Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Gifu

It was very clean and the room smelled nice. It's a shame there wasn't a record player, but we had a good time! I would like to use another building if I have the opportunity.

I was very happy with the camping goods and everything else!If I had the chance, I would use it again!

It is a very nice house. It is a bit noisy due to the nearly road and train tracks during the day, but it wasn’t too bad during the night. Definitely rent a car if you want to stay here, or get taxis to go into town, since the station is a good walk away. Once you get a car, accessing the mountains is a breeze and traffic is quite low. The host was amazing. She picked us up from the train station on arrival and dropped us off at the train station when we left. She also brought over some more bedding during our stay. I highly recommend this place, just be aware that if you are a light sleeper, you might not enjoy staying here. Overall it was in the right location to get a taxi into Inuyama to interact with the locals, and then drive around in the mountains.

The accommodation is a combination of traditional and modern Japanese living and is very unique in many ways. Highly recommended.

Landhouse is very tidy, spacious, and fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom.But the bathroom has no heating, and it's colder in winter.The kitchen also has hot pot cooking utensils.Suitable for a family hotpot.There are two single beds downstairs.The sofa is longer and will block access and become cramped.The space on the second floor is large, with two double beds and a tatami space that can accommodate 4 people. The location of the house is more peaceful at night, there are no restaurants around, there is a Lawson about 8-10 minutes on foot! 15-20 minutes from downtown Sakae or Nagoya station mainland. Suitable for self-driving people. Tip: Hosts should add an extra power strip.The hot pot power cord is relatively short. Overall, I recommend staying.(From Hong Kong🇭🇰)

It's beautiful and has a calm atmosphere. It was a great place to stay and forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The parking lot is large enough for two station wagons. It's hard to find on Google Maps, but There was a guide with photos, and the host was polite in their messages, so I was able to get there without getting lost. Be careful if you are driving a large car as you will be going through some narrow roads. We used it with 6 adults, but the living room was spacious and we had a comfortable stay watching Netflix and YouTube on the projector. The kitchen is also spacious and has basic cooking utensils, so you can cook for a large number of people.(Frying pan, clay pot, rice cooker, dishes, chopsticks, cutting board, knives) There are no condiments, so you'll need to buy them at a nearby supermarket.(There is a Kakan supermarket about 5 minutes away by car) There were basic amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, cotton swabs, shaving, lotion, cleansing, and facial cleanser, so it was helpful not to have to bring them. The windows had shutters and some parts were difficult to open. It seemed like you could use the Nintendo Switch in the living room, but I couldn't find the main unit.(You may need to bring the main unit or reserve it in advance) I left something behind, but I was contacted immediately after checkout and they handled it.The polite service was very helpful. I don't get the chance to go to Gifu often, but I'd love to stay again.

Great place to stay with lots of brilliant bars and restaurants nearby. Parking was a little tricky, one night we had free parking and the next day the space was taken and we had to pay for local parking (which was very easy). This place was perfect for our 2 night stay in Takayama.

Wonderful living accommodation with lots of space available. Beds are extremely comfortable.

Great place to gather with the vast majority and very satisfied! We also saw a little fireflies at night, so it was a good summer memory. In the summer, there is almost absolutely an insect repellent set.

The host is extremely friendly and even gave us an Omiyage (Japanese tradition of gift giving). We hadn’t expected this and felt rude not having something to offer in return. He didn’t seem to take it amiss. We slept very well on the traditional style futons. You could have a very nice stay here in this large residence. Just keep in mind the toilet is a squat toilet, not a traditional western toilet and the bathroom (shower/bath) is in another building. If you are looking for helpful tips in the area and seeking a traditional/authentic feeling in the place you stay, I highly recommend!

We brought 5 children with us, but we relaxed.The combination of the curve of the old house and the design of Japanese paper is excellent, and the phone's shutter sound will continue to sound for a while after you arrive.It is a village in the mountains, but there is also a sense of security because there is a friendly manager.

Super nice host and the apartment is very clean. It's only a few minutes walk from the station with a well-equipped neighbourhood.

It was great to stay with 8 friends! I enjoyed a variety of things, including a barbecue, mahjong table, and poker.Full amenities were provided, and there was a system for purchasing anything that was missing, which was great.The host was also very friendly. However, the surrounding roads are narrow and quite steep, so you may need to be careful with large cars.

Very pretty scenery all around the home. The home is in a very remote location, and I didn’t have a car, so I was nervous. But the host was very kind and always willing to take me to see the local sights or get groceries. Thanks for a great stay!

This is my 4th time staying at にゃん’s. Whenever I am in Nagoya, I know that I can feel at home here. As soon as I walk in, it does feel like coming home. In the 5 years I’ve been coming here (it would’ve been more, but as you all know, COVID wrecked the world’s travel plans), not much has changed. It’s a reliable, quiet place to come back to after sightseeing or even to make a home base for day trips to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Gifu, Mie, even as far as Fukuoka (wake up early for this!). As much as I love the apartment, the standout highlight is still the host, にゃん. When I couldn’t figure out something, or got lost wandering sightseeing, they were there to help. From the moment you become their guest, they want to make sure you have the best experience of Japan possible. Treat にゃん well, because they will treat you well. The epitome of “omotenashi” — the Japanese tradition of hospitality.

From the first, our hosts were helpful and very responsive to all of our questions. The location was walkable and conveniently located to shops and transportation making it an ideal place to explore not only Nagoya but surrounding areas and cities. As soon as we opened the door to their condo it felt like home, warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this as a perfect place to stay while visiting Nagoya.

Lovey stay! The food was excellent and they were very kind. I was sick one day and they picked up medicine and made me a meal for sickness. So great!
