Monthly Rentals in Velarde

Stunningly Beautiful. The pictures don't include the sound of the creek rumbling at your feet, as you find yourself staring at the endless night sky. I'll never forget it. The location and cabin are absolutely perfect. This cottage has ceiling fans, which are a bonus for those of us who live in different climates. IYKYK Kris and Cedric had anticipated and thought of every need we may have had. Kitchen and cooking extras, linens, extra batteries for the tv remote, and most importantly... personalized recommendations of every good restaurant, hiking trail, and activity in the area. Our family of four is looking forward to returning soon!

Our family of four stayed in Mary's casita for a long weekend, in order to explore Santa Fe & Taos. The location was perfectly nestled in between, and we loved the privacy and country feel of the casita, as opposed to staying in a more generic hotel in the city. Mary's location is peaceful, and perfect if you want to disconnect and just have some quality quiet time with the people you love. The views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains was also spectacular to wake up to each morning -- we would stay at the casita again just to watch the sunrise! We could not have asked for a warmer, more thoughtful host, nor for a more charming place to stay. We would love to stay again, next time in Santa Fe. Thanks, Mary!

Had a great time at Jean’s comfy lil getaway while we were in the mountains. She was very accomodating.

This was the perfect overnight stay, coupled with a day in Taos and day of soaking at Ojo Caliente! Much less expensive than staying on site at Ojo, but only five miles up the road, so super-convenient. Tucked away, quiet, very spacious... I will definitely plan on staying here again!
