Vacation rentals with breakfast in Southern Europe

There are no words to describe the kindness and helpfulness of Mrs. Maria Teresa; a wonderful creature who loves animals as most people should. The property is absolutely perfect for what my needs were. Very clean, very comfortable mattresses, complete with everything you needed (from detergent to extra virgin olive oil made by them), including a beach umbrella, beach towels and even new slippers for the whole family. What can I say, people should take an example from this girl on how to run a B&B. I hope to return soon. 💛

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

Very lovely place and host

Stunning apartment attached to the main house in the stonewall hamlet of Scala. Gorgeous location. If you have a short stay, would recommend packing light because the stairs down to the dwelling and through the hamlet are impressive! Incredibly peaceful with a magical view, and the hosts are so kind and welcoming. Delicious breakfast in the garden and great recommendations for where to go and what to see. Such a treat - highly recommend.

The guard tower in the wall is a romantic Tuscan dream. The small town is tiny and calm. We had some trouble with Wi-Fi during our stay and never could really get it going for more than a few minutes but when we sent a message to Deb she immediately asked her IT person to review and offered us her restaurant location to work and connect. We decided this problem was a clear message to us to unplug and enjoy the serenity, and that’s exactly what we did. We ate at Deb’s Lounge, which was a great experience, especially because of the impeccable kindness and attention of Ousnane. He not only served us but gave us some excellent ideas for places to visit. The daily breakfast served by Laura, who was also very kind to us, was also really large and welcomed. We also took the suggestion of a guest review to visit the spa in Bagno Vignoni at Hotel Posta Marcucci and it was incredible and worth the money. We spent most of the day there and relaxed in the outdoor, indoor areas and massage.

Where to start... prior to our arrival she provided her information so she could help pick us up with our bags and give us a personal tour. She treats her home with pride and her guests like family. Giovanna and her family all helped make our stay memorable and comfortable. She was flexible with us since we had a late wedding to attend and really cared about us personally. She remembers the little details like what you like for breakfast and even wished my husband a happy birthday. The view is beautiful, the room is cozy, her food is made with love and my heart is so full. My husband and I left feeling so cared for. Everyone is respectful of space and Giovanna is just a lovely person I hope to visit again. If you want an ordinary experience go elsewhere but if you want something extraordinary visit Giovanna <3

We had a pleasant stay, Everything was impeccable, comfortable bedding, functional air conditioning, very convenient lockbox system, nothing more to say, everything was perfect!

Staying at Silvia's was really nice! The apartment is small and incredibly cozy. It has everything you need, even air conditioning. The location is great, the neighborhood is not only very popular among the Romans, but very central and perfectly located for a city trip for two or alone. The street branches off from a main road, but the street and apartment are very quiet. There are also very nice small restaurants. Silvia responds very quickly to messages with tips and hints - thank you, we will be happy to come back.

I honestly couldn’t fault one thing about this stay. Ada truely made you feel like a part of the family and we were sad to leave! Breakfast every morning was delicious and had a beautiful outlook to the ocean. Ada is a beautiful soul and her place reflected that, everything was so well thought out, the view was magnificent and she gave us lots of great recommendations for the area. Hopefully we are able to come back!!

Danilo and his mother were the sweetest! they welcomed us into their accommodation with open arms. They gave us snacks upon arrival and then they ordered us pizza for dinner. We ate on the terrace with the cats, chickens, and birds. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. The view was absolutely lovely and Danilo’s mom was so nice to talk to. I finally got to practice my italian with her and she talked slow so I could understand. We had a great conversation. This accommodation was a little difficult to get to but Danilo gave us very detail instructions with pictures. It helped a lot. I would recommend this place if you have a car and are okay with driving up a narrow road. We will always remember our night in Castellammare di Stabia!

The place is stunning and quiet, with a breathtaking view and total privacy. The host is very friendly and kind, and helped with every problem quickly and efficiently (does not speak English but it was not a problem at all). We had a great experience, and hope to come back soon Highly recommended. Suitable for smokers only, as smoking in the cabin is allowed, and it is noticeable

Giovanni was a fantastic host. He accommodated our needs for checkin. The view from the rooms was beautiful and even more beautiful from the outside terrace and rooftop deck it was walkable to so many great restaurants and all that we wanted to see in Palermo. He gave great recommendations and was very responsive if we had questions. The air conditioning worked great and the basket of goodies and water were such a welcome treat to get us started so that we didn’t have to get things after our long flight. Hope we will be back!

What a gorgeous place to stay! I hoped it would be great and it was even better than I imagined. A truly unique experience. The apartment had everything you need and Apollo as well. What more can I say?

I am still dreaming about the view from the windows! An ideal base to explore Venice and cozy sanctuary to return to, exactly as described—clean, charming, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Caterina was incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a smooth stay. Everything was wonderful! The location was perfect. Close enough to explore the best of Italy, but tucked away just enough for peaceful mornings and restful evenings. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming Italian experience.

This stunning spot is located on the edge of Akrotiri. From the heated plunge pool, you get a phenomenal view of the Caldera and the rest of the island. You can even see Fira and Oia beautifully in the distance. Honestly, you could spend hours just gazing at that view. The suite was spotless, and Zenia was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was perfect every single morning. Akrotiri is a bit off the beaten path, which we really appreciated—it gave us a much more authentic Greek experience compared to, for example, Oia. Only challenge: the last few meters to the property involve a narrow and tricky road. But you get the hang of it quickly. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

Anna’s apartment was absolutely dreamy it felt like stepping back in time. She paid attention to even the tiniest details, carefully preserving original paints and walls, which gave the space a truly unique glamour. Anna herself was so friendly, flexible, and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. It was the perfect weekend getaway to detox and unwind from busy city life. Highly recommend!

A dream home. We were looking for a place to disconnect from the routine, with tranquility and intimacy. And we were able to do it. It's been wonderful. On the other hand, Valérie and Matthieu were very kind at all times. I'm sure we'll be back. 😘

Manuela and her husband made me feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade pastries and a wide selection to choose from. The room was spacious and private. They provided a booklet of local recommendations from gelato, bars, and restaurants. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Lovely villa in Nocelle with breathtaking views. We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it, wish it was longer. Sofia was prompt in communicating and ensured we had a memorable stay. Would love to be back again soon.

Our stay was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. It felt like visiting family. The hosts are the most genuine, thoughtful couple we've ever met. Their hospitality went far beyond anything we expected. They were incredibly responsive and offered fantastic recommendations for the area, but what really made our experience special was the cooking class we did with them. We learned how to make fresh pasta and dessert from scratch, then shared the most delicious meal together. It wasn’t just a dinner,it was a memory we’ll carry with us forever. Out of our entire 19-day trip through Italy, this was hands down the highlight. The property itself is straight out of a movie. The home is stunning, filled with character and charm, and the grounds are peaceful, beautifully maintained, and truly capture the magic of Tuscany. If you're looking for an authentic, heartfelt experience that goes beyond just a place to stay, this is it!!

This is a unique place. The treehouse is small and cosy. Everything you need is there. Close to the crowded city but also close to the marvelouse countryside. We were there the second time and we love this place in the middle of olive trees, you see the top of the Dome of Firence, the house is in the shadow of several pine trees. It is a magic place for us.
