The best location surrounded by nature!It is also very good to be able to dive into a beautiful river after the sauna.We had a very good time with 5 friends. The manager was also very friendly and helpful in preparing the barbecue, and preparing the sauna, which was very helpful.This is a place I definitely want to stay again.It is especially recommended if you want to relax and feel nature.Take your time.

Very friendly host! Super responsive and gave local recommendations. The stay is also quite good - the living room is really cute. Only issue was the bathroom door downstairs is a little broken because the door knob wasn’t functioning and you could lock ourselves out. But Mickey was super helpful and we got it resolved.

The traditional Japanese house is framed by lush greenery and natural landscapes. A wooden fence surrounds the property, with steps leading to the entrance. The structure features a characteristic tiled roof and large windows, inviting ample light into the interior.

This was a great stay. We had a car so it was easy to get to Old town and also out of town for the key areas. The space was large and liked the auto entry keypad. Highly recommend for families or large groups! The Old Town is beautiful and food is great.

New and nice house. Detailed design and good lighting in the house. Provides Muji’s shampoo and body wash which very nice to use. The house is just beside the river and can enjoy Sakura view from the balcony. Walkable distance to all major spots like the morning market and temples. Love the environment and also provide free parking in front of the house. Host also fast responding and provide very clear instruction for check in. Definitely will comeback again.

We had a great stay for 2 nights. We could access the room 3 hours before and received a wonderful apple tart as welcoming present. The host were very nice and pleasant and did their best to make our stay as great as possible. We even received help to rent a car and received great visiting tips. We highly recommend this place. We had 2 nights, dining in the place, feeling entirely at home in this wooden and warm environment. Surely our best place during our vacation in Japan.

Love the location, the fireplace, the spaciousness, the outdoor garden and the beautiful shrine next to the house. The 2 slopes up to the house and the stairs are pretty steep especially with luggage but this was communicated in the description so as expected. We made some really delicious meals in the house by buying Hida beef and other groceries from Boss Foods Market. Aki was also so friendly and accommodating! Thanks for the great stay!

I was very impressed with this inn, where everything was done with great care. The cleaning was thorough, and there were many dishes that could be used, not just white functional ones, but like a restaurant, there were many dishes that could enhance the meal. There are two terraces, one that has an open-air bath and is connected to the living room, and a second floor terrace along the river that is great during cherry blossom season. Neither could be used in winter, but it was a luxurious space. The decoration is wonderful, and the best of Western antiques and Japanese old houses are matched. It was an inn that I would recommend to adults who like interiors.

The best airbnb I have ever stayed in. We arrived at the Lounge for check-in and was greeted by the friendly staff and offered yummy snacks. The staff then drove us to the house and provided a thorough rundown of everything. We also tried out the spa services, paired with the bath and sauna inside the house made the most perfect and relaxing night. Such a convenient location where everything was in walkable distance.

Wat Resort has the most perfect location! It is wonderful for a group of friends with a large communal area to socialise in, spacious bedrooms and a gorgeous and well equipped kitchen area. We absolutely loved our stay here. You re right in the center of everything and everyting is walking distance. Takayama has a village ‘feel’ to it and is enchanting during springtime. Will return in a heartbeat!

Located next to Miyagawa, cherry blossoms are in full bloom on both banks, leisurely strolls in the morning and evening, Miyagawa morning market is just a few steps away, the old town is also within walking distance, the house is very beautiful and elegant, the host is very friendly, we had a very happy two-day holiday
