Absolutely beautiful setting. Close to town, restaurants and beaches. We sat outside by the plunge pool with our coffee and watched Macaws. We saw a sloth on the property! The hosts always responded quickly. We highly recommend this amazing spot!

¡Vivan su experiencia! Fui de las muchas personas que leen las reseñas del lugar, no obstante, mi experiencia fue mejor que muchos comentarios e imagino que tan espectacular como otros. La ubicación del lugar es genial, tienes la playa a pocos pasos, un restaurante y supermercado. Nuestro anfitrión fue Jerome, simplemente ESPECTACULAR, una persona genial en todos los aspectos, que gusto poder conocerle. Con sus reservas ayudan al planeta, no dejen pasar la oportunidad, juro que no se arrepentirán! Volveremos pronto!

Alejandra’s air b and b honestly felt like a home away from home. She was SUCH a lovely host - incredibly welcoming and kind and gave us a beautiful tour of the property which has a wealth of amazing medicinal and edible plants which she took the time to show us. The property is beautiful and feels like an adventure as you are up in the hills surrounded by jungle. We had our own transport which made getting there really easy and made going to the shops and beach and waterfalls super accessible. Really recommend this beautiful and magical place!

Wonderful house. The animals on the property are awesome. Meg was a helpful and friendly host. The place is as pictured and described. Fantastic place for jungle immersion, but be ready for all that entails (some bugs and noises). Cocles is a super lively and fun beach and worth a visit. It’s a better place to stay than directly in Puerto Viejo. The house is up a hill a little bit so transport of sorts is recommended.

This place is absolutely incredible. Clean, comfortable, and a great gathering space for family. We LOVED the pool and outdoor area, made dinners and slept well in the cozy beds. The walkway to the beach is extremely convenient but sooo magical!!!! I loved the black sand beach and enjoyed laying in the sun with just a short two minute walk back to the house. Muchísimas gracias!!

We had a wonderful stay in Punta Uva. The grounds around the home are lovely with jungle plants and little creatures. We loved mornings on the beach and coffee from the local coffee shop around the corner. So good! Unfortunately the waves were rough the whole time we were there so we didn't get to try any snorkeling. The road can also get busy with people but there was always enough beach space to play in the waves. The open air part of the home (kitchen etc) is very rustic but charming. We enjoyed the outdoor shower. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nicely done and the ac was appreciated. We had a little trouble communicating with the caretakers on site though they were responsive once we got ahold of them. I recommend that you get a what's app conversation going when you check in so that the communication is easier. There are many restaurants in Cocles just up the road that are delicious and Puerto Viejo is a cute town to shop in and check out the black sand beach.

Alessandra is probably the best host I’ve ever had on Airbnb and I’ve been using the site regularly since 2012. She has created a haven of chic serenity and goes out of her way to make your stay as pleasurable and comfortable as possible. She has fantastic taste and knows all the best local spots. She can hook you up with massage, yoga, a great driver - whatever you need. She even cooked delicious Italian food for me. I cannot recommend her place more highly. It is a little slice of heaven and Alessandra is a most generous goddess.

Una maravilla de lugar, quedamos encantados la casa grande muy cómoda en realidad, con una granja hermosa apenas para todas las personas que nos encantan los animales, súper cerca del centro de puerto viejo de todos los restaurantes, súper mercados y farmacias, la playa muy cerca Sofia nos dio excelentes recomendaciones de las playas, nos brindó un buen asesoramiento en cuanto a las medidas de seguridad para evitar accidentes acuáticos,la comunicación excelente y en cuanto a los horarios de entrada y salida muy flexible. 100% Recomendado

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is beautiful and close to the beach, which was exactly what we wanted. The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need, including kitchen appliances, books, games, and extra towels! It was pretty rainy when we visited, so we particularly enjoyed the outdoor patio where we could still be outside and enjoy the gorgeous view without getting all wet. Overall, it was a great experience!!
