When you go out from the window to the terrace, you can see the sky and sea spreading out from the sea.You can luxuriously feel the comfortable breeze and sky flowing slowly in the jacuzzi and hammock swing. From the terrace, go up one more flight of stairs to the sky deck.There is only nature as far as the eye can see.The breathtaking scenery spreads out. Limited to one group per day, Mökki is a small cottage with a garden by a stream

Mökki means “cottage” in Nordic Finnish. Please spend your time as you like in a special space that is detached from your daily routine. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho in northern Nagano Prefecture, blessed with forests, lakes and snow. Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
