Treehouse vacation rentals in Southern United States

I took a group of teenagers to the treehouse for my son 16th birthday. It was perfect as I had my own bedroom and they got to stay together. There was lots for them to do but also a great time to unplug and just spend quality time together and not stay on their phones like they usually do.

Was an amazing place to stay. The view was awesome.

My family and pups had a wonderful evening exploring and seeing all the wildlife. The cabin was clean and cozy. The only thing we wished was to have more time here. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved staying in this unique house with my family! The mountain roads to get there could be a little intimidating for someone who has never really driven in the mountains before (I’m originally from FL), but you can adapt quickly. The bed upstairs was ridiculously comfortable, the house was clean, the area was very peaceful/quiet, and you’re fairly close to everything. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a great time in the Pete Nelson treehouse. The treehouse had everything we needed and more. We had a great time exploring the grounds, had a delicious dinner in quaint, nearby Maysville, and relaxed in the evening watching a movie on the projector screen! The bed was very comfortable and our daughter slept very soundly on the couch downstairs 😊. This was a perfect little getaway—thank you!

The tree house is so cute and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The weather wasn't on our side the majority of our stay but we made the most of it. Ended up with one non rainy day and rented a pontoon to get out on the lake which was beautiful.

Since booking, I’ve dreamed of morning coffee on the porch. My expectations were exceeded, as I was joined by a hummingbird. The treehouse is so accommodating and hosts are especially gracious. From the time of booking to the stay filled with extra amenities, it’s perfect!

Absolutely beautiful, serene and private home! Perfect for my husband and I. Very clean and had everything needed. Would definitely stay again to enjoy the peace… outdoor fire pit area, comfy swing and chairs and overall outdoor activities nearby at Red River Gorge. Miguel’s Pizza was a hit too as well as the Daniel Boone Coffee Shop. Thank you for hosting us!

This was my first trip to the mountains with my girlfriend. Molly made it an unforgettable time, I really appreciate what she has here for us to enjoy. Word of advice for anyone staying here, beware of rain in the forecast. We were unfortunately rained upon on our stay, this made it difficult cooking as there is only a grill outside for cooking. No fault to anyone, just something to be aware of. I would definitely come back here, you cannot beat the view 🤙

We loved our stay at this peaceful spot! So quiet and relaxing, the bed was super comfy, linens were nice, everything was clean and inviting. Our host was friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home, just wish we could have stayed longer! If you need a break from the noise of everyday life, this is the spot!

Was a secluded getaway that was only 15 minutes away from tons of fun activities.

Absolutely perfect stay! It is in a great central location for different “touristy” places like Broken Bow, Ok, and Crater of Diamonds State Park with a peaceful stay. We felt close enough to everything without fighting all the crowds. And, the house itself…pristine and peaceful! The hosts provided a place where it was obvious that they were intentional to every nook and cranny. From walking through the door in day one to locking it behind us in day five, the stay was perfection. Don’t hesitate! Book this place before I tell all my friends about it and the calendar is full!😉

A HUGE thanks to Dan for the opportunity to stay at his treehouse! My wife and I had just gotten married and were looking for a fun little place to travel to outside of town... This was just the place! It was very cozy and private all things considered. Dan made us feel right at home and gave us plenty of recommendations of things to do in town during our stay. BONUS! If you thunderstorms roll through during your stay here, it's quite the experience in the treehouse! Such a fun place! Many thanks and blessings to you Dan!

What a great experience, my son absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave.

My husband and I had a wonderful & magical experience at the Alpaca Treehouse in the Bamboo Forest! We were celebrating our 10th anniversary, and our love story began with the help of an alpaca, so this was a very providential stay for our celebration! We were greeted at the gate by Zara, the Llama, and she, along with several other llamas & an alpaca, graciously walked us to the entrance of the Bamboo forest and the stairs of the mystical treehouse. It was a breathtaking experience to be accompanied by this welcoming herd! Illuminated by glowing lights, we continued our adventure up the stairs and strolled around the wrap-around porch to relish this awe-inspiring architecture surrounded by the scenic bamboo woodland! Inside was equally impressive, and we appreciated the attention to detail in the interior design and the history of the stained glass and details in both the loft and the entrance level! Zara greeted us again for the evening and morning swing! We plan on coming back!

A beautiful spot to get away for the weekend and enjoy everything that nature has to provide. It’s a spot that I would definitely revisit and take advantage of things I didn’t get to this time around.

Just checked out today and I’m already telling all my friends they need to stay here! The small cabin was the perfect peaceful retreat. Directions about the property were clear and so was the beautiful creek water :) can’t wait to visit again!

Love staying here with our pup. The wrap around porch lets her keep an eye on everything lol. Very clean and nice amenities. Some of their coffee and mimosas on the porch in the morning can’t be beat. Nice fire pit for evenings visiting with friends and family. Tranquil

This yurt was perfect for a weekend getaway. Our favorite part was drinking coffee on the porch with the beautiful mountain view. Our first evening it was raining and it was so cozy listening to the rain in the yurt. I enjoyed seeing the sky from the inside of the yurt. There was so much to do and the drive was not far. We will definitely be coming back for longer next time!

Greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of spots to sit, relax and look at the view. Especially loved the screened in porch. Food delivery can be tricky for drivers to find, be clear with instructions for them. Would definitely stay again.

Jake is an awesome host. He was in contact a few days before our reservation with local recommendations and all the details we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the intimacy of the treehouse. It’s far enough away from the other cabins that we felt like we had the woods all to ourselves. All of the quirky elements of this house fit together perfectly, and it was clear that a great amount of thought and care were put into its creation. As locals, we loved reading about how parts of the treehouse were repurposed from our historic town. There were plenty of activities provided in and around the treehouse, but our favorite part was relaxing and enjoying the sound of the rain on the trees.

An absolute wonderful stay! The view is even better than pictured and the ambiance was everything. Clean and beautiful as pictured. Host was very responsive and proactive! Loved this bnb and know others will fall in love too!
