Vacation rentals with a fireplace in University City, Philadelphia

We absolutely loved our stay at Leonard’s place and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was amazing for exploring by foot, or we could pick up Ride Indigo bikes from round the corner. Parking was sincerely appreciated, we fitted a RAV 4 in the space with no issues. Would stay again and recommend to others.

My gang of friends agreed we’d happily come back here again - lovely setting & big driveway for parking; comfy bedrooms and generous number of bathrooms; well-equipped kitchen compared to most rentals; pleasant but unobtrusive decor; and short, clear host instructions. And it was so warm for December that we even got to hang out on the patio, also comfy & welcoming. I think the only things (and they were very minor) that we’d recommend adding would be conventional potholders, a few more sets of silverware, a couple more DR chairs, and a reminder sign about the step down from the kitchen into the DR. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay! Very spacious place and we love the neighborhood. There are sooo many stairs so keep in mind if you have little ones with you. Beds were comfortable and the two outdoor spaces were great.

Janet and Drew have a wonderful place in the heart of Philly! If you are a cheesesteak lover Gino’s and Pats are both walking distance and can satisfy your cravings! The house overall was wonderful and had such a great at home feeling. There was ample space, and the private third floor with connected bedroom and bathroom was a major plus! My group and I were comfortable all through the home and were able to easily enjoy our stay in Philadelphia

We highly recommend this amazingly appointed space, located in a lovely neighborhood, very special and private, the perfect location for exploring all that Philly has to offer. We loved coming home to this house at the end of a busy day. We all wished we had more time to just sit around and enjoy the house!

Cory’s place was better than even expected - beautiful, immaculate, quiet and huge! Cory was also so friendly and easy to coordinate with!

Rob was a fantastic host and his place was perfect for our Christmas vacation. The space was clean, well laid out and furnished. We were able to host a brunch while also feeling cozy when on our own. Rob was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend!

My home away from home. I am from Philly and it is hard finding a great place to stay! I loved Marc's place and I did not want to leave. Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood. The airbnb was a great stay and very clean! Will book again next time I come and visit. I loved it here!!!!!

Beautiful decor. Very clean, peaceful neighbourhood and close to the train and buses. J was very helpful and communicative throughout. Really lovely touches, and lots of condiments. It felt like home!

I enjoyed my stay very much! The room was clean, the neighborhood was quiet like told and really convenient with stores. The TVs were lovely, Kameron and I believe Kayla both did their best to accommodate any needs (although there weren’t any) and responded within the time displayed. I would recommend this place!

We were very comfortable and appreciated how open, clean, and easy the space was. Nachman was very easy to communicate with and very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

Hala was a great host. Super responsive and kind. We got in early on a red eye thinking we'd be struggling to buddy our time until check-in but when I asked for very early check in time, she immediately responded and hence became our hero! Dunkin next door was a bonus. The place was very nice and exactly as shown. Loved having this as our home base for us meeting family in Elkins Park. Thanks!

We stumbled upon the cute little town of Media by accident last summer, and knew if we came back to the area we wanted to stay there. Love the location of this Airbnb - perfect for walking around Media or catching the train in to Philly. Also just a short and uncomplicated drive to Swarthmore (which is what brought us here this time). The sofa bed is a bit tight for multiple teens - it seems smaller than a full size mattress. If you have 4 people and none are little kids, you may want to consider bringing a single air mattress/sleeping bag for the 4th person. We went ahead and booked this Airbnb again for our next trip to the area this fall and look forward to visiting again!

had a great time staying here, loved that we were able to park in the driveway, very convenient, apartment was clean, bed was very comfortable, would highly recommend if you want to visit Philly!
