Absolutely beautiful setting. Close to town, restaurants and beaches. We sat outside by the plunge pool with our coffee and watched Macaws. We saw a sloth on the property! The hosts always responded quickly. We highly recommend this amazing spot!

Genny and Jason were wonderful hosts. The property is paradise surrounded by jungle but a close walk to the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants near by. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Pachamama is an incredible place to stay. We met amazing people and caught awesome waves basically every day. Franz, the owner, is incredibly kind and helpful. He’s been here forever and knows all the tips! They can arrange rides, ATVs, laundry, massages, haircuts, and more for you. Even help with food deliveries! Phillipa, his daughter, is also incredibly kind and attentive. You’ll love it here!

A wonderful place, we were delighted. The big house is actually very comfortable, with a beautiful farm just for all the people who love animals. Super close to downtown Puerto Viejo, all the restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies, the beach is very close. Sofia gave us excellent recommendations for the beaches, she gave us good advice regarding safety measures to avoid water accidents, excellent communication and very flexible check-in and check-out times. 100% Recommended

The hospitality and friendliness is amazing. I highly recommend it and to get off the beaten path. I'm so sad I missed the tour. Food was excellent! I met some great people and you will, too!

Airbnb Cozy little house decorated with love located in the jungle, with everything you need to have a unique experience in the nature and feel the sound and life from the jungle . This place is a fantastic retreat surrounded by tropical plants ,animals many birds and butterflies.Wonderful host, friendly and helpful that greeted us in the morning with fresh coconut . Great location to spend the day on the beautiful beach and the night in the woods! It's a little paradise, we love it! Thank you James and Andrea!

The place is incredible! We saw monkeys, a sloth, iguanas, agoutis, and macaws — this is my third time visiting Costa Rica and I had never been lucky enough to see so many animals in one place, all in their natural habitat. The beach is less than a 3-minute walk away. The people who manage the property are the kindest and always go out of their way to help. In my opinion, it's a beautiful place that gives you the full Caribbean experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Serena. From the moment we booked, Jason and Genny reached out to me with local recommendations. They also allowed me to check in early when we arrived before the scheduled check in time. You can't ask for a better location. It is located down a quiet street, yet right in the jungle and a few minutes walk from beach and shops. The house is centrally located, allowing us to see and do many activities in the area with just a short drive. Our family loved the large outdoor space where we would wake up to howler monkeys in the morning, eat meals surrounded by nature, and relax in the hammocks at the end of the day. We also loved having A/C to cool off at night as well as an actual hot water shower which we didn’t have elsewhere. It was nice having access to both a washer and dryer, too. Jason and Genny are fantastic hosts. They are quick to reply and made it a very comfortable stay for us. This is an amazing place to stay and we highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at LapaLuna. The host was very responsive and helpful. The accommodations were comfy. We did have a lot of insects but that’s to be expected. We fell in love with our feline companion. The bikes were very useful and we used them daily! Matias was friendly and even did a load of our laundry. The electricity did go out for awhile with no knowledge and the hot water in the shower did as well. All came back on its own. It would be nice if there were bigger floats in the pool. Overall great stay and will definitely return!

The place was great!!! At times a little too close to the howler monkeys they are loud! He is a great host and super helpful. It has an amazing view and his property is well kept. It’s walking distance from the beach BUT it’s a steep walk back just be aware of that.

Fabian is too great, always attentive, the location is very good and the place very nice and cozy, until we were greeted in the courtyard, definitely to come back without a doubt.
