House vacation rentals in Umpqua River

The house was welcoming from the very first moment we got there. Everything was placed in a perfect way and labeled. Never had to look very hard for anything. The house was super well stocked and had all the amenities to make us feel right at home. It was a wonderful location, amazing to just literally step right off the deck and be on the beach. When down on the beach it was very quiet and never busy. Felt like we had our own beach most of the time. Debbie was a wonderful host and always there if we had a question. I would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

We had a group of 6, the space was perfect size and in a great location. 5 minute walk to beach access, the beach was gorgeous and the few times we went had very little people out on it. Close to Newport for attractions, we greatly enjoyed our stay!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful house in a stunning natural setting.

The house was perfect for our getaway. The kids enjoyed the backyard sandy area on the dune and the private dune trail was super cool, espeically for sunsets. We did think it had better beach access-didn't know the dune has a steep dropoff—but there is nearby public beach access which is easier to use. The separate entry for the downstairs was a bit tricky if you have small kids that want to bunk down there but we managed. Everyone had a great time. House was well cared for and the kitchen was stocked with many essentials and we really appreciated that they left condiments and other things in the fridge door. You don't often see that! 10/10 would book again.

We had a great stay at Carolina’s place. The home was beautiful and had everything that we needed. It was well stocked and super clean. Good location and quiet street. My wife liked the Nespresso machine and I enjoyed the garage. We would absolutely stay here again!

We spent 7 nights over spring break at this house. We were looking for a more secluded getaway and this fit the bill. Still close enough to amenities but out there. Everything at the house was functional, but we were warned beforehand to bring our own drinking water (I also saw mention of this in the reviews). Of course my kids became thirstier than ever so we plowed through a lot of bottled water! We really enjoyed the hot tub and movie room. Some of us even jumped in the pool for a minute for fun, but the water was still quite chilly (as expected). The property is amazing! Our dog picked up a couple ticks when I walked him through the more wooded area, so be sure and have your dogs meds up to date (not a bash on the place, I mean it’s the forest…just a heads up for people with dogs). Cody was great at being accommodating and helpful. Couple small things here and there that could be tightened/touched up, but par for the course for a well used STR. Would recommend

The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. It was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you could need. The hosts communicated very well and had very clear instructions for check in and out. I will definitely rent from them again but longer next time so I can enjoy it that much more.

Dawniel's Cottage was quaint, clean, and well equipped with the amenities necessary to be a second home. The coastal-themed decor neatly accentuated its location. Despite being in close proximity to the schools, the neighborhood was quite peaceful and quiet. The backyard fountain was pleasant, providing a haven for the occasional hummingbird and a place to contemplate activities for the day. The cottage was centrally located to meet our travel plans. We had a very nice opportunity to visit nearby coastal communities, the unique places, and natural features on a day-by-day basis. We had a most wonderful time. Thank You!

A hidden gem in Fall Creek&the perfect retreat,nestled in a breathtakingly beautiful and secluded forest setting.From the moment we arrived,we felt completely at home and quickly fell in love with this special cabin.The house itself is incredibly comfortable.Everything provided felt intentional,making it easy to settle in and just enjoy the surroundings.Big highlight for our family was the incredible music setup!Our son had an absolute blast jamming out on the electric guitar they provided,and he even got to experience playing the drums and organ.Truly something he’ll never forget!When we weren’t enjoying the cozy cabin,we were out exploring the stunning trails and soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds this one-of-a-kind retreat. One of the best extra bonuses,our pets were able to join us,making the experience even more special!If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the PNW, this is it. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and can’t wait to return.

Catherine’s place was amazing and so beautiful! Her place was easy to find and her instructions were beyond clear. The inside and outside was gorgeous and made us feel right at home. Just a 10 minute walk to get on campus with a calm and quiet neighborhood. Would 100% come back and stay here!!

This was a great little place for the price we paid. Our home away from home traveling with younger children. it was great to have a home to relax at and There was a park right around the corner!

Perfect family friendly home rental for vacation. I love that beach is within walking distance. Owner's were very friendly and would respond quickly.

This place was the perfect spot for us. I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. we brought our dogs and they loved the walkable neighborhood. the kitchen is up to date and although we didn't cook a big meal, I think we would have been well equipped.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Patricia’s beautiful home! We came with our parents and kids, and the house was absolutely perfect for all ages. It was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had stunning, peaceful views that made us feel instantly relaxed. The hot tub was a real treat for the adults, while the kids had a blast with all the games available—it really felt like there was something for everyone. Patricia was incredibly kind and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We initially booked for two nights but ended up staying an extra night because none of us wanted to leave! We’re already talking about when we can come back again. Highly recommend this place—it’s a gem!

Lovely Airbnb. Close to walking trails with beautiful peaceful views of the mountains and quiet surrounding. A nice area and walkable restaurant on the gold course called The Pub. Would def stay here again! Perfect retreat for two people who want coziness.

this place is awesome!!clean plenty beds and grate location, clear instructions and sara was very respectful, they needed to change batteries to the lock and ask us for permission to doit, if we ever go back to Eugene, she will be my first option if the place is available !!! thank you sara for having us !!

Chloe and Jason are excellent hosts. We had a long term stay with them and they were 100% responsive, kind and eager to make us feel completely at home.

This house is a beautiful, home-like place and the host has thought of everything you could need. It's very private with lovely natural surroundings. Beaches are close and there are nearby opportunities for exploring up and down the coast.

The house was very nice and accommodated us well. We enjoyed the stay. We had our “Christmas” dinner there and it was a nice kitchen to cook in. The only thing was there were no serving dishes like bowls or platters. Otherwise it was great

This was our 5th visit to Oregon in the past few years. It was our first time visiting Coos Bay. We were looking for a family friendly home, near attraction. Melinda's house fit the bill. It was clean and neat. It had a nice open feel to it. We did a lot of sightseeing so we were mostly at the house in the evenings. The neighborhood was pretty quiet. We loved the pool table. We used the BBQ one night which was great. Everyone slept good for the most part. The bottom bunk bed could use a little more pading or a small box spring. We had one adult sleeping on it and they could feel the metal frame. Other than that, the house was prefect for us. Definitely would recommend to family and friends. If ever traveling up this way again, we would love to rent again.

Beautiful home and so close to the lake. We stayed here during a visit at Brownsville for Thanksgiving with my family. This place was perfect for our family to relax comfortably after our visits in Brownsville. The kitchen was great and offered many options for us to cook some of our favorite Thanksgiving dishes there since other kitchen in Brownsville was full. Erica’s place will not disappoint.

The location is ideal with a beautiful and private view of the ocean, but still a fraction of a mile to the restaurants and shops of Port Orford. The house is well stocked with essentials so you can quickly settle in and feel right at home. The assortment of art in each room gives it a personal touch. We'll be back. 😊
