Salmon Creek Studio - Quaint and Secluded

AnitaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We chose Gene and Gretchen's in part due to the close proximity to the Cascade Amphitheater in Ridgefield, WA. It was perfect! They are just a 5 min walk from the Salmon Creek Trail, so we took a 6 mile walk the morning after arriving. Getting to the concert (we used Lyft) venue and back was a breeze. There were also several good restaurant options (and a freeway entrance) within 10 min (drive). The unit had everything promised, and then some. We appreciated how clean and comfortable it was. Gene and Gretchen made the experience easy in every way. They are the ideal hosts. Would highly recommend a stay here.

1920’s Boho Bungalow Historic Fort Near Waterfront

CandaceRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My stay here was phenomenal from the very first interaction with Kareen. I was moving to the area to open a brand new community and my apartment wasn’t ready so I found this listing and booked it last minute. It was such a pleasant stay. I slept like a baby on the bed. It was a perfect location and I was able to enjoy 2 local Thai food spots (Ginger Pop was my fave) and ventured out to some of the other local spots. I really enjoyed Cecilia’s for breakfast and Paper Tiger for a quick coffee break. I even went bowling at Crosby’s which was a 2 minute walk from the house. Everything about this space was inviting and I really enjoyed the HUGE TV in the living room. I was able to cook a meal and found everything I needed in the kitchen. 10/10 would recommend and if a cozy bed is your top priority this is the place for you. Kareen’s instructions were spot on and I found it really easy to know exactly where to park once I read them and how to operate the electronic lock. Will come again!!!!

Very relaxing and peaceful. We mostly used the space as a home base as we traveled around Washington and Oregon. It was a nice place to go back to and unwind. We really enjoyed Creed Coffee and Hungry Sasquatch nearby.
