This is a primary home, with all of the amenities of such a home. 5 miles outside of Center City & walking distance from a train station, this quiet and safe neighborhood is perfect for Philly events or nature getaways. All within walking: River trail, state park trails, Main Street Manayunk (shops, restaurants, and bars/pubs), train station, bike rentals, playgrounds, movie theater, and more. A truly exceptional stay! The Elegant Chateau in Philadelphia was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need (even things you wouldn’t think of!). It’s the perfect space for entertaining while still allowing for privacy and comfort. One of the highlights for me was knowing it’s Black-owned, which made supporting this stay even more meaningful. I was proud to host family here. Whether you’re visiting during warm or cold months, the property is ready—swimming and grilling in the summer, cozy and well-equipped in cooler weather. The host was incredibly responsive and made everything seamless from start to finish. Only word of advice: keep your trash secured—there are some bold raccoons who like to make evening appearances, but they didn’t take away from an otherwise perfect experience. I’ve already recommended this gem to others and will definitely be returning myself. Highly recommend!

4-Bedroom Garden Oasis – Tranquil Philly Retreat

Gardith was an amazing host. From the moment we booked her home she answered all of our questions. We never had any issues finding parking and we had two large suv's. The house was beautiful. Each room had television and air conditioning. There was a heat wave during our visit and the home was nice and cool. My kids accidentally locked the bedroom door and Gardith was able to send a handy man over to unlock the door while we were out. She even sent my guys two cases of water after learning that they were track and field athletes competing at nationals. My assistant coach used the hot tub and seemed to enjoy it. The property is beautiful and the neighborhood is quite and safe. Close to University of Pennsylvania. Only 7miles. With Philly traffic, that could be 15min - 30min. Nonetheless, it is worth staying here. We loved this property and felt at home. She truly took care of all details for a comfortable stay. Will definitely book again if we are back in Philadelphia.
