A lovely and cozy cabin! The surroundings are so beautiful, and the hosts are incredible! Very hospitable and friendly, we felt very welcome. The sauna is a great extra, and the mountain river close by is also beautiful!

All was quite satisfactory. We have hardly heard from the host What you notice and a lot of privacy even though you lived across the street. The bathroom was cleaned every 2 days and fresh towels were also provided. The location was good because you could reach everything in about 2 hours by car

A charming guesthouse located in a peaceful area. It is perfect for families as there is plenty of space for children to play at, and many options for a scenic walk or nearby trip. Einar is also a nice host and easy to communicate with. We hope to come back and we recommend this place!

We spent 4 nights here. The log cabin was a wonderful place for us to stay in the last days of our 3-week Norway round trip to unwind and relax. This is a wonderfully quiet and cozy place. From every window you can look at the fjord and hear only birds and the sound of waves. The accommodation is far enough from the tourist hustle and bustle. Bergen can be reached by car in about 25 minutes. A supermarket is close by. The cabin is more spacious than expected, cozy and warm and really equipped with everything you need. If you're looking for peace, this is the place to be. Audhild and Bjarke are very friendly and helpful hosts. The sauna, which can be used privately and has access to the fjord, is a highlight. The small, quiet island of Askoy itself is also recommended for exploration. Many thanks to Audhild and Bjarke for this very special holiday ending.

We loved this delightful small cabin in a beautiful location, overlooking the fjord. It is quite remote and the nearest shop is 30 minutes by car but that is the joy of the place, if you like peace and quiet, going for walks and enjoying the fjord. The beds were comfortable and the cabin very well equipped. Our communication with Grzegorz and Dominika was really excellent and they quickly answered all of our questions. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other couples.

The cottage is a dream of a place. The location? What could be better than right on the fjord? And the cottage is clean, comfortable, and so charmingly done. It’s easy to roam from here to other sights and hiking, etc. Kjetil and his family were very responsive. Would absolutely stay again on another visit.

The house is a dream come true! Secluded on an island and perfect for switching off. The kitchen is super equipped and you can conjure up any menu. But you should be able to conjure up restaurants, because there are none, 😀 which was not negative. We rented Ove's motorboat and were able to explore the island. If you like fish, there is the possibility to go fishing by boat. Ove provides fishing equipment. This Airbnb actually deserves more than 5 stars!!

Fantastic views over the water. Quiet location. The passing train even became a game for us. Is he coming from the left or from the right? If you need some rest during your vacation, definitely worth a visit. In Stanghelle, there is a nice walk to Dagsturhytta, and in Helle, you can walk to Dale along the water.

Fantastic location amazing views and close to Briksdal Glacier, Fjords and Loen Skylift. Place is adequate for a family of four ('loft' access requires climbing up a ladder and has crawling room only). Tastefully furnished.

The place was magical! We were incredibly lucky with the weather and therefore had a beautiful sunset while we could still sit outside. The place was clean, cozy, and the toilet was also well explained (burning toilet, very accurate and easy to explain). Kristine is a great hostess and has prepared everything superbly. Also, the path to the Birdbox looked like it had just been freshly filled with gravel, so that guests could drive up to the Birdbox by car. Therefore, when we could not get any further with our car without four-wheel drive about 400m before the intended parking lot, we were able to clarify directly with her where we were allowed to stop in the forest as an alternative. The remaining meters were then easily walked to the beautiful Birdbox.

My niece and I had the best time here! The cabin was so cute, the views stunning, and the hosts very friendly. also we loved that we could build a fire on the chilly nights!

Siv was an amazing host. She met us in the parking lot and walked us up to the birdbox. Explained where everything was and made sure we had everything we needed. The pictures don’t do this location justice- it’s even more incredible in person. Thank you Siv!

Nice accommodation for 2-3 people. Beautiful surroundings and hiking opportunities. We used the outdoor hotplate for pancakes one day when the weather was nice. Otherwise, the microwave worked very well for dinner.

The location and the accommodation were great! We were 2 people so we stayed in the annex, which is different than the main bigger accommodation. The view was fantastic and the space was great! Well equipped kitchen and quite spacious!
