We wanted to stay somewhere near the beach with a touch of rainforest and that's exactly what Taru Rentals gave us! We followed the airbnb directions until we noticed that the address can also be found on Google Maps under Taru Rentals. This made the journey a lot easier, however, it's easy to pass up the entrance if you don't have your eyes peeled for the Taru Rentals wooden sign. I loved staying here! It was private, but had a community area with ping pong and a gym. We worked out at the gym one day and it was such a great way to start off the day. The location was very close to the Montezuma center and beach. We appreciated that Taru Rentals had parking spots and clear signage for the 5 spots. Everything was great and this is definitely one of the more unique airbnbs I've been in! Thank you for having us.

Nadine was very helpful and responsive. And her local contact person was supportive and knowledgeable as well. The villa worked well for two couples. It was well supplied and we had everything that we needed, although nothing fancy. Los Delfines is a unique community, with many people who live there volunteering their time and skills to provide lots of activities. There was pickleball lessons, pickleball, birding, yoga, volleyball, euchre, hiking and more. The beach is perfect for walking. Lots of great restaurants and villages to explore in the area. Got to love those beautiful scarlet mackaws!! Thanks for a great stay!

This home is a must to stay at, Its beautiful. We enjoyed the beach it is walkable, you’re in great location in town so you get to enjoy the local restaurants. The host Rocio was exceptional, she recommended a wonderful ATV tour to the waterfalls, so amazing. We even forgot something upon check out and it was mailed.

Myself and eleven friends stayed at Villa Arcadia to celebrate my bachelorette, and we had the best time! Romy was incredibly helpful and communicated with us for months leading up to our trip to make sure everything was planned before we arrived. The house is exactly as pictured—spotlessly clean and felt newly renovated. The only downside is that the property isn’t walkable to town, but arranging taxis up and down the hill was super easy. I couldn’t recommend this Airbnb more and am so happy we chose it for my bachelorette weekend!

I was very fortunate to find this house. It feels like home to me. You're definitely surrounded by nature. The neighbor enjoys playing music, which I enjoyed actually. There's little things that are great like the Bluetooth speaker and projector. During the rain, the little crabs come in and I thought it was adorable. They do leave on their own. It's awesome that you can open the downstairs big doors to just be in an open-air situation. I thought the one bed that I slept on was very comfortable. I thought the place was really clean and simple like I expected. I'm not a "resort" person so this was exactly what I was after.

We had never been to Montezuma, and, what an amazing town. We had been to Costa Rica before, and if you’re looking for an authentic experience with people you trust, do yourself a favor and stay here. The home speaks for itself. It’s such a special place. Amazing!! Great location in a beautiful place. Stunning stay. It was so amazing to hear the sounds of the jungle while being in the villa. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Few ants located inside. Would 1000% recommend staying here!

AMAZING stay! Highly recommend. This was one of my favourite Airbnb stays! The photos look nice and the place is even better in person! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable King bed, storage and full kitchen necessities. Loved the front deck and the big windows giving to a stunning jungle view! We were highly impressed by the gym and yoga deck WOW! The gym had all kinds of props and great machines. Hosts were amazing with responsiveness, answer my questions and giving suggestions. We loved the recommendation to watch the sunrise from an abandoned pool at the end of one of the hiking trails! It was magical! Thank you!

My experience was great! The site is exactly the same as in the pictures, very well cared for and super comfortable. Communication with Simone was excellent, he was very attentive and provided us with all the information necessary for a quiet stay. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to everyone!

We spent 3 amazing days in this apartment as a family (2 adults and 2 children) and it was just spectacular! You can reach the beach and restaurants by walking, the pool is very nice and the apartment is very clean, tidy and spacious. Thanks to Juan also for his impeccable communication as a host! If you are looking for a place in Santa Teresa this is definitely an excellent choice!

Pura vida at its max. Pure relaxation, comfort, safety. Zeidy’s food absolute perfection, the kids kept saying it wasn’t even real, calling it dream food. Pool is bigger than what the pictures show, beach wonderful, restaurant down the road a neat little touch for a dinner. We got horses and massages right at the house. The team is fantastic and Jose was wonderful to line it all up. Our private driver that Jose arranged was just wonderful and accommodating to any needs. We would give 10 stars if we could, just like other reviews. Stay here. Or don’t, which will clear up more space in the calendar for us to come back :) :)

Villa Zoa este - 2 minute walk to the beach

Cannot recommend this place enough. Everything felt new and incredibly well maintained; the apartment is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The private pool and hammock were honestly a highlight of Santa Theresa for me (and this place is beautiful so that’s saying something). Saskia was incredibly helpful and welcoming - she helped organise a surf lesson for me. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

I had a fantastic stay at Evi’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The place was peaceful and safe, and everything I needed was nearby. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Unique Ocean & Sunset View Home

Staying at James' place was a magical experience. Beautiful jungle surroundings with an ocean view to enjoy the sunset every night. Lots of wildlife to marvel at just outdoors on the patio, which has a gorgeous setup. We loved enjoying smoothies / drinks, and hanging out in the outdoor kitchen. Cozy interiors as well. The location is very close to Santa Teresa, Stephanie was a lovely host with great local recommendations and helped us arrange/ book activities during our stay. Would love to return sometime soon!
