Waterfront vacation rentals in South America

Great location and close to all the tourist sites. Next door is a bar and restaurant. The Airbnb was quiet, private and very beautiful. Juan is a great host and very communicative.

I loved everything about this place. Whenever I go back that’s definitely going to be my go to place

Raabi's airbnb was exactly what we were looking for. It was peaceful and relaxing. You will need a car to get here as it is far from the airport. We enjoyed being able to swim right outside our room. We liked that there is a restaurant right next door. The a/c worked great and kept us comfortable.

El lugar era muy bonito, Diego siempre estuvo atento a mis inquietudes y fue muy resolutivo, el departamento estaba muy bien equipado aunque no cocinamos vimos que tenía todos los implementos necesarios para cocinar, estaba muy limpio y las luces en todo el departamento le dieron un plus, la vista era increíble, aunque hacía algo de frío en camita ya no se sentía ! Gracias Diego, esperamos sigas rentando tu lindo hogar para que más personas del extranjero podamos venir a cumplir sueños !!!

El alojamiento es muy completo, cómodo y muy organizado, la cocina tiene todo lo necesario si gustan cocinar en el alojamiento. La ducha tiene buena presión y tiene agua caliente. Es a una cuadra y media de la playa de Copacabana y los Uber siempre nos recogían y dejaban sin problema. Ante cualquier duda Cida siempre nos respondió muy atentamente y siempre con disponibilidad de responder a cualquier duda. 100% recomendado.

Before booking this place I took the time to read previous reviews and be careful as I was traveling with my mother, grandma and son. The moment we arrived, it felt like home. Every detail looks like the pictures. The tall ceilings and spacious areas were great for my 2 year old. The master bedroom was located on a different floor which was beautiful and more than enough closet space. I did have an issue with the wi-fi but Bruno & Lindis were responsive and Bruno fixed it within minutes. There’s a cleaning lady available at your request. She didn’t enter the apartment until we were on the premises, she was very helpful, nice, inspired trust & comfort. The doorman was very helpful as well. Since this is a “downtown” area, there was constant police presence and people walking around. We even saw police officers standing on a red light with a sign “honking is unnecessary” caring for the traffic noise. We felt comfortable and safe that booked this place again for our next trip.

A estadia foi perfeita! O gramado é impecável, a casa é pé na areia. A praia é linda e calma. Uma tenda foi colocadola na areia para nos proteger do sol, caiaque para passeio, espreguiçadeira, cadeira de praia, toalhas de banho, freezer perto da praia. Experiência de pousada com airbnb, muito bom! E ainda tem o Kratos pra brincar!

Hilda listing was amazing !!! Everything looked the same as the pictures and OMG that view is breathtaking. I would recommend this listing. The building was nice as well. Unfortunately the ladies that checked us in at the front desk were not friendly. But everyone else was great, the security and the door men on the second floor were awesome. Hilda was so helpful, she provided us with an amazing private chef and decorator for the Airbnb. She also provided us with restaurants, cafes and night life. My overall experience with Hilda was perfect, I would recommend you to stay and when I return I will be staying with her again.

Such a perfect little spot for us on our way to San Jose. Loved the convenient location and ease of getting in and out. The house is super thoughtful and well designed with lots of light, nice kitchen and bath and a beautiful green space out back. Very peaceful at night and it felt very secure with the car behind a big gate. We will be back. Thank you! Recommended!

El lugar es agradable , muy limpio y en zona tranquila PIenso que no cuesta nada poner unas películas a los cristales de más puertas o cambiarlas , no hay las más mínima privacidad y la presión del agua de los baños es muy muy poca. De ahí en fuera lo recomiendo al 1000

Espectacular casa! Muy cómoda y en un lugar privilegiado. En las mañanas llegan cisnes de cuello negro y caiquenes a la orilla de la casa. 100% recomendado! Una experiencia.

