Joanne and Martin were the most thoughtful hosts. The gite had everything you could possibly need and was beautifully furnished and cosy. The pool area is gorgeous, great for relaxing on a sunny afternoon. A huge thank you to Joanne and Martin for accommodating our booking at short notice and for making us feel at home straight away. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our family and friends!

We felt right at home once we unpacked our stuff The house is very spacious, space for everyone with charming bcp The large kitchen is perfect and the outside invites relaxation and bbq The hot tub is also very pleasant on the edge of the tall grass field I recommend it without hesitating!!!! We had a very relaxing stay at Jane and David's place. The setting is very warm: an English cottage feel in the middle of the Dordogne! The accommodation, besides being tastefully decorated, is very clean. We loved that the fact that it was crossing, overlooking a very nice garden or the surrounding countryside. Jane is welcoming and responsive. We recommend the evening meals cooked by them. A great experience!

Emma’s gite was a home away from home for us! The house has a soul and positive energy. Every room is equipped with everything you might desire. You are welcomed with a delicious bottle of wine, lemonade for our kids and even some milk for our baby. Emma was helpful in sharing her recommendations of local good places and sights to see. The pool was maintained twice a day and felt super nice and refreshing due its glistening cleanliness. Enough towels, over- equipped kitchen, and basically just perfect. We came as guests to a stranger, we left as family with a new family member. Chapeau Emma! See you soon hopefully

We loved our stay. We arrived in a storm and were greeted by Mike with a large umbrella and a cheerful smile. The accommodation was in an unspoilt rural location, and was comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen/living area opened onto a patio which lead to a wonderful, large, peaceful, enclosed garden - which was the perfect place for us to unwind, along with our dog. We plan to return...

The stay went very well at Gérard's on the occasion of the comics festival. The house is close to a bakery, which is very convenient to grab yourself for lunch! The train station is also close if you don't want to take the car. The house is very comfortable with the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We recommend!

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Nice peaceful surroundings. We were the only family there so had sole use of the pool but plenty of chairs/ loungers if both cottages were occupied. Lots of outside game equipment and bikes to use. Highly recommend.

We stayed for two weeks it was wonderful a real home from home. Howard and Shirley made us feel so welcome and shared their excellent knowledge of the area. We found everything to hand and thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Definitely recommend family days at the Grand Etang, croissant and baguette from the village boulangarie and evening drinks in the Cafe Brocante in the village. Will definitely pop it on our list to return, many thanks to our lovely hosts

A real cozy nest at the gates of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, with a private garden that allows you to hear the birdsong. Marion is extremely friendly, a beautiful meeting in a peaceful setting. Everything is provided, and the stove is ideal for the evenings/nights a little chilly.
