Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Puntarenas Province

I have stayed here before and always come back - the apartment is perfect - fast WiFi and easy to get everywhere in the San Jose area. I use Uber while in CR and the location is perfect - Uber always available quickly. The host is always available and quick to respond to any question and recommendations… As they say - she has very positive energy and is a pleasure to work with on any request. Buk’s place was great, it was ideally located with plenty of restaurants nearby, it is very close by the centro historico of san jose and there’s plenty of dining options nearby too. The appartment itself was good and clean. It gets a bit hot during the day but nothing to worry much. There is security in the building and i would highly recommend anyone to check out the gorgeous rooftop they have in the building the view over san jose’s skyline is incredible. The only thing thumbs down i would give them is when we asked them to keep our luggages for a bit, they said they couldn’t, it wasn’t a big deal tho.

Excellent place. Clean and tidy. Very attentive host and answered our questions quickly. Very quiet area and the building has a gym, heated pool and rooftop... I'm definitely going back...

We have been only for 12 hours in the apartment before the flight and it was great, clean and comfy and very close to the airport. Laundry and dryer machine was a great solution for last moment wash

My partner and I spent a week at Ulik and Andrea's place, and, it was fantastic! The location was excellent being minutes from the airport, and minutes away from City Mall with tons of local amenities. The unit was clean, we felt extremely safe on the property and the front gate security guard was also extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

The place is nice, with an incredible view of the city, it is also close to the Zona Rosa and you can find places to eat, and it is located in an area close to the center.

Excellent apartment! In a quiet neighborhood, with lots of bars and restaurants Great view! San José at your feet! So much so that one floor up there's a rooftop! Super-equipped apartment, new, very safe William is an excellent host I highly recommend this beautiful apartment!

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something special. The house is stunning — even more beautiful than the photos. Every corner felt carefully designed, blending comfort, style, and nature in perfect harmony. We woke up to the sound of birds and fell asleep under a sky full of stars. The views were breathtaking, the amenities were thoughtful, and the energy of the space was pure peace. The location is ideal — close to Uvita, Dominical, Bahía Ballena, and Ojochal — with hidden beaches, waterfalls, and delicious restaurants just minutes away. Whether we were relaxing in the hammock, cooking dinner with a view, or exploring the area, this home was the perfect sanctuary to return to each day. The hosts were warm, responsive, and made us feel right at home. We are leaving with full hearts and memories we’ll cherish forever. Highly, highly recommended — this place is magic. We’ll be back!

Christophers place was beautiful. It was steps away from a beautiful beach. The surroundings made you feel relaxed. We even saw a Toucan in one of the trees by the poolside. Christopher was nice enough to come find me since my GPS/internet didn't work and guided me to the house. I will definitely book again when I return to Costa Rica!

The host (Marlon) was very responsive and was there upon arrival to welcome us with great class. Very comfortable beds, air conditioning in the living room, kitchen and in each of the 3 bedrooms. There are also three standing fans. The complex pool near the accommodation with several pools and amenities is lovely. We would recommend it in a second. If we have a chance, we will go back.

This villa exceeded all our expectations – it’s even more beautiful than in the photos! The view over Playa Hermosa is stunning, and every morning and evening we saw toucans and scarlet macaws right from the terrace – closer than in some national parks. It’s peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for recharging. I loved doing Pilates on the terrace each morning. The hosts were kind, helpful, and shared wonderful stories with us. They even provided yoga mats! The access road is a bit rough (gravel), and at first I was nervous with our smaller car, but we got used to it quickly – just take it slow in low gear. Totally worth it. We would absolutely love to come back!

A Peaceful Getaway Near the Beach It was a beautiful house close to the beach, and it was the perfect mix of tranquility and convenience. Surrounded by nature, the property offered a private and peaceful retreat, ideal for relaxation. Despite the secluded feel, it was just a short distance from town, making it easy to access restaurants and any essentials. For us was perfect because we were looking for a quiet escape or a balance between nature and accessibility, this place offers the best of both worlds! Looking forward to visit again.

We had a wonderful short stay at Francisco’s house! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a perfect balance of minimalism and functionality. As parents of a little baby, we felt completely at ease letting him explore, knowing the space was safe and well-kept. Francisco was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back!
