Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Takayama

Beautiful stay at this home. Super clean, the location is absolutely perfect to visit the town. Free Parking spot on site . We love the sauna. Couple of little things. It’s pretty cold downstairs where there is bathroom and kitchen. Even with the heating on. And the bedroom has big windows on both sides which has no cover. At sunrise the sun woke us up and it’s very bright. Bring a eye cover if you can.

Thank you ひらた上一之町 and Takayama! We enjoyed our stay so much. This hut is super clean, modern, comfortable (especially the expansive open air bath, which is beautiful), and had everything we needed to enjoy Takayama. The location is a huge plus, being close to many great shops and restaurants. We loved it!

We felt like at home, marvellous area to discover. Pity that we only stayed three days

We had no trouble finding the hotel from the train. It was a walking distance and it was quite a lovely walk because you see all the different stores and restaurants. We arrived early so we rested in the lounge and then went shopping and had lunch. Finally, our room was ready and we were very impressed with the decor as well as a cleanliness. We especially loves the outdoor onsen which made you feel really relaxed as you listen to the birds. Our next night was with another Iori property so they transported our luggage to the next destination (so that we didn’t have to lug it around on the bus). Overall, we would be returned!

We came to fly over the mountains again, and only when we got out of the car did we realize that we missed the host's pick-up call.A few minutes later, Lin Sang drove to the station to pick us up.This time, we stayed in the “residential area”, right next to the supermarket, purchased various ingredients, and used the rice given by Lin Sang to make the first sushi pot. We toasted to “Feiteng Penglai” purchased from Furukawa at the spacious dining table.This trip to Hida-Takayama was more authentic.Thanks to the host for their meticulousness and enthusiasm.

I was very impressed with this inn, where everything was done with great care. The cleaning was thorough, and there were many dishes that could be used, not just white functional ones, but like a restaurant, there were many dishes that could enhance the meal. There are two terraces, one that has an open-air bath and is connected to the living room, and a second floor terrace along the river that is great during cherry blossom season. Neither could be used in winter, but it was a luxurious space. The decoration is wonderful, and the best of Western antiques and Japanese old houses are matched. It was an inn that I would recommend to adults who like interiors.

This is a lovely home in Takayama that is a perfect to explore traditional Japanese interiors and lifestyle elements. House is located within a 10 minute walk to the central area. Location is perfect. House was spacious and comfortable for 2 night stand. Kitchen had basics we needed for cooking breakfast or eating dinner. I loved the bathtub in this house, as it was very comfortable. Interior design, traditional details and minimal accents everything made our stay a great at to experience local culture. Two important issues that we faced: 1. Instructions to navigate the house were not present, and it was hard to understand the ways around it (entrance doors, navigating doors inside, water heating, replacing kerosine in indoor heaters). 2. There are not closets or storage for clothes. So be ready to keep everything in your suitcase, which was something unexpected.

It is a very beautiful house. The environment was impeccably clean, and the house was kept tidy. The host was incredibly helpful, providing great suggestions for nearby restaurants that enhanced our dining experiences. The breakfast was truly amazing. The house is a traditional Japanese style, featuring an incredible garden that adds to its cultural charm. Additionally, there is free parking available right outside, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to stay. The cleanliness of the house, the warmth of the host, and the delightful breakfast all contributed to a wonderful trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Shinnosuke’s home! The interior design was absolutely stunning—every detail, from the tasteful lighting to the premium furnishings, surpassed our expectations and looked even better than the photos. The bath house was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of walking, and the overall atmosphere was incredibly calming and refined. The location was ideal—right in the heart of historic Takayama—making it easy to explore the town’s charm on foot. We truly loved our time here!
