Kid-friendly vacation rentals in South Tyneside

I stayed here for two nights with my two young boys and it was a perfect home from home. Well located to both the beach and local park, the house was very well presented and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were easily contactable and very flexible offering an early check in to accommodate my youngest son’s nap and left some toys for the children which was a nice touch. We would definitely recommend and look forward to future stays when visiting family in South Shields.

This place is great if you don't mind riding the bus to town. I had a great stay and would recommend it. The bus stop is literally outside the front door and Aldi is just a few minutes walk.

we needed a place to stay for 3 of us as we were spending the weekend at the Beamish museum. 15 mins away it was perfect for our needs. Joan was helpful and responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better host. highly recommend.

Had a great stay . House was very clean , bedrooms and bathrooms excellent. View over the mouth of the Tyne really good from the balconies . Would stay again.

What a lovely place! We had such a nice stay, 3 nights with 4 kids and the house was spacious and well equipped with all the amenities needed for us. David was very helpful with places to eat with kids and some helpful tips like where the nearest park was etc. I cannot fault our stay, we would definitely stay again, maybe even longer next time.

We loved our stay at Signal House. House is absolutely beautiful. It’s in such a lovely location with fantastic views along the coastline. Easy to walk into Amble or along coastal path in both directions. House amazing, spotlessly clean. We hope to come back some time. Thankyou Tracey for a great stay x

What a beautiful house! Beautifully decorated, modern, loads of space for a family. The owners really have created something beautiful. The 3 bathrooms are all brand new, kitchen is new, floorings look new and so does the decor, 3 double bedrooms with loads of space. You must research places near by there is some amazing country parks and a beautiful beach near by. Lidl is a few doors down. Lots of take aways near by. Excellent hosts , replied really quickly to messages. They definitely go the extra mile to ensure guest have the best experience. As a family staying here we would 100% recommend!

Had a great 2 night stay just me and my pooch Beryl, right on the beach, I took my camera and got some great shots on from the attic window, lovely beach walks and great food at granny Annie's where dogs are very welcome, will definitely stay again !!

Had a lovely weeks stay. The flat was lovely and homely, very well equipped, extremely comfortable bed and very clean. Good recommendations from Host of places to visit which was useful. Brilliant to have off road parking and be able to walk into Tynemouth. Will most certainly be back. Thank you

A lovely apartment, bright and comfortable in a historic area of Newcastle, near to the castle and cathedral. Lots of good restaurants on the doorstep, a perfect place to stay.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a long weekend celebrating with family who live locally. The apartment was perfect, great location, clean, and just want we needed. The hot tub was a complete win with our children. The courtyard is private and a real sun trap. We will be back.

We used Jen’s house as a stop over and it was very comfortable. Perfect distance from Newcastle City Centre and other areas.

We booked this apartment at very short notice following a change in our plans. The hosts responded very quickly to make the property available for us and even allowed us flexibility with our check in. The Old Bakery exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our short break holiday being close to Cullercoats and Tynemouth centre and a great stretch of beach. Next time we are looking to stay in the area we will definitely be booking this again.

Booked as I was working in the area and bored of hotels. It made a few days working away bearable. The apartment was exactly as described, immaculately clean and modern. Once inside it's really private no noise, and very calm decor. Kathryn was really responsive and keen to ensure I was comfortable and all needs met. Will definitely be booking again when staying in the North East for work, a lovely home away from home.
