The apartment was perfect for a weekend in Bergen. If we were wondering about something, they responded right away, we asked about heat in the apartment and then heaters were in place right away. There was nothing problematic in communication. Very nice host and you can see that an effort has been made for a nice stay, adapted for children as well. Will recommend further and will come back the next time I am in Bergen 😊 Thank you so much!

Superior Penthouse Apartment with a View

We loved the beautiful views of Bergen and the fantastic location of this Airbnb! It’s in a wonderful area with easy access to some great spots—highly recommend checking out Art Themis for delicious pizza and drinks, and Skg. Vinkafé for a cozy coffee stop. While we were aware of the stairs, it ended up being more challenging than expected for my friend with a disability, as there are four flights to reach the unit. Just something to keep in mind if accessibility is a concern. The hosts were very responsive whenever we needed assistance, and overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One small suggestion: consider bringing your own towels and pillows if you’re particular about comfort. The pillows were quite flat, and the towels were very rough on the skin—almost like sandpaper. Otherwise, this place made for a memorable stay in Bergen!

The accommodation was very cozy. Thanks to the well-equipped apartment, we were able to enjoy everything from shared cooking evenings to movie nights. Additionally, the neighborhood is very nice, offering a great view, and the center of Bergen is easily accessible by public transport. Thank you!

Modern attic apartment

View from the windows of the fog over the sloped hills of the city was absolutely gorgeous every morning. The bed was comfortable, even to someone with persnickety back pain, although the fold-down couch was a little harder / not as soft. Perfectly fine for anyone without back problems! It was about a 25-30 minute walk to the heart of downtown Bergen, but public transportation was easily available and cuts down the trip to 10-15 minutes. Super easy access to the tram that takes you to the airport, as well. The host was very nice and helpful, even when I pestered them with lots of tourist questions. Everything was very clean, plenty of blankets and towels and cookware. Extremely quiet (although you are right above where the host lives in a separate apartment, so not the place to be super loud yourself). Two flights of stairs to get to the apartment, some of the windows have blinds but not all, so it's definitely bright in the mornings.

Christine's apartment is situated in a tranquil mainly pedestrian street, very close both to the city center and to the train station and to the airport tram line. It's cozy, perfect for a couple, fully equipped. A little unconfortable if you travel with big luggage, since you have to climb steep narrow stairs to enter. Bathroom is spacious but you have to be careful when you have a shower in order not to make the floor wet. We enjoyed our stay in Christine's apartment a lot and we warmly recommend it for a holiday in Bergen, even for a week or more.

The place is full of character and authenticity. The loft has the most beautiful view I have ever seen. Such a peaceful and charming place, like a piece of heaven! Entering the loft through an art gallery, filled with paintings and sculptures by the host Els, adds an extra touch of magic to the experience. Els is a fantastic host—super responsive and full of great recommendations. She even left fresh eggs and chicken from their farm in the fridge. Highly recommend!

Bautiful spacious unit in a great location. Just right for our multigenerational family group. Easy to walk to many sites, or easy access to transit for farther trips. The stairs were not so difficult, and the unbelievable views made it totally worth the climb.

We (to adults and two children) have had a really nice stay in Gerardos apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the location quiet and peaceful. However, the best part of the stay was Gerardos hospitality and kindness which was beyond the ordinary. We recommend staying here and will definitely return if we visit Bergen and the surrounding area again :) Thank you Gerardo.

This place is a steal! Inger went above and beyond by picking me up from the light rail stop later at night. She was very hospitable and kind, answering any questions I had about the area, telling me exactly which trains and buses to take to town. The unit is upstairs and has everything you need, from a little kitchenette to a cozy bed, desk, and she even made breakfast. Felt like home! Book here if you ever travel to Bergen.

We enjoyed our stay! The apartment is SPACIOUS. It was a great place to stay as a family, because we could retreat to our separate spaces when needed. One bedroom even had a sitting room. The neighborhood was quiet during our stay. There is a nice cafe about a block away.

Have rented many apartments, but this one really stands out! Only the view alone means that this space is available to visit. The apartment is in a peaceful area with many nice walks in mountains and nature. There is a good connection with a regular boat, as well as the opportunity to add your own boat in the guest harbor. Overall, we are super happy the whole family and would like to thank Laila and the neighbors for welcoming us so well on this gem of an island🤩
