Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. Our cozy, pet-friendly cabin has been remodeled top to bottom. It has an open floor plan and will sleep 2 comfortably in the loft with fold outs below suitable for 2 singles. Sandy Ridge Trail is right around the corner, Wildwood Park is across the way, and Mt Hood is a short 15 minute drive. Close to some great Eats and Drinks. We recently added a clawfoot tub with on demand hot water for a lovely soak outdoors!
