The house was built in the 1880s and is located at the northern end of Eidsgata - a pleasant main street with beautiful wooden houses, shops and restaurants. Cozy house with garden and terrace in the middle of Sæbø center, surrounded by the Sunnmørsalpene, overlooking Hjørundfjorden and the magnificent mountains Saksa and Slogen. There is walking distance to two grocery stores, niche stores, hotels, campsites, fjord sauna and a small sandy beach with a common barbecue/outdoor area. The bus, shuttle boat and ferry Sæbø-Leknes/Urke are within walking distance. Sæbø is a good starting point for simple to spectacular mountain hikes. In season you can fish salmon in Bondalselva (fishing license can be bought in the shop)

Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.

"Eldhuset" was built in 2004 with all modern qualities. There are heating cables in the floor, a private terrace, a great wood-fired bakery oven and a cultivation area just outside. The house has a bedroom and loft. Just outside the door you will find popular hiking and biking trails. 6 min drive to Sogndal city center, 4 min away is Kaupanger city center with grocery store and ViteMeir center, nice for all ages! 2 min away you will find a swimming pool, playground and gym.

The house is located in a small fruit farm in Sørfjorden, Hardanger, not far fromTrolltunga and Mikkelparken ( one hour by car) It is a charming house where you can feel at home with a modern kitchen and bathroom (2015) wich is blended beautiful in with the historical furnitures and old wooden walls. The house has to bedrooms and a small sleeping-hall. It is suitable for 6 persons, a family or two couples. If you like fishing we also have a boathouse next to the fjord.
