Beachfront vacation rentals in South Tyneside

We absolutley loved it! the caravan felt so peaceful and quiet and it also had everything needed to feel right at home straight away :) our dog also enjoyed the beach walks every day a short distance away. We are already planning our next trip to hopefully be able to come back in the future. Thank you for being so friendly and helpful.

Had a great 2 night stay just me and my pooch Beryl, right on the beach, I took my camera and got some great shots on from the attic window, lovely beach walks and great food at granny Annie's where dogs are very welcome, will definitely stay again !!

Our second visit to this fabulous, well-equipped caravan. Lovely view of the sea and situated close to a beautiful coastline with so much to see. A wonderful place to relax. Amazing welcome treats. Perfect hosts, quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you so much.

A perfect little cottage in every way. Immaculately presented, with everything we needed and in a great location. We loved Tynemouth, and being one minute from the sea front takes some beating. We were blessed with beautiful weather, so didn’t go too far, but it’s so easy to get into Newcastle on the Metro, or explore Northumberland. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Beautiful property in a stunning seafront location. The cottage had all the amenities we needed with a wonderful view of the sea. Nigel and Jane were very welcoming and recommended a bistro in Amble, Jaspers which was one of the best meals we have had in a long time.

Incredible location & a great flat. Very spacious for a flat. Great communication with host. Would definitely stay again when visiting South Shields

Really enjoyed our stay, what a lovely place, so pleased we found this gem. Quiet, lovely walks for both of us and our dog. Lovely beach walks..perfect.. Joanne is a fabulous host. She was both responsive and helpful. When one of us had an accident requiring hospital treatment she was at pains to do anything to assist. The house was immaculate, parking easy and location perfect for ice-cream and restaurants. The beds were super comfortable . Everything was provided for a great holiday. The neighbourhood is modern, clean and quiet. Highly recommend staying here.

Booked a little break at Linda's caravan on Airbnb. Kids absolutely loved the caravan. Linda was very responsive and helpful when needed. The weekend went far too quickly. Will 100% book again and would recommend to anyone.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Absolutely gorgeous caravan . The lock box for the key isn't the easiest place to access if you have trouble bending or if the ground is wet This caravan is beautiful, fantastic location, parking space and its at the quieter end of the park. I would highly recommend anyone to book with Christopher, he is a fantastic host and I would definitely stay again. Thanks Christopher

Myself, Mum and 5 year old son just stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely break! David is a responsive and thoughtful host, replying quickly, arranging for the heating to be on for arrival and even leaving lovely treats for us to enjoy! The place is absolutely spotless, super clean and well organised, it has everything you'd need for a short stay. Would definitely recommend! We ventured to Cresswell Beach and White House Farm in Morpeth which is a must if you have little ones. Lovely memories made... as well as some sand castles!

Second stay at this beautiful caravan that once again did not disappoint. Lovely, comfortable, homely caravan in the most peaceful spot on a great site. We can not get enough of the amazing views of the sea, right outside the caravan. Sitting out on the balcony is one of our most favourite things to do here, with also the quick walk to the beach to paddle in the sea and make sandcastles with the children. Our children absolutely loved staying here again withe plenty to do on the site and wonderful surrounding places to visit. Lots of lovely personal touches in the caravan that make it feel very welcoming. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fab little stay in a lovely little caravan, kids and dogs had a blast. Caravan is a bit run down as described but still clean and we had a lovely time. Everything was so easy and we even got a late check out which we really appreciated. Thanks Malcolm

Beautiful uninterrupted view across the estuary to the sea and a great beach just a walk through the dunes away The lodge is at the end of a cul de sac with grassy area where kids can play The lodge is spacious and comfortable This was our second visit Once again there was a generous welcome pack but no condiments in the kitchen and I’m glad I took a cafetière A favourite place for us

I’m originally from Hartlepool and have wanted to stay in one of the houses on the sea front since I was a little girl. This was a dream come true waking up to such a beautiful view. The house was perfect and we felt right at home. Everything we could have needed was provided and the WiFi was great. Alicia and Ross couldn’t not have been friendlier and more helpful. Thank you for a perfect stay.

We can only say extremely positive comments about Amanda and Seas the Day. The house was a home from home, we settled instantly. Everything you could want was provided and kitchen appliances were straight forward to use. The house was immaculate and well cared for. The area was quiet and in a good location for visiting local beaches and castles.We were blessed with sunshine which made every trip out, beautiful. Lovely spacious house with a homely feel to it. Suited our needs perfectly and had a fabulous weekend celebrating a 21st birthday. Lovely coastal walk and great local food. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

8 of us stayed the night and it was very spacious and clean. Antonio was very responsive especially given that it was a last minute booking! We were able to check in late night and the instructions Antonio gave were very clear. The flat was right in front of the seafront so the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Would definitely stay there again if we stay in Newcastle for a longer time next time!

myself and 2 friends, were on a 3 day, cycling holiday and all of us agree , the cottage was above expectations. lovely decor and all very modern and new . bathroom was very classy. location was excellent for walks along the beach and plenty of local shops, greengrocer, bakery, co-op right over the road. lots of good pubs, especially recconenf, Porters , for great beer and excellent food. Cresswell arms, excellent quirky pub, well worth a visit
