Castle vacation rentals in Umbria

Need to take the not scary road (i am excessively scared on small mountain roads) ‘ but that’s my fault i did not focused on how to reach but the wide space surrounding the winery and the owner has thought about offering various fun activity for children during summer and there was a playground . great contrast for our first day back to italy knowing we live in uae. To be emerged in the wild nature.

The place is amazing, incredible views and very charming and peaceful. Nazareno, the local caretaker is super friendly and showed us around. Highly recommended.

Well - I dont know where to start Basics - place is amazing. House, area, facilities, everything inside - by far the best airbnb we have been to and we will come back with friends again! You can't go wrong with this place and rating of 5 does not make justice- it should be 10 Now - this is all is nothing compared to how amazing hosts are - - i have never seen such hospitality and care before. We had a very difficult personal situation with my mom ending in the hospital and my wife getting very sick. Lavinia, Lorenzo and family were SOOOO helpful - they helped with EVERYTHING - there are real angels who helped us get through this very difficult time. I thank them all and pls come and stay here - region is great, place is second to none and hosts are just nicest people you will meet!

Just the views of lake Trasimeno from the balcony make this apartment worth while, but on top of that there is the amazing abbey from the year 1100 in which the apartment is located, the beautiful pool and grounds. Not suitable for people who have difficulty walking, because the apartment has a few height differences and therefore steps. An apartment for those who appreciate old authentic buildings, peace and tranquility and a beautiful view of the countryside.

Our accommodation was in a delightful upstairs part of the buildings associated with the castle; stone walls, tiled floors and wonderful views across to another castle and the distant hills. It was simply but nicely furnished and had everything we needed including a lovely pool. However the really standout thing is the welcome we received from Antonio and Adriana. They are so friendly and helpful with all sorts of little helps during our stay. This part of Umbria is spectacularly beautiful, the roads are quiet (but rough!) and we tried to always use the small country lanes for the best experiences and views. I hope we will be back.

Our stay at this medieval castle was truly unforgettable. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to help us when our car had mechanical issues. The back terrace offered breathtaking views, and the serenity of the location made it the perfect retreat, far from any hustle and bustle. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Living in a medieval castle was an incomparable experience, and we loved the friendly visits from Pepita, the dog. The only minor inconvenience was the limited hot water supply for six people, but it didn't overshadow our wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

Amazing host and home. We had a great time at the place. Ensure you coordinate check in times. In the US you get a code and can check in immediately but in Italy you need to meet the host at a specific time. Nothing wrong with it just good to know in advance for US travelers. Overall highly recommend this place
