Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Umbria

Rosanna has created a beautiful and hospitable B+B. Right from my first inquiry she responded with warmth and enthusiasm for our stay. We had no issue with the accommodation being outside of the wall. Walking into the city was straight forward. Waking up to a thoughtful breakfast which we could enjoy on the terrace with stunning views was simply wonderful.

Fabio was a very good host. He offered a perfect stay for my family of 8 adults +1 dog while attending a wedding in Citta di Castello. The location is about a 15 min drive from town but is surrounded by nature and wonderful views of the countryside. The two appartements are very comfortable and beautiful.

Posto tranquillo e silenzioso dove godere della pace dei territori. Ottima qualità-prezzo. Camere comode e con tutto il necessario per un buon soggiorno. Meravigliosa la piscina dove fare un tuffo o rilassarsi. Giovanna ed Emilia, due padrone di casa attente e gentili, disponibili nel farvi sentire a casa. Posizione perfetta per raggiungere qualsiasi luogo, da Assisi a Santa Maria degli Angeli, da Perugia a Gubbio. Posto in cui probabilmente torneremo

Appena si varca l'ingresso della Residenza Bocci si rimane incantati dalla bellezza della location... Un luogo immerso nella natura dove potersi rilassare, ma che ha allo stesso tempo una posizione strategica per poter raggiungere con facilità Assisi, Spello, Rasiglia e le cascate delle Marmore(solo per citarne alcune!). La colazione di benvenuto è stata favolosa soprattutto per gli assaggi di torte realizzate dalla mamma di Leonardo(peccato non averla avuta tutti i giorni!) L'Appartamento al primo piano che affaccia sulla piscina ha uno stile rustico ma allo stesso tempo elegante. Consiglio vivamente a tutti di soggiornare da Leonardo, host con esperienza, se vi trovate a Foligno in Umbria.

I loved my stay with Paola in their BnB. The room was huge, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was very filling with delicious food. The hospitality show by Paola and her husband was excellent, and I felt very well looked after and safe as a solo female traveller. The BnB is located a very short walking distance from the main centre of the historic part of Spello, and there were a number of great restaurants and lots of excellent shopping with small boutiques with local makers. I’m very grateful for my stay!

The surrounding environment was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The house is located right by the roadside, so it was very easy to find. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the host’s parents — they were fairly friendly and talkative. They even taught us quite a bit of Italian! Despite the language barrier, we had a truly enjoyable conversation. The room was much better than in the photos — such a lovely surprise! Everything was spotless and full of character. We really hope to stay here again next time!

Great place, unforgettable. I want to go there again. Marco is a very good host, nice and smiling and obliging. Delicious food in Tuscany and wonderfull views.

Tutto curato nei minimi dettagli Lo staff super disponibile, ci hanno consigliato ottimi ristoranti e dato qualche chicca sulle cose da visitare. Camera pulitissima curata in ogni dettaglio, colazione fantastica, tutto fatto in casa, da provare assolutamente la torta ricotta e limone, i biscottini con le mandorle e i taralli al vino ma anche le altre cose sono buonissime. Posizione molto comoda, parcheggio gratuito all’interno della proprietà. Speriamo di riuscire a tornare con più calma.

Ich hatte eine wundervolle Zeit bei Eva. Wer auf der Suche nach einer Auszeit vom Alltag ist und endlich mal wieder so richtig zur Ruhe kommen will, ist hier genau richtig. Eva‘s leckeres Frühstück mit Blick auf die umliegende unberührte Natur liefert dabei den perfekten Start in den Tag. Eva ist nicht nur eine sehr liebevolle und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, ich habe auch viel von ihr gelernt. Bei einem Spaziergang durch die umliegende Natur hat sie mir gezeigt wie wilder Spargel wächst und auch wilde Orchideen habe ich dort um ersten Mal gesehen. Die meiste Zeit habe in der Werkstatt an der Drehscheibe verbracht, auch da ist Eva eine hervorragende Lehrerin. Ich habe die Zeit sehr genossen und würde jederzeit wieder kommen!

Annelie's place was indescribably beautiful! The whole experience was incredible. Annelie really cares and takes care of her guests to make sure you have the most comfortable, enjoyable trip. The place has the most amazing view, and is super cozy. The towns nearby have lots to offer. And the churches and hikes nearby are amazing. A great way to get lost for a few days and enjoy the peace. This one is definitely for the books!

Ponen a tu disposición fruta, postres, agua y té durante todo el día. Ademas de pan y café de grano por las mañanas. El lugar es bonito, cómodo, bien ubicado y con buena calefacción. Además el anfitrión fue súper atento desde antes que mi llegada. Volvería sin pensarlo!

