Condo vacation rentals in Truckee

Kathy’s place was a wonderful home base for our Tahoe weekend. Being able to walk out to the edge of the lake, and out onto a beautiful pier in the peaceful water, just a minute away from the unit, was magical. It was very close to Tahoe City shops and restaurants- you could easily walk or bike over. The location was ideal. The complex was very quiet while we were there (Spring), really so peaceful, and just enough away from the bustle of the main road. Kathy was a very helpful and communicative host. Everything was comfortable and clean, and we had any amenity we could think of at the ready. All around, a lovely stay in a beautiful place, thanks Kathy!

Ideal location for a family ski trip. Parked in heated garage and didn’t have to get in the car until it was time to leave. Spacious and fully stocked. Would stay again.

Our stay was great! I thought the space was the perfect size for myself, husband and two small kiddos. And having two full bathrooms was a huge plus. The location was a very short 5 minute walk to The Village and the path was easy to follow. We didn't use the kitchen much so I can't speak to it but they had everything you need. Amy was quick to communicate and was very flexible/understanding with a last minute extension that we ended up not needing. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

Will definitely be a repeat guest! Access instructions were clear, the space was just as described and absolutely perfect for two people. Hand soap, dish soap, sponge and shower liquids provided. The space gets direct morning sun and gets stuffy quickly, but airflow with the open windows remedies that in a jiffy, and a box fan is in the closet! The only hiccup was the tv. No audio cable for the dvd player. There were some tv channels, but the night before checkout, every channel was blanked out and unavailable, so we couldn’t enjoy shows before bed or our breakfast and tv before checkout. A relatively small snafu in such a beautiful place, but will plan for a laptop with downloaded content next time as the internet is too slow to stream (as described in the listing). Private beach and pier across the street were perfect for taking photos of the Milky Way. Thank you, Carol Ann. We can’t wait to stay again!

We enjoyed staying at John’s place it was peaceful and great to watch the stars from the balcony. The lounge area and the beds were comfortable. Always great to have a washing machine and dryer to use. We enjoyed Tahoe, the sun shined all week. John was a great host, offering early check in and local recommendations. Thanks Simon and Lisa

5 stars! Easy directions for room key pick up. Very convenient underground parking in building. There were snacks to welcome us, and well stocked kitchen and bathroom. They even had phone chargers in every room. The place was very clean and directly in the village next to a lovely wine bar. Would absolutely stay here again. Easy access to the lifts (approx 5 min) and all the restaurants and bars are stars away.

We had a great stay with our 5 and 8 year old kids and family dog. Fantastic location and great value- exactly as pictured. Cozy, not fussy, right in the heart of the Northstar village. If you need a midday break from skiing or have a napping child, this location is so close that it would be easy to come back for lunch or a rest. Other guests noted the 2 flights of stairs and one elevator as a potential draw back. Wasn't a problem for us on shoulder season. We left our skiiis in the car, you could also check them at the valet if you've got your hands full with kiddos. We used the heated pool and hot tubs at the recc center. Doggy relief was as convenient as it could be in an apartment-like building. Lots of patches of dirt close by with a nice walking trail by the recc center. One note, we had some nice spring weather and the loft got warm in the afternoons. Drawing the shades during the day and opening windows and doors for the evening made it more comfortable for sleeping.

Hands down the best vacation we had in Northstar ever. Can’t beat the location and condo has everything you need to feel like home.

We really enjoyed our stay with Tom’ place. Tom was super proactive with communication. He is flexible with checking in time. The place is super clean. There are many restaurants nearby. The neighborhood is super quiet. The checkout process is sooo easy. Book this place and you won’t regret it.

Noelle was super communicative and the condo was comfortable and well-equipped. It was an easy (and flat) five minute walk to Palisades village and lifts.

The condo was perfect for my two young sons and me. Check-in/out was smooth and the apartment is just as described. The location was terrific, with a few minutes' walk to the lifts and restaurants. Will definitely book again.

Great place to stay overall, only thing I would say is if you are arriving at night, be prepared with flashlights. The initial walk from parking lot to house is pitch dark.

Our first time staying at Donner Lake when skiing at Palisades—this place was perfect for our family of 4 and the views of the lake were stunning! The place was beautifully finished and cozy. The location made it still easy to get to Truckee or the interstate while providing a peaceful, relaxing setting away on the mountain lake. Would love to stay here again.

This place is better than the picture! Nice designer furniture and just an overall great vibe. Samantha and Eric was super helpful and friendly, we will come back here for sure!

Beyond our expectations! A beautiful unit, clean, private, and perfect location as it was so close to the gondola entrance! Scott was such wonderful host, and we can't wait to visit again when ski season starts again.

Modern rustic, aesthetically pleasing decor, peaceful & serene location, bucolic sunrises, close drive to Stagecoach, cozy tiny kitchen, personal touches in bathroom & kitchen - like: makeup cloths, mouthwash, toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tea, Keurig pods, chapsticks & hand sanitizer, family friendly games, 2 modern fireplaces & battery operated candles, make for a pure escape into the mountains & trees, close to the clandestine most beautiful lake. I only wish the hot tub was available year round, especially after a glorious day shredding the slopes! Thank you to Michael - for being attentive to details & design, available to queries, & flexible with plans. Our family, including our Samoyed, Nicco, enjoyed our stay & adventures in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains! 🏔️ It was really hard to leave & look forward to returning soon!

Perfect stay for our little family - very cozy and comfortable! We were there during a storm but it was easy to get in and out of this location even without AWD.

Cozy condo perfect for a quick ski trip to Heavenly. Could have walked to the lift but we drove and it only took a few minutes. Nick is an excellent host, always communicative and helpful.

We had a great 2 nights stay here. It’s kind of at a perfect spot where most good spots are like 10min by car and is peaceful at the same time. This area also has some nice hikes. Host is very responsive and even offered us an 8am checkin proactively a day in advance which was super cool and convenient. Definitely recommend staying here.

Justin’s condo was the perfect winter retreat for a couple and their Labradors. We had a wonderful ski trip that allowed us to walk to the Stagecoach lift at Heavenly. The condo is at the top floor and up several flights of stairs. It definitely took our breath away but it was worth it being on the top floor. The view was great. We loved having vaulted ceilings. The kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated a real coffee maker and not a Keurig. Justin was a great host. He was quick to respond to my messages and was very friendly. We hope to visit again soon!

We had a great stay at Sarah's place! Plenty of parking between the two dedicated spots and the overflow lot was really convenient. The space was homey and comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen (which we really, really appreciated) - plenty of pots, pans, cutting, boards, and all the accessories we needed. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

Rob’s Place is just as described. We really enjoyed the hot tub.

His place felt like home away from home. I would go back.
