Vacation rentals with beach access in Twin Cities

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The one-bedroom space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The neighborhood felt very safe, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was smooth, and they were very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and secure place to stay by the historic lake.

The renovation of this building was so well done. The place is beautifully decorated. We loved our stay in historic Carver!

It was an absolute pleasure to book with Steve & Helene. They were kind and helpful and their home was beautiful. I would highly recommend booking their lovely home to my friends and family knowing they would have a wonderful experience from start to end.

Allison’s place was great! Very cute vintage decor throughout the apartment and it felt very cozy and like home throughout my stay. Very easy to find and in a great location, was able to take a nice walk around the lakes every day. No issues with parking at all, there is plenty of street parking immediately outside the front door. Allison provided detailed instructions regarding check in on the day of my reservation which made the whole process easy.

This place is perfect size, and curated really nice. Walking distance to a coffee shop with an incredible work space. Well thought out studio by the owner. Everything was great.

Amir is actually the one whom should be named as host, as 100% of the communication and everything else was with him and it is that that deserves the 5 star review, for even where there where a few issues of concern (such as a smart lock that loudly announces you are being recorded and a stove top that needed repair) he was incredibly proactive, friendly, accommodating, professional, responsive and on top of it.. and this made the stay exceptional for us, and we would stay again - as he made clear that a few things were already being addressed, enhanced and improved upon for future guests and stays. Would recommend, and Amir is a great host.

It's a great location on Lake Street, close to top restaurants such as 6Smith and a short walk to shops and the beautiful Wayzata Bay. The unit is spacious and just as described. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and plan to return.

Had a great stay in this cozy spacious 2BR loft apartment. Check-in/Check-out both quick and easy and garage parking was Much appreciated on this polar-vortex Twin Cities weekend! Hosts Kathleen and Lonnie are very responsive, accommodating, and if you’re good on stairs, you’ll love the privacy, quietude and canopy-vista from this ‘lofty perch’ in this beautiful Uptown neighborhood! Great location with lots of space for several families!

Super cute place on a quiet street. Adorable sitting area on the deck. Lake with is 2 blocks away and has a very nice trail for waking or biking. Many restaurants and stores nearby. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was bright and spacious. The location was great and we enjoyed walking around the lake and to restaurants.

Jesse was amazing! Came through for my family last minute and helped us tremendously. The house was super nice and accommodating. Everything was clean and up to par.

Great space, spotlessly clean, well designed for big groups like ours. Lots of gaming options inside and comfortable outdoor spaces. Lovely river view! Kitchen work area is narrow, but the extended space and counters around it gave us enough room to cook and visit. Appreciated the extra fridge and storage area near garage. Really well stocked with kitchen items and small appliances. Beth was responsive and available if needed. Loved the country feel of being on the river but minutes from shopping and museums of the city!

Katie and Kurt have a beautiful home! The neighborhood is great, with lots of food options nearby and very walkable. The back deck is so relaxing with great tree coverage. Katie and Kurt were extremely accommodating and fast to respond to messages.

Good location and safe neighborhood. I stayed in the upstairs unit and it was pretty roomy. The thin walls didn’t bother me since the noise was minimal. Would stay again in the future.

Bryan’s place was clean and he was very responsive. His place had all kinds of supplies from extra paper towels, shampoos, body soap, towels and iron. We were in town to visit our grand kids and it was within walking distance to their house. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Bryan!

Seana was an excellent, responsive host, and her place is cozy, clean, and comfortable. The location is ideal— right by several quality restaurants and near the lake— and the apartment is well equipped with tea, coffee, and a great spot by the window where you can enjoy them in the morning.

We had a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s place. It was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We loved the location, just accross the street from Hiawatha Lake and near Lake Nokomis. The living room has a gorgeous view of the lake, and we hopped across the street every morning to take wonderful walks. Our two sons came up to run the Twin Cities Marathon and the location couldn’t have been any better for that. The place is near a light rail station and from the station it’s just a short ride to starting line The apartment is also really good close to the halfway point on the course. The city’s great restaurants and museums are easily accessible from here too. This place is a great home base for exploring the city and getting to know it. I really couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Great location. That was my favorite part about it. Beautiful homes in the neighborhood to check out. We received some snow while I was there and it was really nice to see that the driveway was shoveled immediately. It was a great stay. Only thing I’d mention is if you are over 6’ you will find yourself bending over while in the kitchen (cooking, dishes, food prep, etc.) or in the bathroom (shower).

The Lake Nokomis area is quaint and beautiful. It felt like a small town far from the city. Within two blocks I found a coffee shop, bakery, great restaurant in a bowling alley, and a small but well stocked grocery store! Super close to the airport by Uber. Raul is very available and responds quickly. Cute place above his business with a nice deck. Two televisions and a well appointed kitchen. I can’t say enough!
