If you are looking for a perfect getaway around Boone this is the perfect spot. Lance is an incredible host, he fired up the sauna and the hot tub for us multiple times. The pond with the rock was a beautiful backdrop for our stay, def will be back in the summertime when we can swim. Love this place and will most definitely come back.

Our group (two couples) had a wonderful time at Nicole’s condo. We have stayed at a few other places at Chetola Resort. Nicole’s place was the best. The inside was spotless and had many added amenities that went above what was expected. It’s a corner unit with a nice view of the pond. The condo is located in a prime location for exploring Blowing Rock. It’s an easy walk into Town, the mall, and Cone Manor Park. Overall, a great value!

We had a wonderful stay at Brian’s cabin! It is so perfectly appointed with everything you’d need. It looks just like the pictures, was very clean, and the location was perfect (a short drive into town). The views are everything!! Brian was super helpful and responded very quickly when we had an issue with the tv. We would love to visit again soon!

Great mountain vacation home! Proximity to Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk attractions couldn't be better. The home is very comfortable and has everything you would ever need. Kids loved the bunk room, ping pong table and playing in the creek. JD was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. Definitely hope to come back next year!

Our family loved our stay. The place is incredible with so much to do and see. They really put a ton of care and detail into everything. We can't wait to come back and recommend this place to anyone! A very special gem.

We had the most amazing time at this home. The hosts were so incredible and friendly and responsive. The house is beautiful, inside and out! Loved the basement area, all of the bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The scenery by the lake is gorgeous and so peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit, the jacuzzi, walking around and rocking on the porch. We would make this a regular airbnb go to every time. Thank you for everything!!

This cabin is just as described in the listing. The hot tub was such an added bonus to a mountain getaway! Connie was so responsive and has thought of everything to clearly communicate and be proactive for any questions you may have. This cabin is right between Boone and West Jefferson so lots of options or just hanging out at the house! The only advice I would give next guests would be to pick up paper products to minimize doing too many dishes because there is no dishwasher. Overall fantastic little getaway and I would book again! Thanks Connie for always being available for any questions.

We enjoyed our stay! Cabin is only about :20 from downtown west Jefferson and even closer to the beautiful old barn winery. The surroundings are gorgeous and the pond is very relaxing. Access to the new river is right at the entrance to the community. Wood burning fireplace was perfect for cold evenings! Host is great! Very responsive and even approved an early check in which we greatly appreciated, especially since we had our pups with us!

This was easily one of my most favorite vacations of all time. The tranquility and the peace that Nancy is beautiful property provided will be a memory that I will always cherish with my kids. Outside of the property, we were fortunate enough to take a pottery lesson with her and my daughter mentioned several times to me how this was one of her favorites experiences with me. In addition, they were kind enough to share an opportunity to hike down to their private land in the gorge gorge for a peaceful and fun Saturday afternoon. What an adventure it was and well worth it. overall, we will definitely be looking at coming back and absolutely be sharing this magical place with friends and family.

This cabin was exactly what our family was looking for. We were a little surprised there were other cabins so close, as it seems to be more isolated in the listing, but the area was perfect, the neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen is more equipped than any rental we’ve ever stayed in. Giovanni was extremely responsive prior to checkin, and left us an abundance of firewood as we requested. I definitely recommend booking Abruzzi Cabin!

Wonderful area and very nice home. Beautiful view of the frozen lake in the winter that may be blocked in the summer. The house stayed very warm. Caution to some, if it snows there is a chance you can get left off the mountain. This is nothing against the home, but prepare for this so it does not ruin your stay.

Wonderful!!! I loved everything all around. The area was beautiful and you'll get beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Everything was perfect. Just be mindful of the driveway. It can be hard to get in and out of especially if you don't have four wheel drive

Cabin is perched high on the mountain side with views of a beautiful lake. Well stocked. Proactive and responsive host. We saw deer and Cardinals from the porch. Steep gravel drive may be an issue with ice. May need 4x4 or just park at the bottom of the drive. Lots of steps from driveway to front porch. Laundry room is outside. Good wifi internet, but no cell service due to the rural location.

Truly beautiful home, was a perfect stay for me and my 4 and 5 year old, kids games and dinnerware were such a bonus, and the upstairs bedroom was perfect for multiple sleeping options. Access to the lodge/heated pool came in really handy for my water obsessed littles. Location is perfect, really quiet in the home itself but easy access to lodge activities, walk around the resort, good running options in the neighborhood too. Quick rides to Grandfather mountain, Tweetsie, and low key hikes. Perfect balance of privacy/quiet and convenience!

What makes this place amazing is Walton himself and the amenities he offers. I stayed with a friend and our 4 boys had the most memorable experience. They helped care for the animals, helped him with chores that were fun and truly made them feel useful and not at all a bother. We booked a horse ride and he helped with the lead lines and gave us a narration of his property and all he has done to it. His love for his land and surroundings is evident. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you, Walton, for the beautiful memories.

Great place to stay, spacious and comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the outdoor space. Beds and bedding were super comfy. Kitchen crockery and utensils well stocked. Super walks set within the community. We had a lovely time!

Great location, close to Sugar Mountain, where I took my 14-year-old son and his friends skiing for the weekend. They loved the arcade games and pool table. The view from the hot tub was so peaceful. It had everything we needed.

There were 5 of us staying here for a couple nights to go to beech mountain and it was exactly what we needed! Very clean and cozy house 10 minutes from the slopes. Randall was a great host I definitely recommend! *there is a VERY steep driveway so if it’s snowing be aware that you’ll be parking down on the street and walking up the driveway, I’d also recommend 4 wheel drive! But we expected this and it wasn’t too bad as long as you are able to climb up and down. Not very handicap accessible

A great location with almost immediate access to skiing and hiking trails! We didn’t use the amenities while there but did see many families enjoying them. A 15 minute ride to Boone and all that area offers was a plus. This was a quiet, corner location with a soothing view of a pond on the grounds out all of the windows. A good sized space to wind down after a full day of adventures!

It's a really charming, comfortable, clean, and quiet place. It has the best kitchen equipment of any place I've stayed: a large set of dish- and glassware, pots and pans, plush towels, comfortable bed. The host communicated well and quickly. I would definitely return.
