Vacation rentals with lake access in Sogn og Fjordane

We had a wonderful time here, plenty of room for four adults with room to spare! Nice touches of comfort and style throughout the home. It is important to note there are no restaurants or grocery stores walkable, we appreciated knowing that ahead of check in. The 40 minute ride to downtown Bergen and 10-20 minute ride to food options was minor compared to the wonderful, beautiful place! Great kitchen and outdoor grilling area to prepare food. Responsive, friendly hosts!! Would definitely stay here again!!!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Margrete’s place! The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained — everything was exactly as described and even better in person. Margrete was a kind and thoughtful host, always quick to respond and happy to help with anything I needed. I felt completely comfortable and welcome throughout my stay. A lovely location. Great place to explore the fjords. We went up to the glacier and did a glacier walk. Also rented bikes out of skjolden and bikes the romantic road south along the fjords. Coming back every afternoon to this delightful home was heavenly.

The house is very modernly renovated and beautifully and stylishly furnished. We felt comfortable there. The bed was super comfortable, we slept wonderfully. The lakeside location was super quiet and perfect for switching off. We liked it there, but the house could use a little love in one place or another. Communication with Benjamin was great and he responded quickly to any questions.

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. Old house with the character of Bergen. Great location, easy walking into centre and restaurants. Good parking for car, all amenities in house you’ll need. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Can highly recommend.

Soja was a kind host who was very helpful. The stay is located in a beautiful place next to a lake. Sonja lend us her boat and sweet memories were made. 🥰 Will definitely recommend.

We had a very nice stay at the apartment. The location was beautiful, directly at the sea and surrounded by mountains. The apartment self was nice, clean and very well equipped. Winnie was a very nice host, very friendly and gave us some good instructions. I would recommend the apartment to anyone.

This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

We had a wonderful stay at a very unique location, views from the apartment are stunning, and we enjoyed a lot taking the boat to explore the Fjord! Trude and Björn are great hosts, thanks a lot and love to return! cheers

We had a lovely stay at Eddie's cabin. We had plenty of space, a beautiful view, & everything we needed. The cabin is quietly situated in a valley close to the most amazing mountain & fjord scenery. It is a calm & tranquil place to return to after a day in the mountains. Hope to return one day.

Great place for a family holiday. the house has amazing views over the Fjord and mountains. so many activities in the area, such as hiking, via Ferrata, Skylift, Zip lining, and water activities. Our host Haldor was very friendly and a great help, he arranged 2 excursions for us, fishing and a visit to his family farm. the house is clean, spacious, well equipped with all modern amenities, and has a great location close to many attractions in Norway, such as Geiranger, Trollstigen, and many more. I would definitely recommend this place for a large family.

We had a lovely time at Kristin’s house, it had everything we needed. It is very peaceful with lovely views, we did a beautiful hike straight from the house which the hosts recommended. They were very welcoming, friendly and responsive. We could park next to the house and charging was available, which was great. We can definitely recommend the place.

We had a great stay despite the rain, the house was lovely and cosy. The boys loved being near the fjord and beach. The sauna unexpected extra. Sverre was easy to contact and friendly. The whole experience was super laidback. Thank goodness the sun came out for our last couple of days.
