Cottage vacation rentals in Verde River

My family and I stayed in the gorgeous cabin for Easter. We had a TON of unexpected snow and it was beautiful! Sitting in the spotless hot tub surrounded by snow is *chefs kiss*. Carissa was a fantastic host; super proactive/communicative and provides everything you could need for a weekend away in the pines! The game room phenomenal and came in clutch while being snowed in. We will definitely be staying here again, with one of our kiddos on the way to NAU! ❤️❄️

I would recommend this home for everyone if you’d love a beautiful getaway. Walking distance to some nice trails and very peaceful and quiet.

I was looking for a peaceful place with a hot tub to relax on a long roadtrip, and this cabin did not disappoint! I LOVED the backyard. It’s obviously built to accommodate a handful of people but I booked it as a solo traveler and it was a perfect little paradise. Very cozy, very cute, very relaxing. I will likely stay here again when passing through.

It was a great, quiet place to get away! Wendy was very helpful and even upgraded us free of charge. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for something private and peaceful.

Cabin was in excellent condition and exceptionally clean. For a cabin, it was spacious and the furniture complimented the space very well. The only issue, that wasn’t really an issue per se was that the upstairs sleeping area was a little warm despite having two AC units in the cabin. However, it was not so warm that made it uncomfortable to sleep in. As far as the amenities/activities made available to the guests were great. There’s things for kids and adults to enjoy. Would highly recommend.

This Airbnb was comfortable and convenient. Good mattresses and lots of amenities. The hosts were very responsive too. We are not very tech savvy but they answered our questions almost immediately. Highly appreciated!

We had a lovely stay at WillowPoint Creek Casita . The setting was peaceful and scenic, with easy access to trails, town, and nature. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, grill, and the pool—even though it was too cold to swim. The dirt road leading into the property, including a couple of creek crossings, made getting there feel like a fun little adventure. The house was well-equipped with all the kitchen essentials, and the hosts were responsive and welcoming, even providing a helpful local guide. We loved the quiet nights, clear skies, and the chance to truly unwind. Do be prepared for spotty cell service and slow internet—but honestly, that was part of the charm. It gave us a chance to disconnect and be reminded of the pace of everyday life. The only downsides were that the house could use a deeper clean, and the front gate was broken during our stay, which gave us some safety concerns. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it for anyone looking for a getaway!

Sylvia’s property was super clean and had the necessities in stock. Her attention to detail in decor with providing detailed instructions for usage of the amenities and quick responses to questions also made for a pleasant stay! This property was very peaceful, secluded from the city noise, and did I mention clean?! The property takes awhile to drive to from Payson so make sure you plan accordingly and have some patience. Lol But Once you get there the stress of daily noise just goes away. Thank you for a clean property, having tons of coffee pods stocked, books, firewood, and for providing an overall peaceful vibe Sylvia! You’re a great host! X

Property was as described with plenty of room for 2 adults and our dog. Patio was nice for the dog to relax during the day. The street was very busy, but the noise wasn't noticeable because the cottage is in the back. Grocery store and Wendy's is within walking distance and downtown Prescott is a quick, easy drive. Definitely a good value for the money.

Brians place was perfection located just outide Sedona. Very picturesque! We felt right at home here. The kitchen was great ! Plenty of room to spread out. And Brian has everything you need to cook. One thing I would recommend is to have some cleaning products under the sink to be able to clean before and after. The yoga mats were a nice touch and we really enjoyed the record player too!

The Quail Cottage was the perfect location for the various areas we planned to visit. This is a well-styled, incredibly clean space that is cozy and had everything we needed. We especially loved the game room!

The house was beautiful and Mad was a great host! We were close to several locations so we were always busy!

SOTH is an absolutely stunning find. It's just 10' from Sedona, far enough off the highway to be convenient, but sooo quiet. The grounds are stunning. The river noise is lovely. The trails and views are stunning. This is a beautiful, peaceful stay. My kids and I had the best time exploring and then chilling on our porch and in the living room when indoors. We also took short trips to go horseback riding and mountain biking. Everything is right here! Yet, you've escaped the hustle and bustle and crowds.

My husband and I loved staying here. Pam’s cottage is enchanting and gorgeous and peaceful. So sorry to leave but we will stay here again in the Fall. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Pam truly is a super host and we were blessed.

Chelsea’s place is absolutely adorable. In addition to being a very safe, efficient, and comfortable space, it is filled with artistic and creative touches that make it very homey and fun. You’ll discover something new at every turn! Bring your own bar soap, shampoo, and Kleenex but Chelsea provides everything else you need. Not as walkable as we typically like, but restaurants and shopping are just a short drive away, as well as fabulous hiking trails. Chelsea is very proactive in her communication and had a binder filled with fabulous recommendations. We took several and were not disappointed. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. I was a bit surprised to find that the home was located in a mobile & manufactured home park, but it really ended up being such a great location. So close to a great many trails and right next to the creek and also very quiet and peaceful. We would rent here again!

What a magical little Phoenix gem! We so enjoyed at our stay at this quaint little cottage. The ambience is unmatched and the price is unbeatable! We hope to stay here again very soon.

Great place to stay in Sedona with lots of shopping within walking distance! Beautiful short hike right across the street with one of the best views in all of Sedona. Awesome other hikes within a short 10 minute drive. Clean space with all the necessary amenities made staying here absolutely worth it!

We had a very enjoyable experience here! Cute, comfy and organized. So well done! I was concerned at first about hot plates and no oven but it worked out perfectly and we cooked every night! Had all we needed right down to a steamer basket! Thanks for everything!

Lisa’s guest house was such a wonderful experience. With a private hiking trail as well as all the wildlife you can see. We saw quail, blue jays, coyotes, and of course the javelina! Lisa left water bottles and apples as well! They were super great communicators leaving us guidebooks, hiking trails, restaurants and Activities in Sedona. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

This is a great location for getting to downtown! The furniture was all very comfortable and the decor was very nice. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The host responded quickly to a problem we had with the washing machine…there is a common wall with the unit next to this one and we did hear the neighbors but the area is very quiet. Our stay in Sedona was brief but this house made our stay amazing. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. All of the furniture was comfortable to relax on. This home was one of the cleanest ones that we have ever stayed in. The view was spectacular as well. We did not have the opportunity to hike the trails near by but they looked like they would be great. West Sedona is quiet and away from the noise and road congestion. I would recommend this home to everyone.
