Vacation rentals with breakfast in Umbria

What a beautiful place! The photos do not do it justice. Claudia's Casa was spotlessly clean, well-stocked, and very quiet. It would help you to know that Via Pellegrini is bi-level. The entrance to Claudia's place is up the stairs, just under the portico. After we learned the streets, we were happy to know that hers easily led into the hearts of town. Claudia's parking instructions, and then her walking instructions, were perfect. Do not map her street address! Map her parking instructions. It will save you a lot of time and angst. My co-pilot did me wrong. And that is all I will say about that! Viterbo is a lovely small town, and Claudia's place exactly mirrors its character. We loved staying at Claudia's, not just for what I mentioned, but because her instructions were so clear, the amenities were exactly as described, and her home felt so comfortable, we could have stayed longer. Plus...Viterbo may not be on your bucket list, but it should be!

This was an amazing place to stay! The house is very close to everything in Assisi. The rooms were spacious and private and very comfortable. Fabio and his mom were very friendly and covered the check-in in detail with lots of suggestions in the area and making sure we were taken care of well.

Daiana’s place is clean and spacious and in a lovely location. The beds and sofa were very comfortable and Daiana was very responsive and helpful. And flexible with check out. The house could do with a few more basic items which Daiana provided when requested. We were attending an event at the nearby castle so it was as an ideal location. The pool however was still closed for the winter so worth checking in advance.

Delightful host and perfect home for a retreat away from the city. Tidy, clean and characteristic. They even brought us croissants for breakfast!

We were well received by Antonella, with many useful tips for excursions and eating/drinking. The house is an excellent base for Assisi, Spello and Trevi

The house is located in a beautiful place in the Apennines, relatively close to cities such as Gubbio, Urbino and Cagli, which are worth a visit, but above all immersed in nature and silence as well as many walking trails nearby and for all levels. Obviously, you are a bit lost so services like supermarkets etc. are not right around the corner, so you need to prepare. The road to get to the house is a mountain road (paved), so quite narrow but easily passable given also the very little traffic. The house is comfortable and spacious, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need (pots, condiments, coffee...), there is a terrace with beautiful views, there is no heating (hot water yes) but there is a fireplace. The host Riccardo was super helpful and kind: both with regard to check-in and check-out, and during the stay, he made sure that there was everything necessary, from linens to wood for the fireplace.

We spent a wonderful week in Umbria, the perfect apartment for two people is really equipped with everything (it is the first time that we have found toothbrushes in the bathroom!!!)... very comfortable bed with two pillows, TV with Sky and Netflix... the garden in total safety is a must for those who, like us, travel with a medium-sized four-legged couple in tow (by the way, there are also bowls, cushions and mattresses available if you forget!)... The experience with Michela was very positive, because she was attentive, ready and caring... we can only recommend!!!

Felicita’s place is a great base camp for exploring Spoleto—you’re right at the heart of everything! The space was clean and had everything we needed

Luca's place is the best you can find if you pass by Lake Bolsena. Fantastic view of the lake, new and clean apartment. Highly recommended!

We found this countryside property a real delight. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Assisi. It was centrally located for us to easy explore out to other areas in Umbria. The room was very comfortable in a very beautiful countryside setting. Our host, Sara was fantastic. We wouldn't have any hesitation to stay here on a future trip to Umbria.

Everything was spectacular!!! The check-in instructions, the self check-in, the parking space (which in Assisi is a critical issue), the comfort and cleanliness of the place, its location, in short, everything was great. I recommend it and I'll be back if possible!

Amazing place with even more amazing hosts!

We were warmly welcomed at Elena's. Her house is located in the middle of nature and she lives surrounded by friendly animals. The proposed apartment is located above hers. It is fully equipped and clean. The environment is quiet and conducive to rest. Elena had generously left us food as well as basic kitchen essentials. I recommend this place if you are passing through.

Maria is an amazing host! Her friendly welcoming nature made us feel at ease from the very start. Her attention to detail was amazing and her apartment was beautifully decorated. We had a few hiccups with transport and eSIMs which didn’t work, but Maria sorted everything out for us. We will be staying there again and next time we will stay for much more than just 3 days! Thank you Maria!!

Wonderful apartment to stay at, location is perfect as it is close to the historic center but removed enough that it’s quiet. Easy to get to, we came via train and getting from the station with the minimetro to the apartment was quick and easy. The apartment itself is stunning, very roomy and the views are incredible. Everything looked just like the description. Mauro was very kind and attentive and helped with bags up the stairs. The snack bar and bottle of prosecco was a nice touch that was greatly appreciated and enjoyed. Would absolutely stay again and recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in Perugia.

Fabio was a very good host. He offered a perfect stay for my family of 8 adults +1 dog while attending a wedding in Citta di Castello. The location is about a 15 min drive from town but is surrounded by nature and wonderful views of the countryside. The two appartements are very comfortable and beautiful.

Annalisa's place was a gem. Great location. Very close to the Duomo. We loved staying in Orvieto and at Annalisa. The apartement was very clean and very spacious with a nice big bathroom. Communication was interesting, sometime challenging, but we made it work. Annalisa is very friendly and she gave us a lot of advices as to what to see and do in Orvieto and around. A nice breakfast was ready for us in the morning. Parking was easy and once there, we walked all around this beautiful medieval town.

One of the best homes we've been to. The building in an old medieval tower with garden overlooking the lake, totally renovated and very comfortable inside. The room is beautiful and very clean, everything was perfect and very professional. Best of all, Monica's treatment, always attentive that we were at ease, picked us up at the station, gave us recommendations about the village and at the exit allowed us to leave our bags until the time of our train. Fantastic breakfasts, adapted to my gluten-free food needs. Thank you very much for everything, if we go back to the area we will stay here again definitely!

Benedetta and her husband were truly wonderful hosts — kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. Their proactive communication and genuine hospitality made everything feel effortless and so much fun. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. We can’t wait to visit them again on our next trip!

I had a wonderful week in Foligno. The apartment is charming and comfortable, well equipped with everything you might need for your stay. The lovely host, Sonia and her genial husband, were helpful, kind and welcoming. I highly recommend Foligno as a town, too. Most guidebooks describe it a great base for exploring Umbria, which it is, but it is also an attractive and pleasant place in its own right.

It was a very special experience.I chose this amazing cottage among the 6 options, and the one brake that arrived was convinced by the scenery in front of me and it was nicer than on the photos.The host was friendly and had a great chat, the room was also the style I liked, and it was especially clean.Though it was only a short day, I wish I had booked a few more days at that time, and by the end it was very reluctant to check out.Will definitely come back to this nice house next time I'm in Assisi.Looking forward to seeing you next time!

It faces the main street, and it is easy to go to Funicolare and the cathedral.And the host was friendly and perfect in everything.There are stairs, but he carried it for me.The bathroom is also spacious and independent, and can be used only by you.I want to stay here again next time.
