Stand alone, wild, off-grid woodland pod
300 yards walk across the fields and over 2 stiles, from the car parking area, totally off-grid camping pod, with solar panel for lighting and USB phone charging, a composting loo and gas shower. Situated in a stunning bluebell wood, with breathtaking views of Cheviot, Simonside and the Coquet Valley. The Pod stands alone, with just the abundant wildlife to share the woods with. The pod is very basic with no heating, a 2-ring gas hob and small sink, and a fire pit area with fallen wood for fuel.

Pondihengery Glampsite is a small family run site in a rural area, just outside Rothbury, Northumberland. The site sits on the edge of a stone circle with stunning views. We welcome up to two well behaved dogs. Please do not let your dogs on the bed. Introducing our delightful Bracken Shepherds hut. Comfortable double bed with dining area that doubles up as a small bed suitable for a child or smaller adult (size 5’6”x 2’6”) We are sure that you will have a memorable stay and book in again!

Probably the best view on the Island. Look East to the Farne Islands and watch sunrise over two castles and the Island harbour or Lindisfarne Priory. Centrally located with parking right outside your door you will find Sea View the perfect place to plan your day. The old Fisherman’s cottage has sympathetically restyled from top to bottom into a cosy retreat for you to kick back relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. The large private garden has a decking area and summer house for you to enjoy.
