Beautiful home and awesome host! Was very responsive and was flexible with check-in/check-out. Went above and beyond. The property is very eclectic, clean, and homey. You can walk to various restaurants (we loved Snallygasters!) beautiful area, home is on a dead end street so very private. Would definitely stay here again! :)

My family of five had a wonderful visit at Amy’s guesthouse. The location is amazing - centrally located in charming, historic Shepherdstown, yet still quiet, secluded, and private. Easy to walk to restaurants, a lovely book store, several eclectic shops, and a great record store. The guesthouse itself is comfortable, capacious, and well appointed. Plenty of room for our family, quality furnishings, and perhaps most importantly, it immediately felt like home. We would recommend highly. Thank you, Amy, for a superlative Airbnb experience!

Jacqueline and Nate were more than accommodating during our spring getaway. We encountered a flat tire traversing the WV mountains and needed to stay another night to have it fixed. Jacqueline was quick to respond and was able to grant us another night, which maybe we just truly needed :) would recommend place to any families with small children. Absolutely beautiful !

We loved Claudine’s home. We live in an old home ourselves and know that old homes are such a labor of love and it’s obvious Claudine takes great pride in her home. Claudine was an excellent host, she also provided us with updates as a big storm was coming in. The home was very close to the historical district, and Shepherd University. There was a lot of space for our family to spread out in. We will definitely be back. Thank you Claudine!

Very clean apartment for a family of 4 to explore the area. We loved being able to walk to restaurants, cafes, main street, and river. Short drive to C & O canal for biking.

What a cute and cozy guest suite! It was perfect for a weekend away. Very clean and comfortable. Nancy was responsive to my questions and gave recommendations for the area. Was a great location for me, as it was halfway between Frederick and Harper’s Ferry where I was meeting up with friends. Will definitely be staying here again!

My husband and I were very pleased with our lodging. The photos and description were accurate. The rooms were very clean and even though it was still cold out, the heating inside was perfect. We loved how quiet the area was. Out side at night you could hear the proverbial "pin drop". We were within walking distance to all attractions. I would absolutely stay at this location again.

This was my first time booking at an Airbnb and I had a great first experience. My host was always responsive. Place was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable place to sleep while visiting my hometown. It was peaceful and a great location. There is literally no better location! Stepping off the train and walking not even two minutes to our stay greatly improved our experience. Restaurants, shops, and trailheads all within easy walking distance. The apartment is as advertised. It’s very clean, with plenty of space, and the kitchen supplies were more than adequate. Bed is comfortable with extra blankets and pillows if needed. The hosts are fantastic, and always respond quickly. It’s an old house, well-maintained, but is not entirely sound proof. We would gladly stay again!

Lesley is a great host who gave us clear instructions for getting in and parking which was very helpful. The area is really neat. This is a fun, convenient, and clean stay to experience Martinsburg and the surrounding areas. She even gladly helped us re-book when we last minute decided to stay longer to check out Harper’s Ferry! With all the help and local recommendations we would absolutely recommend.

The space was very nice and full of light but also private. Very clean. Vi and her husband were great hosts and very responsive and friendly.

(For younger people that care), beware that they live upstairs from where you will be staying!!! We (kinda of) loudly played music in the living room, were able to walk 50 feet to the gazebo (located in the yard) to smoke, and laughed loudly all night. We were worried we’d have to be super quiet and they would be strict but, the owners had no complaints which we were very greatful for, didn’t interrupt us, got our money’s worth and had a great night!

The apartment was excellent. Easy street parking right in front of the apartment complex. Very clean , fully equipped , exactly what we needed for a last minute trip and booking.

We really enjoyed the stay. Fun playing pool and watching vintage dvd— Beauty and the Beast. The museum was interesting. The lights in museum room were cool. Place had character. Would stay again.

Taylor provides a great spot for the region. Close to Harper's Ferry with all its hiking & Antietam for the history buffs, this provided the perfect respite for our small family. We really appreciated Taylor providing high quality cookware and dishes. Many times hosts cheap out on that stuff but Taylor had great stuff - even a pod and drip coffee combo! Private and roomy, we found everything to be as advertised and then some. Taylor was always quick to respond to our queries and provided good advice on local attractions. We enjoyed our time there and highly recommend her place if one is in the area.

Very pleasant experience

This AirBnb hosted by Julie was perfect! The space was just what we needed as a little home base as we explored Harper’s Ferry and the surrounding area. Julie provided great recommendations in terms of places to eat. Would love to go back!

We enjoyed our stay at The Franklin. The place was fresh, clean and had both handicapped & regular parking right outside our door. There are restaurants and a brewery within walking distance as well as The Maryland Theatre. We felt at home and will revisit in the future. Kudos to the owner!
