Charming place next to the railway station. Would love to go back.

The place was exact as described. It was quite spacious and we felt right at home. Considering we had a small baby, we didn’t have any issue during the stay. The check-in and checkout process was straightforward. The neighbourhood was quiet and had good commute options. Highly recommend this place.

The place very convenient for tourists. Everything is there . Accessible to tourist spots ( walking ,train stations, buses). Will surely get back to this place .

We enjoyed our stay in the impeccably maintained apartment on two levels. Location is pretty good about 10 minutes away from the train station, south. Lots of good buses nearby. Bus system in Kyoto works great and is easy to use. No western style chairs or sofa, so be prepared to sink to the ground after a day of exploring Kyoto.

Very, very good living experience. It is very close to Gion Shijo and Kyoto Kawagent-cho subway station. Transportation is convenient and both stations have luggage storage. Don't worry about leaving your luggage early.There is a family mart downstairs, just a few minutes walk to the main road bustling area, and avoiding the hottest place, it is not noisy!I thought it was a relatively old-style room, in fact, it was very modern, the bathroom was great, and the tatami was also a good sleep, and I slept very well here.The host responded to messages in a timely manner, the check-in process was also very simple. The instructions given by the host were very clear. When I left things, I was very careful to keep it, and I stayed again next time ~

I really liked the place. It’s relatively close to everything and the host provided my stay with everything I needed. I plan to book this same place when I go back to Kyoto.

The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood, yet it is close to some very interesting places to visit. Kaz is very responsive and friendly. The apartment is a little small but given the location and price, I think it is good value for money. The apartment comes with all the amenities a traveller would need. Overall, a great place to stay a little away from the busy downtown.

Very convenient self-check-in from Kyoto station

The room is right next to the subway entrance, very convenient location, there is a large supermarket opposite (this supermarket closes at 10 o'clock, there are usually discounted items at 5:30 in the afternoon) very convenient, if it is 1-2 people, this is a very good choice

We enjoyed our stay, a quiet and convenient little room - traditional Japanese style. The host was friendly and very communicative, we had no troubles whatsoever.

We booked Gion House to get an authentic accommodation experience in a machiya house. The apartment looked exactly like the photos: it was spotless, spacious and very well maintained. Location was perfect to explore Gion and the hotspots of Kyoto. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. Much appreciated and many thanks for the lovely stay.

Yu's apartment 100% matches the images, the room size is even bigger than I imaged which is really surprised. The room is spotlessly clean with everything needed. The place is near HR nijo station and walkable,convenient store is nearby. The place is quiet and can see beautiful sunset from balcony.Definitely recommend to travellers.

The location of this stay was perfect, within walking distance of many of Kyotos must-see places and great restaurants. The apartment was small (like most Japanese apartments), but incredible value for the price. Taiyo was helpful and responsive.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Kyoto. It’s very close to a popular bus stop and not too far from Kyoto Station. Seizai’s instruction booklet was very clear and gave lots of great information about both the bnb and the neighborhood. The only issue is that the bunk bed ladder does not attach to the bed well, so be careful when climbing up and down. Otherwise everything is great and clean and it’s a nice space. Highly recommend!

K/H did an amazing job as a host and making me feel welcome during my stay in Kyoto. Their clear directions made the stay seamless. Noise around the bnb was not as bad as expected ( rail line by the apartment), and it didn’t impact my sleep at all! Thanks again!

Very clean, space was perfect for two! Would recommend if only looking for a place to sleep, 2 minutes away from the station so very convenient to go and explore Kyoto!

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

The location is excellent, it is very easy to get to the points of interest in Kyoto easily.

Absolutely loved this Air BnB. The shower itself makes it worth the stay. All the shopping and touristy things are a short walk down the road and there are plenty of convenience stores / restaurants around.
