Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Southern United States

Beautiful and very comfortable place, the owners made us feel very welcome. Probably one of our best AirBnBs we stay ed in!

Overall very clean and well-maintained house with plenty of space. Host was also very thorough with instructions making check-in and check-out very smooth.

Absolutely phenomenal! This place is the gold standard for a well equipped and maintained airbnb. Everything you could need as well as a communicative host, great local recommendations, and very comfortable beds. If I am back in the area, this will be the first place I look for.

I don’t know where to start. We were excited to stay at Karen’s place but the pictures don’t do it justice. The decor and detail that went into this space were thoughtful, cute and fun! My son loved the games and outdoor play items, both of our boys loved playing outside and enjoyed that they could use both the front and back yard freely. The honeysuckle and s'more's stood out to our oldest kiddo! I loved that one room could easily accommodate 3/4 people and although there were two rooms we opted to use one. My son wanted a family slumber party and it was super special in our stay. Karen offered us her membership to the Science Museum and although we didn’t have time to use it we thought it was above and beyond. We always appreciate when there is a washer/dryer and these were easy to use and functional. Provided was filtered water, some bottled water, oatmeal, popcorn and some fresh cookies-all of which were welcome and appreciated! These hosts have thought of it all. Highly recommend.

Very peaceful neighborhood. Room to cook, relax, enjoy the backyard and more. We had six guests stay and had plenty of room without feeling cramped! Would book again.

I have never stayed at a more well stocked rental. If you forgot anything, no worries, she probably has it in the house! Joan left some very thoughtful, personal touches like having the heated blanket turned on for me when I arrived, a bowl of treats, etc. My favorite part is a tie between the gorgeous claw foot soaking tub which I used every night, and the beautiful view of the mountains from a large picture window. The location was really beautiful, and had a grocery store and multiple gas stations within a few miles of the house. The only thing that kept it from being perfect, was the spotty wifi, which is understandable in the mountains, but all the lighting was hooked to Google, so Google either didn't understand, or the wifi kept failing for the commands. It just seemed it took 5x as long to turn on a lamp, than simply turning the switch. I ended up unhooking the one in the bedroom during my stay. I would highly recommend this rental, and Joan is an amazing host.

Our stay was wonderful!

This was a great place for my husband and I to stay with the kids. There was plenty of space for us in the apartment and lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. It was also an easy drive to get to Hersheypark and Gettysburg too! We would definitely stay here again!

You will not be disappointed with this RB&B. With all accommodations, cleanliness, and the location of open space along the mountain range, and only miles away from the highway made it easy access to the mountains, or the Denver area. There is a park you can walk to with trails along the front range that go for miles. This location offers incredible views of the mountains that go on forever. Moreover, the host had excellent communication from start to finish that made our experience comfortable and enjoyable. This RB&B was a fantastic experience frim start to finish.

The place was clean and cute and very close to go into town. Definitely would stay in the cabin again.

LOVED this little cabin in the woods. It was quiet and cozy and had everything I needed for a little writing weekend in the woods. Would love to stay here again when I visit WP again.

Melodie's place is a slice of heaven if you're looking for a peaceful hobby farm retreat. Around every corner were new discoveries whether the beauty of the landscape or the animals in their various living spaces around the property (horses, cows, chickens, couple friendly cats, and sweet welcoming dog Shelby). If you have time for a walk to the woods you'll be treated to a bubbling brook w a bench beside it for some contemplative time, not to mention flowers to gaze at all along way. We hadn't really been aware of the sauna (maybe it's in the listing and we missed it) but it's an incredible treat if you can find time one evening to check it out. There's even more than the exterior beauty and sauna treat, but I'll let you discover some surprises on your own. Ideally, you'll spend several days so you can take it all in. Melodie's family incl husband + kids were so nice + made us feel at home. Our stay was A+++ and we hope to return. Worth driving a little farther for this GEM.

Tony and Barb's place was perfect for my overnight stay. I loved sitting outside in the screened in porch while sipping my wine. I would definitely stay there again and since it's a fully furnished 1 bedroom apt, I would book a longer stay as well.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was spotless, quiet, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—close enough to explore Lexington, Berea, and Red River Gorge, yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. We especially enjoyed being able to walk to downtown restaurants like Millstone Social, Apollo's Pizza, and Purdy's Coffee. Everything was exactly as described, and we truly felt at home. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area!

Wonderful villa with incredible views we enjoyed daily. Kitchen was impressively stocked! Large bedrooms with plenty of towels and toiletries. Enjoyed the pool also. We always feel Bishop's Lodge area is secure and very private, yet easy access to everything Santa Fe has to offer! A Vacation Different communicated VERY well and always quickly and kindly responded to our needs and questions--loved working with them!

We enjoyed our staycation here. It’s only a 40 min from our house in Austin but it was a great getaway. We were very comfortable. The design of the villas is really nice (friends came over for a swim and they complimented the space) and we enjoyed the views of Hill Country and the pool from the balconies. The stars were more visible than what we’re used to. We brought our 4 mo old puppy and was easily able to entertain him. There’s lots of open grass and a dog potty area. We really wanted a place where we could teach our dog to swim. But no pets are allowed in the pool. Also the listing says a 9 min walk to the lake, but when asked, the property owners said it’s not walkable and that it is a feature Airbnb automatically puts on the listing. So just be aware if that’s of interest. I was told by someone that you can drive to a beach and swim with your dog close by. The Internet isn’t great. TV shows buffered. But we were able to check email, do a video call n watch streaming movies.

This is our second time staying at Lia’s Villa’s. It is a beautiful retreat and very private. It is only 9 minutes from TIEC if you’re coming for horse related activities!

This was not only an incredible house, but Kyle was also an amazing host. He was extremely responsive and genuinely cared about our stay. We can’t stop raving about how lovely this place was—gorgeous views, cozy cabin vibes, peaceful, and private. We’d definitely come back.

Great place to stay for a long weekend. We had a lot of golf planned and this place was right in the heart of all the best courses around. Very nice setup and spotless. Would definitely recommend.

Eric was a wonderful host. Directions were very clear and understanding. Although the thermostat is split , Eric was very understanding an adjusted as needed. Great location and get away spot for couples. Very quiet and secured . We will definitely come back!

We came to Villa Blanco to celebrate my son’s birthday and for a long weekend getaway. This was such a lovely home and location. We were able to cook, enjoy the pool, host-provided games and walks/hikes near the property. We loved visiting the local horses and bringing them apples. We had a fun dance party with the Bluetooth speakers. And truly just enjoyed family and togetherness. This is a perfect property with all kinds of amenities. I 100% recommend. If you’re assessing properties, look no further. This is it.

Fantastic remote home with fantastic hiking right on the property and great views of the stars! Well appointed home had pretty much everything you need (if you stay at many rentals you know kitchen items may be sparse - not this one!). This is a remote location so you definitely need a high profile vehicle or you will high center. Strongly suggest arriving when the sun is up it will make it much easier! The host provides videos which you need to watch beforehand. Starlink worked great. Could definitely work as a remote work/play getaway. Felt like I was cheating as the hike to an awesome peak is right out the back door. Incredible views and we got some great pictures. Fantastic memories will be back!
