This is a fantastic place! The house is just magical. Beautiful open design. The location is right on the beach with walkable restaurants and shops. Once you get here, you don’t have to drive the entire time you’re in Puerto Viejo.

Very good place. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen. The best thing was definitely the communication with one of the hosts, Ashley. Keep in mind that the kitchen is outside, next to the pool, so if it rains too much or it's too hot, it's a little difficult to share there.

great stay, a very cozy place, fully equipped, you can easily communicate by phone with the owner if necessary, it has incredible green vegetation to relax, as an additional fact, all the beaches are nearby, as well as restaurants and bars

Lovely place for 2 couples ! Spacious kitchen and living room area. Carlos was such a responsive host we felt supported constantly with any ask we had. The place is also walkable to the centre of town. The only thing to take into consideration is that parking is very tight getting in and out. The pool was sensational!

Sharon is an excellent host, helpful, always attentive to our concerns, providing us with precise directions, the accommodation met our expectations, as shown in the photos, very cozy, well furnished and with the necessary kitchen utensils. As a single suggestion, a railing next to the pool steps would be good for easier access for adults or children if they are part of the guests.

We enjoyed staying at Pius' house very much. It is beautifully located right by the sea and lots of greenery all around. Here you have your peace and can switch off. Beautiful beaches and restaurants are within walking distance.

Our group absolutely loved this place and it was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! There was more to the property than listed in the description and pictures. The main house has 6 bedrooms and 6.5 baths. The shared half bath on the covered patio was super convenient. The pool house also has a full bath that we weren't aware of but was a nice surprise, and there are 3 additional outdoor showers. A 1-2 minute walk to Punta Uva beach and ~10 minute walk to some bars/restaurants as well. There is also a nice convenience store right across the street. The house itself is amazing with daily sightings of howler monkeys, sloths, and all sorts of birds. We also saw an anteater and Jesus Christ lizard right on the property! There's no need to leave unless you want to!

It’s a great secluded place to stay. The monkeys will absolutely wake you up so you get the Costa Rican jungle feeling yet super close to the beach. The host was very attentive and nice. Overall a great stay.

What a stunning location and home! Everything about Villa Toucan and Villa Macaw was thought out. The outdoor bathrooms (beautiful!), the open kitchen and dining are (outstanding), the lovely, helpful staff (priceless)! All in all we had an amazing holiday in your home. We do apologize for the shift and widening of your driveway, following our transport getting stuck!!! You’re not kidding when you say a 4x4 is needed in the rainy season! But we had a healthy and active group of 15 and we’re able to walk the driveway on many occasions! Superb location that allows you to stay IN THE JUNGLE, but so close to so many great beaches and activities!

We had a great weekend in this place, it was my father’s birthday trip, and we choose this perfect place. It was very easy to communicate with them. The place is really near the beach so that was really nice!

Excellent place for groups! quite big and beautiful! we all enjoyed super well, the path to the beach was complicated by the rains but well demarcated! Sorry they do not accept pets as they likewise pass by raccoons and dogs of lots near the terrace of the place, but due to said it did not give any problems.

Amazing villa, definitely connects you with nature. Would definitely recommend and be staying again in the future. The hosts were kind and helpful. Thank you for our amazing stay!

Our stay at Casa Garza in Puerto Viejo was amazing. The villa is beautiful, with many awesome indoor/outdoor spaces to relax in and enjoy, including the outdoor kitchen and of course the pool. You can walk to the beach, a little shop and a couple other places for food or you can get an uber or tuk tuk into town. The property is magnificent with huge trees lining your entrance. It is private and you can see a lot of wildlife. The separate upstairs and downstairs areas even offer privacy between parties in the villa. Everything was perfect, we can’t wait to return. Pura vida ;)

The communication and accommodation were great. We have nothing to complain about. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Amazing place, amazing location, well thought out, and very welcoming. The wildlife was such an added authentic touch. We enjoyed this home away from home and would absolutely come back to visit!

The Lodge is an enchanting oasis!!! A beautiful place to unwind. Lovingly furnished, everything you need. The houses is amazing. In the morning you will be woken up by howler monkeys, which is an incredible experience. In general, the wildlife is breathtaking. Nicolas the hotel manager does an incredibly good job. The breakfast is unique, fresh and is prepared daily on site. There's something new every day. The location is perfect. You are everywhere very quickly (by car) but you have the perfect retreat. We stayed there for 8 nights and could have even stayed longer. We already miss the place and wish the whole team well. Thank you for this great time. Best regards and see you soon.

Villa in Paradise!! We absolutely loved our stay. Perfect for groups of friends or family because everyone has the privacy of their own bungalow. The host is extremely responsive, friendly, and proactive. We would love to come back!

This is our third stay here in three years and it is something we always look forward to. We can't wait to come back! The surroundings are incredible, and we love the layout of the house, which works so well for us. We come to Costa Rica for the wildlife, and we certainly get that when we stay here! We wake with the howlers and fall asleep to the sounds of the nocturnal creatures. For people wanting a private place to observe nature, this place will not disappoint: from the variety of birds, the howlers and capuchins, to the geckos that hunt at night.