I can’t say enough how lovely this home was. I have never stayed at an Airbnb so well equipped. It had everything we could possibly need and more, and made travel with young kiddos so much easier. Joost provided beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkels, sand toys, pool toys and so much more. The kitchen had every appliance, pan, utensils you could need, and the place itself was just beautiful with the most beautiful view. This place is a MUST STAY. Thank you Joost for putting so much thought into your place it was truly the most perfect stay.

É como está escrito: Pé na areia. Casa bonita, bem decorada, cozinha completa e o melhor: vista direta para o mar. Só descer alguns degraus e pronto, lá está a areia da praia do Campeche. Local silencioso, super tranquilo, bom para relaxar e se deleitar com o som ritmado das ondas do mar. Os anfitriões também são proativos, gentis, respondem rápido e prontos a ajudar. Enfim, tudo de bom!

If I could give 1 million stars I would. We stayed for 8 days in the orange house and this was the most amazing home, amazing location, amazing hosts. Usually pictures look better online than in person, this was the opposite. The pictures on the listing are accurate, but it’s 100000x better in person, Marlin and his wife Claudia were the absolute best hosts. They were helpful, gave advice, suggestions and really helped us have a “locals experience”- Saigon Bay is special. For us it was the perfect location, we rented bikes (he has covered parking with plug ins to charge) We didn’t have any issues, but anytime we needed laundry or to ask anything, they were immediately available. He has the BEST local bug “oil” that you will want and I’m fairly certain every single hummingbird in the world came to our deck daily. The AC in the bedroom worked great, and there are multiple fans throughout the home. They have a fridge with beers, waters, eggs and some other items and offer 5 gallon jug

Amazing flat with one of the best views of Ipanema! it looks just like the pictures if not better. super close to the beach and the location in general is great with loads of botecos, stores, etc. Julie as a host was amazing, always super responsive and gave us loads of tips. Will definitely try staying here the next time I'm in Rio!

I really enjoyed my stay! The apartment was absolutely gorgeous and had a great location - it is literally across the street from the beach! Camille was extremely helpful and responsive during my stay, even sending my friend and I several recommendations for activities to do in Rio. The location of the apartment is great, with great local restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. It is also just a quick Uber ride away from big attractions like Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer. Overall, I had a great experience and would stay again if I came back to Rio.

If you’re looking for a safe place in a great, walkable location, book this Airbnb! The pool and rooftop spaces were lovely with great views. There was a restaurant / bar on the second floor which was a perfect spot for a tropical drink happy hour and snack! There was a delicious coffee shop and more restaurants / shops right below the condo too. Plus, short walking distance to some of the best shopping and restaurants on the island. (Lucy’s, West Deck, Aru-bean were some of the highlights for us). We enjoyed this location vs the pricier spots right on the beach. (Only a $10-20 taxi to visit the beaches from this condo) Mahssa’s communication was incredible and she greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. She also had great recs for beaches, restaurants and more! The security workers in the condo were friendly and helpful - always calling us taxis (no Ubers on the island!) and recommending local spots. We felt very safe the entire time and the condo is a perfect spot for 2!

This was quite literally the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The place was absolutely pristine, very well decorated, smelled amazing, and had every possible amenity you could need. I was very impressed with the set up and how luxurious the is place felt, extremely comfortable bed/pillows, and high quality towels for bath and pool. Will definitely only stay in Andre’s places in Cartagena if they hold this top of the line standard. Also if you need to wash/dry clothes this place has brand new washer/dryer which is rare for Colombia.

We were 2 adults and 2 kids staying in Sean's beautiful place. It's big, plenty of space and a balcony with unbelievable views! The best thing was a private beach just a few steps away, perfect for relaxing and swimming. Another bigger beach is about 10-15 minutes to walk or a couple minute drive. We came during off season so it was very quiet which was perfect for us. We also walked about 10 min to the Marina for a boat tour which was very convenient. Thank you, Sean!
