Dome vacation rentals in Southern United States

House has a very interesting design/architecture - dome. Kids had a great time playing outside and the adults felt safe without being outside with them. There’s a small creek near the kitchen which made it very enjoyable to cook while hearing the water run down. The house had a lot of space for 3 families which could be easily add in another family of 4-5. Will definitely come back to this place if I’m ever in Taos again!

I live locally, but had guests in town and needed more space. I found my Goto from now on. What a gorgeous home, and a stunning location. The amenities were top-notch, and it was so well appointed, in such a thoughtful way -and with little notes if you need help figuring out how to work something! Thank you, Ellyn, for opening up your home like this for others to experience to experience.

A nice place to stay while near Golden or for a Red Rocks visit. Hot tub was great, shower nice and hot, everything clean. May want to avoid if you have trouble with steps or drops, as there are quite a few.

Marcia was extremely kind and helpful. Our group showed up much later than check in due to unforseen issues driving from four hours away but Marcia did answer a late phone call and was so kind as to wait up for us- she really didn't have to but she did. She was extremely polite and helpful and even gifted us homemade muffins. 😊 We definitely recommend her for a stay!

Just another great experience at Jeffrey's place! I have already recommended this estate to my friends. We will continue to keep Jeffrey in our priority checklist as a host when visiting locations around Buena Vista area! Thank you, Jeff!

Within the first five minutes at the Domes we knew we were going to love the place, and we did! We are already planning a return trip with some friends. If you like nature and being away from crowds, this is the place to be. The hikes are great, birdwatching is fantastic, and the stargazing is unparalleled. Turning off all the lights, I was able to get my first good view of the Milky Way! Getting to the place is a little adventurous, and it's kinda remote, so you'll want to bring essentials. Having said that, the remoteness and adventure are a huge plus in my book. Added bonus: there is a very friendly (and dusty) cat that likes to hang out with you. If you've never gazed at the stars with a cat in your lap, you're missing out.

If you're visiting the Shawnee National Forest or just looking for some peaceful time in nature, this is the perfect spot to recharge! The experience is truly unique — even as someone who doesn’t usually camp, I was completely impressed with the dome. Kyle clearly put a lot of thought into every detail, from the layout and site to ensuring guest comfort. I loved the beautiful surroundings, the cozy dome itself, and little touches like the luggage cart at the end of the drive. Plus, the s'mores packet was such a fun and thoughtful addition, perfect for enjoying a movie out on the deck. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would! Thank you for such a wonderful experience — I’m already looking forward to my next glamping adventure!

What a unique place to stay! The inside was really cool! It had everything we needed and then some. Hot tub was an added bonus. Jessica was very helpful with recommendations. We loved staying here!

Chelsey’s place was the picture perfect place for our vacation. The mountain views were absolutely incredible and the dome was nice and cozy. We went for a birthday trip and Chelsey provided a wonderful set up for my wife’s birthday. Definitely recommend this place!

Such a beautiful property, romantic dome with a gorgeous view. Loved the hot tub and the fire pit. Soft bed, beautiful shower, cute kitchenette. All the farm animals roaming around the property added to the magic. The hosts were amazing, making the experience unique, with excellent service and special touches. Great restaurants within 5-20 minutes away. Shenandoah National Park within an hour away. We even got a couples’ massage nearby, in Culpeper, about 25 minutes away. Great experience and romantic getaway.

Overall it was very nice and peaceful my wife and I experienced some good bonding time and the quiet that was just for us was beautiful. We know and understand it’s “glamping” but a couple of spiderwebs in the top corners of the ceiling were seen and as we were in bed a spider came down through it’s spider web and another came from the actual bed once we were getting ready to sleep. In my opinion it’s a little pricey to the amount of time we spent there but it was relaxing. Wished that there was a couple more activities to do for the price that was paid. Like some yoga near by or something. The photos perfectly described the place. We will return to their other options but more than likely not to the dome.

Very lovely place to stay for a weekend or longer. The view is amazing and the A/C and heat keep it comfortable even though the dome is like a lantern in the day. Would recommend staying here if you enjoy the mountains.

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! Our generator went out and Eva was so quick and helpful to get it recharged and set up for the night. The dome was beautifully set up and it was super easy to find/access everything. My 7 month old loved it! I 100% recommend and we will definitely be back next year.

This place was truly a hidden gem! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. We had an amazing time at the river and honestly didn’t want to leave. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The hosts were kind and welcoming—I can’t thank them enough for sharing this little slice of paradise. I’ve already had tons of people asking me where this Airbnb is, and I’ll definitely be spreading the word. I’ll be booking again before summer’s over. Highly recommend!

Amazing adventure- very family friendly! Lots of toys, games and outdoor fun!

Staying at the “Dome away from Home” was prefect! It rained the whole trip but that only added to the peacefulness of the place! It was clean and cozy, with everything we needed to make some simple meals and enjoy staying in. The location was so beautiful with an amazing view. The deck was secluded and private with the hot tub. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions. We would love to go back!!

Staying at Capricorn dome at falling starts was an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect peaceful getaway we were looking for, we loved listening to the birds on the large comfortable deck and watching the turkeys graze through the hillside. The hot tub was a nice touch and felt amazing after paddle boarding all day. The dome felt like a luxury retreat with the cozy interior and all of the thoughtful amenities. Thanks for having us and we hope to return!

Very beautiful location and gorgeous place to stay! Loved the trails and outdoor shower! We did lose power for a couple hours on the last night there, but they were very responsive and we were able to make the best of it playing games around flashlights! We hope to come back one day!

If you’re questioning staying here, the answer is yes!! The dome is incredible! The decor is modern and you feel relaxed as soon as you step inside! The view of nature is beautiful! I enjoyed the hot tub under the stars every night! Allison is a great host and has all the info you need as soon as you book! She is also quick to respond! We will be back!!
