Richard and Martha's place was very relaxing. It was nice seeing all the deer on the way in and stopping by the visitors center at the park to see the water. We will be back again.

Mindy and Charlotte were amazing! Due to another booking/listing issue, we had to rebook, found this listing, and booked last-minute in the evening of the day we wanted to check-in. They responded almost immediately, confirmed our reservation, and we were inside within 30 minutes. The house is beautiful, with a gorgeous view! It's a 3 minute walk to the slopes, which was perfect for a lunch and relax during the 1.5hours on a twilight lift pass. Highly recommend for your Sugar Mountain stay!

The townhome was very spacious. It was fully equipped with everything you may need in a kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Greay cozy little spot felt right and home and relaxed. Perfect distance from beech mintain as well literally 2 mins away and made the stay that much better. Parking may be slightly tight for bigger vehicles is all.

We came to sugar mountain for the first time on a holiday weekend and our stay did not disappoint! Kristi’s condo is extremely convenient and a short walk from the ticketing area. Alternatively, you could drive to the parking lot and take the bus to be dropped off right in front of the main area. Kristi was extremely responsive and an incredible host. We had everything we could ask for in the kitchen and living room area. The king bed in the primary was comfortable and the sofa bed and loft beds were cozy. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels available. It was nice to have a washer and drier in unit so that we could dry our gear each night. This place is great for a cozy, low key weekend!

A beautiful home. We enjoyed our time with family as we celebrated our daughter’s graduation from App State University. There is so much space, it is hard to believe it is a townhome! The home was spotless from top to bottom!

We had the best time in this adorable house! Beautifully decorated and the perfect space for our trip. The bonus was the closet in one of the downstairs bathrooms so that our toddler could sleep in a separate space. We loved having access to the indoor pool.

We enjoyed our stay! The condo was nicely furnished and decorated. It was cozy and had plenty of room for our family of 5. We especially loved that it had 3 full bathrooms & a washer/dryer for our wet ski clothes. It was an easy walk to the nearest ski slope. The nearest slope closed at 5pm (in December), but we enjoyed using the sleds provided (in the the outdoor closet) to sled & play on the slope after 5. It was a fun added bonus!

The Getaway felt brand new and only a minute walk to restaurants and shops in Blowing Rock. The place was super clean and had everything we needed. Hope to be back soon!

We had a great time in Banner Elk! The views from this place are amazing, and there is tons to do within an hour drive of the location. We felt right at home and were super comfortable

We loved our stay here! You cannot be any closer to walk around the town and you get an amazing view from the balcony of the mountains. The place was clean and the hosts give you all the information you will need and more. We will definitely be back😊

We had an amazing stay. The property is in a convenient location and is exactly as described. There were no surprises or problems when we arrived, and the house was very clean (with enough bedding/pillows, towels, throw blankets, and basic supplies like soap). Janet had clear instructions about how to use features of the home, and she gave lots of great area recommendations. She even went above and beyond for us twice. Before checking in, she was gracious about answering questions I had about our elderly dog. Then, at the end of our stay, she approved a late check out the day we left. On the check out day, she quickly responded to my messages when it started to finally snow (instead of rain). By checking her messages quickly and by the kindness of her heart, Janet let us stay a little later to allow the kids to play in the snow before we left. Janet didn’t know that I have stage 4 cancer and how important small moments are to me now, but she made that snow day possible for us.
