Highly recommend, beautiful cottage. Very nice to stay in a half-timbered cottage. Great place to be with sun, rain and cold. The photos give a good idea of what to expect. The cottage is nice and quiet, with the unobstructed view over the fields. Ideal location also with the dog. The owners are very kind and take good care of you.

We were allowed to spend our short vacation in Yvonne's beautiful apartment in the countryside. Right when we entered the apartment(upper floor), the great view of fields, pond and stream carved us from the socks. The apartment is great, suitable for up to 4 people. The spa area in the basement is well equipped and invites you to linger. We felt very comfortable here and would be happy to come back. Requests were responded to immediately and offered help. There is plenty to do and discover in the area. Great holiday, thanks a lot:-)

We had a wonderful weekend in the apartment Kamineich! The apartment is well equipped. The apartment was also super equipped for small children. Communication was quick and friendly, everything fit and the apartment is beautifully decorated. There was also free entrance to the Sababurg Zoo via the apartment, which is only 15 minutes away and a visit is highly recommended. Clear recommendation!

We had a really great time! The house is in the village of Bontkirchen, just outside the city of Brilon. Pros: - The place is very spacious! Bedrooms large and shutters for the windows so it is really very dark in the bedroom. - The house has a wood burning stove. Wood can be picked up at the Rewe supermarket in Willingen. - It is about 12 minutes by car from Willingen and 45 minutes from Winterberg. Great to drive in this beautiful area. - In the village there is 1 restaurant, Gasthof Metten, which is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Great food for a very good price! We were there for hiking and snowboarding. There was a lot of snow which made it even more beautiful for us. Many and beautiful hiking trails. Willingen and Winterberg are easy to reach. Roads good and quiet (we were outside the holidays) Skipas Willingen 40 euros, Winterberg 49 euros for a day. We would definitely book this house again if we were to go back to Sauerland!

We were guests for a weekend. Alan was super friendly and briefly instructed us in everything. Everything was prepared. From the bed to the fireplace and sauna wood. The lodge was even preheated at our request. Communication with the hosts was possible at any time, and short and understandable. Really great. The lodge itself is a little gem where you can feel comfortable and you can't help but relax. Even though we were here in January, the property is very nice and usable. The outside temperatures were not a problem, as the fireplace did a good job, and the bathroom was well insulated and heated. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely stop by again.

It is a dreamy place to stay. Very quiet, very nice, very private, very relaxing. The apartment is fantastically furnished, the kitchen and bathroom are very spacious and very well appointed. Helen's mum welcomed us. She is a friendly woman who explained everything and was always immediately available for questions. It's important to mention the garden. This is huge and invites you to exhale and recharge. There are three hiking trails on the doorstep. I'd love to come back. These four days at Helen's place were amazing! Thank you!

Beautiful log cabin in a large garden and through the fireplace it is really cozy in the evening. The kitchen is quite well equipped, in case you like to cook yourself. Only one pan was missing. Corinna was very friendly and uncomplicated.

We felt very comfortable at the place. The rooms are much bigger than expected. The special highlight for us was the sauna in the bedroom. The bed is great. We didn't need the beautiful fireplace in the living room. The sofa is totally cozy. The kitchen is well equipped. All in all we had a great stay in Bad Arolsen with proximity to the Twistesee. Sebastian is a friendly and helpful host. We will be happy to come back

Silke's little house is fantastic :) The location is quiet and you are right in the countryside. Everything you need for a short break is there, the kitchen is also well equipped. In good weather, we were allowed to get the sun loungers from the garden shed and tan on the beautiful terrace 😁 Silke was available at all times and gave us a lot of good tips and walking paths for the area. She was really very friendly and nice to us at all times. We felt really comfortable! Therefore 6/5 stars! 😊

We stayed at the nest with our smaller kids and had a wonderful time. Surrounded by the forest is this cute cabin. There is actually everything you need including a comprehensive CD and DVD collection :) we especially enjoyed the great property and the connection to the nature reserve. Our excursions: Externsteine, safari park, hiking route on the "small Amazon", hike in the adjacent forest (night hike with wild sighting :)). There is definitely enough to discover for another week :) The people in the area were very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back!

It was a great stay with very friendly hosts! You immediately felt at home. For a family with kids, a perfect place to relax in a great environment. The two dogs are very trusting and were the highlight for our children. Rainer and his family were very welcoming and treated us like friends, which was a great addition for us. The apartment was much more spacious than we had imagined and is very comfortably furnished. The outdoor area is also designed with a lot of love for details. We will definitely visit again!

It was really great here a super nice house and everything was actually even more complete and beautiful than in the pictures and the description .( there were 3 wc,s while in the photo,s only see 1 and 2 baths and several showers . Lots of toys for kids but also nice Games for the parents are provided . And if we asked the host, we got an answer in no time. So definitely recommended go there again.

A fantastic, magical, cozy place to stay that we can fully recommend!! We were allowed to spend a family weekend here. It was wonderful for EVERYONE despite the age range of 16-82 years. In reality, the rooms are even nicer than in the photos. Even in the darker season it is very cozy here. The view of the castle is the icing on the cake. Contact with Anna was excellent. Thanks for the wonderful time here!

It was really very nice and quiet! A well-equipped kitchen and a great living room that invites you to a game night together. The house is very clean and well lit. The terrace is very nice and the dogs were also able to romp around!

Great apartment in perfect location. We were on site with two dogs. You could go for a great walk, right outside the front door. The apartment itself was bigger than in the photos. Plenty of space for four and two dogs. The landlady was very nice - she did not disturb our dog bark either. The neighbourhood was also nice. If you like to pet cows, roosters crow and do pigeons are just as right here as people who want to explore the area around the Teutoburg Forest. 110% recommended.
