Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Takayama

Great place to stay with lots of brilliant bars and restaurants nearby. Parking was a little tricky, one night we had free parking and the next day the space was taken and we had to pay for local parking (which was very easy). This place was perfect for our 2 night stay in Takayama.

Wonderful living accommodation with lots of space available. Beds are extremely comfortable.

The interior was very clean and very cute, and we had a pleasant time.It was about a 5-minute drive to the convenience store, and it was a quiet environment, but there was nothing inconvenient about it!

very near the Takayama bus station. huge house and complete amenities. since it’s winter we wanted to use the heaters but when we opened them simultaneously, the power would overload and the entire house would black out until we turn off some device

It doesn't feel a little far to walk to Takayama attractions, but I don't think the city's tourist route is long enough to endure. I was worried about the noise of cars on the side of the road, but the traffic was extremely low at night, so I didn't have to worry about noise. The bedding was as clean as a hotel, and the size of the bed was also very nice with a large size fluff that would be enough for two adults to lie down. In addition, it was equipped with a new, large smart TV, a bedroom, and two air conditioners on the kitchen side, so it was perfect for relaxing in the accommodation. The kitchen utensils were well-equipped, there was no inconvenience to sit together at the dining table, and the shower was spacious, so it was so nice to stay.

Had a great time staying here during our trip to Takayama. The location is close to excellent restaurants and the station. The check-in process was very smooth and the place was great. Thank you again!

The house was just as beautifully described. It was located in a good area, within walking distance of restaurants and the central road of Takayama. The restaurant recommendations that Masato gave us were excellent. Masato-san was always responsive and helpful with every question we had. We also enjoyed a fire pit with a BBQ, which was a great experience. I highly recommend this location to anyone who wants to stay in Takayama and enjoy the town. It is also only one hour from Shirakawa-go, which is a must-see if you’re in the area.

Kon is the nicest air bnb host I have ever had. He is willing to go completely above and beyond to make your stay the best experience. He is proactive and helpful when it comes to planning days out. This will be the best air bnb you stay in. The house is very large and feels like you’re getting to know the real rural Japan. Could not recommend this place enough. Thank you.

A great and clean flat for your stay in Takayama. Close to the train station.

Great accommodation. The apartment was impeccable with everything you need to cook. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. They also gave me a lot of very useful tips for making some craft purchases. I recommend it a thousand times and if I have to come back to Takayama, it will be my preferred address without a doubt.

Sachi was amazing to communicate with leading up to check-in, very clear instructions on entry and easy to find the place. Is on the train line but never even heard the trains. The apartment had absolutely everything plus more. A table to sit at, shelves to put belongings plus a walk in wardrobe with hanging space, functioning kitchen, toaster/grill, instant coffee machine, microwave, utensils etc. The beds are the most comfortable we’ve had on our entire Japan stay. Lots of space. They catered extra for our son, on arrival, there was a baby cot and blankets set up, a feeding chair, baby toothbrush and cup and even a diaper bin. All very thoughtful and extra. The apartment itself is super cosy and is close to restaurants, markets, old section. Such an amazing stay, we would love to come back in the winter again sometime.

We had a great stay. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. We really enjoyed the traditional Japanese rooms and the fresh flowers are nice touch! The host was warm and responsive. The location is central and walkable to everything. Don’t hesitate to book!

It was really nice to stay at Nobu's house. It's very big and located in lovely woodland with a stream behind, which made for a great change after spending so long in the tourist-saturated cities! Perfectly good bathroom, and access to the kitchen was nice!
