cabin is beautiful in a very peaceful and serene place. We especially enjoyed the back porch and the creek that flows next to it. We also enjoyed the board games provided by the host. We went hiking and there are very pretty trails around particularly near Boone which is only 20 minutes away! I definitely give this cabin 2 thumbs up!

We absolutely LOVED the Hideaway! It was the perfect escape for our 7th Anniversary! Everything was clean and looked just like the pictures. Brandi and Justin have done a beautiful job thinking of all the details. We cooked dinner on Saturday night and had all the utensils and pans we needed. This is the perfect quiet cabin for anyone who is in need of a restful weekend away. I was hesitant about no air conditioning at first, but it worked out well with the windows open and the fans going. There was plenty of circulation throughout the home. In the morning we enjoyed waking up to the birds chirping. We will definitely be planning a trip back! Thank you Brandi for everything!

The perfect spot to stay for our family of 3. Did a college tour at App State, hiking, explored several areas nearby. The cabin had everything we needed, easy to find, and Kirbi's instructions were easy and straightforward. A gem of a find!

The house was fantastic. It was perfect my family, including my mother and two young kids (Ages 3 & 5). The patio was exactly what I wanted, a view of the mountains, peaceful mornings with coffee. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedding was super clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again! I also loved that otter. Falls was so close to the house, the family went hiking one day. And grandfather vineyard was also very convenient another great plus for the kids with the river and rocks to play in.

We absolutely loved staying here!! The views into the woods were phenomenal and the deck feels very private. The interior is very cozy and the aesthetic is gorgeous. I took a bath and the tub was perfect - there are even epsom salts and mineral oils at both tubs. The driveway is fairly steep, but there was enough room at the top of the driveway to park our Prius V. The steps inside are also a bit steep, but if you have someone in your group who isn't comfortable with them, there's a bedroom and full bath on the main level so no need to go upstairs at all. We found the steps to be really fun! We slept in the upstairs bedroom, and if you leave the curtains open, you'll wake up to a beautiful sunrise through the trees. We didn't try out the wood stove since the weather was so warm during our visit, but I imagine it's wonderful to use in the winter. The host is very kind and responsive. If you're looking for a cozy getaway, I highly recommend this place!! :)

This cabin was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a long weekend trip. Rina was very responsive to questions and was flexible with check-in time as we were traveling across the state. The amenities were great and we made use of the outdoor grill, dining space as well as the fire pit. Thanks for a wonderful experience in our first Air B&B!

Truly Bearadise! An Unforgettable Mountain Escape Our stay at "It's Bearadise!" was phenomenal, exceeding expectations! The breathtaking panoramic views from the cabin and the mountain-facing hot tub were truly captivating. The cabin itself is incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt like home. We loved the stone fireplaces, the outdoor fire pit (firewood provided!), and the game room which offered endless entertainment and family battles. Erin is an exceptional Superhost; communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The cabin was spotlessly clean. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The location, while private, is conveniently close to Blowing Rock where we enjoyed various outdoor activities. "It's Bearadise!" is a meticulously cared-for sanctuary offering the perfect blend of relaxation, fun, and natural beauty. We made cherished memories and highly recommend.

It was the perfect place for our family of 5 to celebrate my Husband for Father’s Day! Our host was helpful and always quick to respond. The cabin was cozy and the views were endless… loved how close it was to Boone.
