Dawniel's Cottage was quaint, clean, and well equipped with the amenities necessary to be a second home. The coastal-themed decor neatly accentuated its location. Despite being in close proximity to the schools, the neighborhood was quite peaceful and quiet. The backyard fountain was pleasant, providing a haven for the occasional hummingbird and a place to contemplate activities for the day. The cottage was centrally located to meet our travel plans. We had a very nice opportunity to visit nearby coastal communities, the unique places, and natural features on a day-by-day basis. We had a most wonderful time. Thank You!

This place is dreamy and a wonderful place to relax and host a couple family members. Was visiting my college student and it was absolutely perfect!

This house is a beautiful, home-like place and the host has thought of everything you could need. It's very private with lovely natural surroundings. Beaches are close and there are nearby opportunities for exploring up and down the coast.

The house was wonderful it had plenty of room for all 8 of us! Everyone had their own bed/place to sleep very cute themed rooms and it was just wonderful ❤️

The house was perfect for our getaway. The kids enjoyed the backyard sandy area on the dune and the private dune trail was super cool, espeically for sunsets. We did think it had better beach access-didn't know the dune has a steep dropoff—but there is nearby public beach access which is easier to use. The separate entry for the downstairs was a bit tricky if you have small kids that want to bunk down there but we managed. Everyone had a great time. House was well cared for and the kitchen was stocked with many essentials and we really appreciated that they left condiments and other things in the fridge door. You don't often see that! 10/10 would book again.

Lovely, old Craftsman home. Shower situation was as described, but doable. Would have liked to have the option of a TV to watch movies, but there is wifi, so you're good with a laptop. Location is quiet and a quick drive to restaurants and entertainment. I'd stay here again.

This house is in a very quiet peaceful neighborhood. You are minutes to downtown shopping, great food and things to do. This is our 2nd time staying here and hope it is available on our next visit. Thank you Eugene for keeping the house so sweet and clean.

Truly peaceful and great vibes at this apartment. We felt right at home and enjoyed our short stay very much. Super cozy and close to the university. Host was also very helpful in recommendations and answering any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend.

15 min walk to downtown restaurants. Would be a good 30 min walk to campus I think. Never heard the train. We were greeted upon arrival by two tweekers dumpster diving, but area felt generally safe. Place is in a sort of old apartment complex but it's fine for a couple night stay. Couch is comfy, one of us slept on it, and the extra blankets in the basket were appreciated. TV is good. Bathroom fine except toilet is a bit too close to bathtub and requires one to sit at a weird angle- not a real prob but it's a thing. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to make a simple meal. Parking is fine, right at the window. Other units were quiet. Good value and would stay here again, at this price point.

This is a very cute place. I was in town for Newport Seafood and Wine Festival. loved our stay would stay again.

My wife absolutely adored the decor and we both appreciated how spotless and well-maintained everything was. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a truly special getaway. It’s a destination we’ll be reminiscing about for years to come, and we can’t wait to return someday!

This was a cozy place just perfect for my sister and me. There was nothing lacking in the amenities and very clean! Highly recommend!

Katherine was a very responsive and attentive host. She addressed all of our needs and even gave us of suggestions of things to do in the area! You can tell that a lot of care has been put into this very chic and cozy apartment. Super comfortable furniture and all of the amenities :)

Our family had a lovely stay, we enjoyed the ocean view and the ease of getting onto the beach easily. If you bring your groceries with you, you could park once and walk to everything! Some places have minimal pots/pans/utensils but Leah provided a well stocked kitchen that I appreciated for our cooking needs. We walked everywhere! To the gift shops, restaurants, Blue Pig Bakery (try their cinnamon roll!), and even Coast Park for their playground. We would love to return, thank you!

Joan and Rick have a BEAUTIFUL home with great beach access. My family and I were wanting an easy get away from the chaos, and we found that here at this location. I would definitely recommend this to someone else visiting the area!

A favorite Airbnb in Florence. Perfect for when we head to the coast or a festival at the Florence Event Center. Two bedrooms are more than we need, but it's still very affordable, comfortable and in a perfect location.

This is a beautiful condo with a gorgeous view of the river and bridge and very walkable to shops and restaurants. Everything was very clean. I did not do a lot of cooking, but the kitchen seem well outfitted. There were lots of games and puzzles. It rained most of the time so I did not get to enjoy the patio. There is some noise from the bridge traffic but I did not find it to be disruptive. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Beautiful view! Wonderful to be able to walk right down to the beach. Traveling with a toddler, so hugely appreciated the little things like coffee, sand toys, and books. Highly recommend! Would absolutely stay here again next time we're in Newport.

For my second visit to LaBob's Nye Beach Retreat, I brought my sis who lives on the east coast! She was amazed at your beautiful condo. We thoroughly enjoyed sister time since she lives so far away! The beautiful views from every window and balcony were breath taking, And walking on the beach was amazing! It was heavenly falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean! Coffee shops and stores are so close! I hope to take more family members to LaBob's soon! Elsa

The condo was everything that was listed and more. It was nice to have the little extras in the kitchen, like coffee, spices, working appliances, extra food if needed. It was also nice to have extras like phone cables, laundry soap, dryer sheets and soap and shampoo in the showers. I would recomend the condo to everyone looking for a place in Newport. Leslie
