Il faut une voiture pour rejoindre la maison mais une fois sur place, l'endroit est idéal pour relaxer au son de la rivière ! Logement très bien équipé et à proximité de Takayama.

We had a great stay for 2 nights. We could access the room 3 hours before and received a wonderful apple tart as welcoming present. The host were very nice and pleasant and did their best to make our stay as great as possible. We even received help to rent a car and received great visiting tips. We highly recommend this place. We had 2 nights, dining in the place, feeling entirely at home in this wooden and warm environment. Surely our best place during our vacation in Japan.

Hiro is een hele vriendelijke, snel reagerende en attente host. Onze aankomsttijd was een paar uur verlaat en dit was geen enkel probleem, we werden nog steeds persoonlijk welkom geheten. Eenmaal in het appartement waren alle verzieningen zoals beloofd en vooral het bad en de authentieke inrichting maakte ons verblijf een geweldige ervaring. Daarnaast had Hiro veel leuke lokale tips. Van harte aanbevolen!

自然に囲まれてロケーション最高！サウナ後に綺麗な川にダイブできるのも凄く良いです。友達5人とすごく楽しい時間を満喫できました。管理人の方もとても接しやすくバーベキューの準備の手伝い、サウナの準備などもやってくれてとても助かりました。また必ず利用したい場所です。ゆっくり自然を感じたい方は特におすすめです。ではごゆっくり。

Love the location, the fireplace, the spaciousness, the outdoor garden and the beautiful shrine next to the house. The 2 slopes up to the house and the stairs are pretty steep especially with luggage but this was communicated in the description so as expected. We made some really delicious meals in the house by buying Hida beef and other groceries from Boss Foods Market. Aki was also so friendly and accommodating! Thanks for the great stay!

全てにこだわり抜いた宿で、大変感動いたしました。清掃が行き届いていますし、使用できるお皿がよくある白の機能的なものではなく、料亭のようで、食事を引き立たせるものを多く取り揃えてありました。テラスが２つあり、リビングから続きの露天風呂が備わったテラスと桜の時期が楽しみの川沿いの2Fテラスです。どちらも冬なので使用できませんでしたが、贅沢空間です。しつらえが素晴らしく、西洋アンティークと日本の古民家の良さがマッチングしています。インテリア好き、大人の方々におすすめしたい宿でした。

Peaceful and tranquil location. Not much within walking distance, so a car is a must. The house was nicely furnished with a full kitchen. As described, the second bedroom is tatami with futons. Our kids did fine, but may not be ideal for adults. Host was very responsive and we enjoyed the stay.

The best airbnb I have ever stayed in. We arrived at the Lounge for check-in and was greeted by the friendly staff and offered yummy snacks. The staff then drove us to the house and provided a thorough rundown of everything. We also tried out the spa services, paired with the bath and sauna inside the house made the most perfect and relaxing night. Such a convenient location where everything was in walkable distance.

Very friendly host! Super responsive and gave local recommendations. The stay is also quite good - the living room is really cute. Only issue was the bathroom door downstairs is a little broken because the door knob wasn’t functioning and you could lock ourselves out. But Mickey was super helpful and we got it resolved.

I was very impressed with the accommodation and the service of the host. It was a wonderful memory for my family.

The house looked exactly like the photos. It is newly refurbished and very clean. The host was super friendly that we were given a room tour and food recommendations. It was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this place to any of you who wants to experience living in a traditional Japanese-style home at reasonable price.

A bright common area features exposed wooden beams and a low table with seating around it. A traditional irori fireplace is centered within the room, while two chairs sit beside large windows that look out to a landscaped outdoor space.

Wat Resort has the most perfect location! It is wonderful for a group of friends with a large communal area to socialise in, spacious bedrooms and a gorgeous and well equipped kitchen area. We absolutely loved our stay here. You re right in the center of everything and everyting is walking distance. Takayama has a village ‘feel’ to it and is enchanting during springtime. Will return in a heartbeat!