Appena entrata nella casa di Bruno mi sono trovata davanti a una casa splendida. Ha riscontrato i miei gusti in ogni particolare , fino nei dettagli. Bruno è una persona super disponibile e interessante anche da conoscere. Peccato che la mia è stata una toccata e fuga ma dovendo tornare spesso a Perugia, è probabile che tornerei ancora da lui. Ha pure una terrazza privata splendida! Mi ha permesso di rilassarmi anche durante questo grande caldo estivo. Cosa non da poco. Grazie ancora .

Cristina is the most lovely host. She was so welcoming and communicative, gave lots of great recommendations, and the house was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, and Cristina went above and beyond helping me find a way to the train station when there were no buses or taxis available on a Sunday. Highly recommend staying at La Casa del Sole!!

We had a lovely stay. A great location and short drive into Assisi. Clean and comfortable room and a great breakfast provided by the host. Would stay again!

Absolutely lovely place and location. Stuart and Katrina are very friendly and accommodating hosts and could not have been more helpful. Our flight was delayed and therefore we arrived later than anticipated. I messaged ahead to advise of this and realising that finding food at that time could be tricky, Stuart and Katrina offered to prepare a Tagliere for us. What a lovely surprise and it was fantastic. They also recommended places to visit both in the area and for our onward journey at Florence. We would highly recommend.

Il soggiorno da Karen e Marco è stato fantastico! Un'oasi di pace immersa nel verde. La casa e il giardino sono bellissimi, curati in ogni dettaglio. I proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa! La camera è accogliente, adatta ad una coppia con un bambino piccolo. Speriamo di tornare in estate per poter sfruttare la bellissima piscina!

Ottimo posto, paese tranquillo ma facile da raggiungere! Casa pulitissima e con tutti i comfort necessari. Elisabetta e sua madre, gentilissime e molto disponibili! Esperienza positiva, se ne avrò occasione tornerò molto volentieri!

Localita' vicinissima alle grotte turistiche di Frasassi, non solo! I d'intorni sono splendidi. Anche se potevamo usare la cucina, non lo abbiamo fatto, perche' ci sono ristoranti buoni e a relativamente buon mercato. Colazione Italiana buona con uno yogurt autoprodotto buonissimo. Silenzio e letti comodi, abbiamo dormito benissimo.

Siamo stato per capodanno da ivo e Claudia. Che dire… persone gentili e disponibili. Casa perfetta, noi siamo andati in 4 famiglie con bambino in totale 15 persone. L’ambiente era adatto per 19 persone quindi siamo stati molto larghi. Tutto perfetto, consigliatissimo ci torneremo sicuramente

Abbiamo soggiornato a Casa Lola per la posizione strategica per poter fare una parte del Cammino di Germanico, che parte appunto da Amelia. Ci siamo trovati molto bene per la posizione della struttura, per le sue caratteristiche e per l'estrema tranquillità della zona. A contatto con la natura, con un bel giardino, una bella vista, spazi verdi. La casa è molto carina, in stile rustico e accogliente, gli host sono stati davvero gentili e disponibili, la colazione buona e abbondante. In più, abbiamo goduto delle coccole di Lola, la cagnolona degli host, buonissima e dolcissima, da cui il B&B prende il nome. Ci torneremmo molto volentieri.

Il soggiorno a casa di Alvaro sarà indimenticabile, oltre che per l’ottima posizione per visitare tante città, per la bellissima casa, per la quiete e la tranquillità che si respira in questo luogo, sarà indimenticabile per la straordinaria ospitalità di Alvaro e sua moglie che sembrano due amici di vecchia data. Ti aprono le porte della loro casa e del loro cuore, due persone estremamente generose e amichevoli. Siamo stati solo due notti ma non sarei andata più via. La piscina è fantastica ed è possibile utilizzarla a qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte, la colazione è servita in giardino e prenotando si possono fare anche corsi di cucina. Alvaro farà di tutto per non farvi mancare nulla, gestisce anche un ristorante che nei miei giorni di permanenza era chiuso per ferragosto ma che sarà un’ottima scusa per tornare. Sono davvero felice di aver scoperto questo posto. Non fatevi ingannare dalle foto, tutto è assolutamente migliore di quello che sembra!! A prestissimo ♥️

Cara Maria, Grazie mille! We had a wonderful time. Maria is so very kind and her Tuscan home is a dream. If you’re looking for a place to wind down and relax - this is it. It’s also very well situated. Just a few kilometres from Castiglion Fiorentino (excellent food) and Cortona (stunning views). We also took the train from Castiglion Fiorentino to Firenze and spent a whole day there. You do need a car though. Generally just a really good vacation that we can absolutely recommend. Leaving made us really sad. We look very much forward to visiting again.
