Stylish and beautiful place in the heart of Kyoto! We stayed here for 4 nights to see Kyoto and the location of the place was perfect for us. The property is in a quiet location and the shopping streets, as well as a variety of great cafes & restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The staff were always polite and attentive and we were able to leave our bags there 5 hours before check-in. When the room was ready and we came back during the day, our bags had already been brought to the room. 👍🏻 For us, a clear recommendation if you actively choose to sleep on the tatami mats for a few nights.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It was very easy to find, and the check-in process was flexible, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. We really appreciated being able to leave our luggage with the staff when we arrived early—they were very polite and approachable throughout our stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities thoughtfully provided. Our daily breakfast provided were delicious and healthy. The hotel’s location was also a major plus—within walking distance of the main shopping area, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Public transport was readily accessible and made it easy to get to all the major attractions in the area. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient experience. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the Japanese style family room for 2 nights. Free breakfast was also a nice perk. For 2 nights this was perfect for us. The price was just right and gave us a unique experience. If this were a longer visit we would have been too cramped for space. But all in all - price, location and value were totally spot on. Checked all the boxes for what we were looking for!!!
