We were a party of 6 with 2 dogs and we had a fantastic stay at this cozy A-frame cabin in Tahoe City! The house was spotless, stylishly furnished, and had everything we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly the place is — we brought our two dogs, and there was no extra charge, which is incredibly rare and thoughtful. The hot tub was a major highlight, perfect after a day of hiking or just to relax under the stars. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were super comfortable, and the neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful. Another big plus: the host offered early check-in and late checkout without any request, which made our stay even more flexible and stress-free. Communication was clear and responsive throughout. We would absolutely stay here again — highly recommended!

Ideal location for a family ski trip. Parked in heated garage and didn’t have to get in the car until it was time to leave. Spacious and fully stocked. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay and the use of the hot tub after a day of hiking. Very clean house, comfy beds, fluffy towels, multiple beach/hot tub towels too, and a great place to come back to after a day of adventuring. Comfy sofas and yard area to unwind. Walked down to Patton Beach with the dog. Lots of restaurants to choose from in the nearby areas. Quiet neighborhood to stay and relax in early June! We'd definitely stay here again.

Our party of 8 ( 6 adults and 2 kids) plus 2 pets stayed for 2 nights and this beautiful cabin accommodated all of us very comfortably! We stayed in the entire time and there was plenty of entertainment for us and the kids. The views were absolutely breathtaking! The host was VERY responsive. We ran into some inconveniences upon arrival but thanks to the host’s quick responses, the issue was solved immediately! I would highly recommend this cabin, we would definitely be coming back!

Lovely cosy spot very close to bars, restaurants etc. Property was clean and spacious and the outdoor deck and hot tub was lovely!

We loved staying at Kate’s place! It was so cozy and close to so many fun hikes. She was a great host and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Corrina and Chris were the best hosts. They were super responsive in answering questions, and provided detailed insider tips in navigating Northstar's terrain. Their chalet is beautifully appointed, and it's clear they care about their place and the guest experience. While I don't think any sofa bed can match a good regular bed, theirs was the most comfortable sofa bed I've ever used. The couch is a newer nicer one than shown in the photos, and the bed springs were supportive. I had no trouble sleeping on the memory foam mattress, even on my side. The location is a short ski or walk to to trails and lifts. We had a great time building memories!

Meredith’s home was lovely and peaceful and had everything we needed for a week’s stay. She was super responsive and communicative, and even made sure we had kitchen essentials and whatever we needed to make our stay more comfortable with our 6 month old! It’s clear Meredith has so much pride in her home and it was refreshing to stay at an airbnb that wasn’t just owned by some mass property management company. This felt like what airbnb’s used to feel like when it first started! Meredith, I can’t thank you enough for your hospitality and for sharing your home with us. I hope we can return again one day!

Kathy’s place was a wonderful home base for our Tahoe weekend. Being able to walk out to the edge of the lake, and out onto a beautiful pier in the peaceful water, just a minute away from the unit, was magical. It was very close to Tahoe City shops and restaurants- you could easily walk or bike over. The location was ideal. The complex was very quiet while we were there (Spring), really so peaceful, and just enough away from the bustle of the main road. Kathy was a very helpful and communicative host. Everything was comfortable and clean, and we had any amenity we could think of at the ready. All around, a lovely stay in a beautiful place, thanks Kathy!

This was an outstanding experience! The hosts were so responsive and great to work with. Also, the condo was clean, well stocked, and close to everything we needed: restaurants, coffee, grocery stores, and fun lake activities and trails! 10/10 would recommend!

I like how quiet and serene it was. Felt like we had the neighborhood to ourselves. Looks like Olga is doing a lot of updating to the the chalet. We will stay again and would love to see how it looks next year

This was a delightful home located not too far from ski resorts with ample space to relax and unwind. The kitchen was well appointed as were the bathrooms and the entertainment consoles. We had an amazing time cooking, playing games and watching movies on the enormous and comfy couch. Highly recommend for groups to enjoy some time in the mountains together.

The house exceeded our expectations and fit our family of five well. There were toys, books, and coloring supplies to keep the kids busy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Great location. We would stay here again.

This place exceeded our expectations. We had 4 adults and 2 children with us. Getting there was easy and I absolutely loved the labels around the house with clear instructions (how to open/lock things properly, etc). The place was clean. The towels & sheets smelled like fresh laundry, that was comforting. We used the hot tub. Super easy to use and very relaxing in the back. Neighborhood was very quiet and it felt safe to walk around. My family already is planning our next trip here and we’ll definitely come back. We only stayed a couple days, we wished we stayed longer.

We had a great stay with our 5 and 8 year old kids and family dog. Fantastic location and great value- exactly as pictured. Cozy, not fussy, right in the heart of the Northstar village. If you need a midday break from skiing or have a napping child, this location is so close that it would be easy to come back for lunch or a rest. Other guests noted the 2 flights of stairs and one elevator as a potential draw back. Wasn't a problem for us on shoulder season. We left our skiiis in the car, you could also check them at the valet if you've got your hands full with kiddos. We used the heated pool and hot tubs at the recc center. Doggy relief was as convenient as it could be in an apartment-like building. Lots of patches of dirt close by with a nice walking trail by the recc center. One note, we had some nice spring weather and the loft got warm in the afternoons. Drawing the shades during the day and opening windows and doors for the evening made it more comfortable for sleeping.

Very cute home. Walking distance to King’s Beach and surrounding restaurants. Very well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Wish we had more time. Thank you for calling/messaging about item we left behind in enough time for us to come back and get it. :)

The place is quiet and nice; just a short walk to the lake. Ganesh has very clear instructions and the place /house is awesome!

This home is perfection. Super clean, lots of natural light, nice Kitchen to prepare meals, and no fuss check-in/out. A colleague and I stayed here for work and it the bedrooms/baths were nicely divided between the floors allowing privacy for both of us. We will definitely stay here again on future trips.

Anette's home was absolutely fantastic! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location was perfect for walks with the family and dogo. The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful, making our stay a truly memorable experience. The place is HUGE! Everyone can have their own private space. The kitchen is fantastic, with plenty of room, and the stovetop will make you want to cook!

Our family really enjoyed our four night stay and would happily return. The house had everything we needed, was in a great location, felt easy and right at home. Thanks Nectar!

We stayed at Heather and Carolyn’s property for a week and didn’t want to leave! The location, the surroundings and close proximity to beautiful walking trails was everything we wanted. The setting is very quiet and oh that morning Sun on the front deck. Perfect for coffee and setting up our day. The amenities are top notch. The beds comfy, and playing billiards upstairs at night was so fun. We will be back!! Thank you for everything Steven and Steven

This was a 8 day family vacation with my husband and I, our son and his wife along with her parents visiting from Norway. We had more than enough room along with 3 bathrooms so everyone had plenty of privacy. We cooked all of our meals in the large and fully equipped kitchen. There is a BBQ along with a beautiful hot tub for relaxing after a day of downhill skiing at nearby North Star or Palisades. The way the house is built you literally feel like you are in the trees when you look out over the floor to ceiling windows in the back of the house. Also, there is patio furniture with a fire pit off of the eating area that we also enjoyed. There are board games, two TV areas along with 3 workstations with large computers. There is also a yoga area in the downstairs area. This is a beautiful home located in a safe and walkable area. Lori is responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a place that has everything !!!!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Our 3 year old loved all of the toys in the kids room and it was very helpful to have a guava travel crib for our 5 month old so we didn’t have to bring ours. It was snowing when we arrived but the driveway was clear and the snowplow came again later that night so it was easy to get around. Great location and would highly recommend!
