Vacation rentals with breakfast in Puntarenas Province

Chris and Kristen are such amazing hosts! They are kind, attentive and communicate very well. They have an amazing guide book that could answer almost every question you have about traveling here and if it doesn’t, they respond quickly if you text them. The property itself is so beautiful. Their garden of plants and trees is captivating and with the river flowing behind it all, it’s like you have your own little sanctuary. The pictures can’t do it justice. My room was clean and there’s a good bit of open space which I liked. My stay here was so magical and I’ll never forget it. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay at the Beach House! Absolutely amazing location at the beachfront, empty beach, nice garden area and cute house. Note regarding insects: We did get visited by a lot of bugs in the house (especially ants) but when we sealed the front door were to able to limit the number.

A beautiful rustic house overlooking the volcanoes. We had a minor issue with the water and Tomás was quick to take care of it. Other than that our stay was perfect. Do keep in mind the biggest room is downstairs, so not suitable for somebody who has trouble with stairs. But the three rooms in the main area still have enough beds. This would be an awesome place for a big family. Close to Poás and the peace waterfalls. My teenage children all loved it.

WONDERFUL hidden gem! We loved our stay, Frederica and her husband and so welcoming. The property is centrally located, and once you step inside it’s is truly a private oasis. We stayed in the “Fuego” room and it match the description and pictures very well. Great water pressure in shower! Spent most of our time on our porch and enjoyed the pool for a refreshing cool down. Every morning I walked to the beach for a quick swim, returned for a wonderful yoga session, followed by a beautiful breakfast. Quiet, restful and relaxed stay in Sámara. Thank you! 🙏

We had an unforgettable stay at Victoria’s house at Las Nubes Atenas! If you’re reading this and looking for a relaxing, beautiful vacation - just save yourself some time and book it. Waking up to the mountain views from our room was awesome. The beautiful bed, well-stocked kitchen, and the fresh fruit straight from the farm were great touches. Everything felt so thoughtfully done. Stunning views everywhere you look. We took advantage of the many services Victoria offered: massage by Andrea, dinner by Rosa, sauna by the pool. We definitely recommend planning to stay at the Airbnb to enjoy it for a few evenings. Victoria helped us arrange a rental car and airport taxi. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, thanks to her clear instructions. Victoria and Mark were the most gracious hosts—attentive and warm. We will definitely recommend this gem to our friends and family :)

Fantastic place with kind and helpful staff.

Eight of us stayed at Casa de Luna 3/22/25 for five days. We were ALL happy with the home we stayed in, its surroundings, so quiet. It seems the only sounds heard were from the wildlife. Lots of wildlife that we wouldn’t typically see in our home state of Florida. The house is stunning! I had Literal Tears come to my eyes when I walked in. We suggest hiring Chef Manuel that the mgmt company recommends. Oh my gosh, this young man has the whole world to conquer. He’s starting with Costa Rica. First time any of us hired a personal chef. Do it! You don’t hear airplanes, or cars at this home. We do recommend the affordable private air charter from San Jose to Quepos. Along with asking the mgmt company to set up transportation for you, anywhere. All of us decided we would definitely return to Costa Rica and use OSA prop mgmt. The people are happy, the country is nothing just gorgeous, and we have so much more to see in CR. I’m telling ya, Book this place. We had an amazing time!

This was my second stay in Gustavo's place. Gustavo is an amazing host, and one of the best hosts that I've experienced on Airbnb. He is very responsive, and provides many toiletries that other places did not provide. The apartment is big, clean and has an amazing view. The apartment is in a good location and has many things that are walkable. I would definitely stay in Gustavo's place again.

The apartment has all the amenities for a stay in Tamarindo. It is located next to the Sofia Restaurant, which is a great alternative to go to. The location is undoubtedly very convenient as it is a 100-meter walk from Playa Tamarindo and very close to Playa Langosta. Communication with the owners was very quick and they were always available. Even to provide us with some extra details for the house. Recommended for both a short or longer stay. This property was beautiful and clean, I loved the back porch with the pool and ocean view. The location was easy to get to, and the property was securely gated with plenty of parking space. The inside is gorgeous with a well equipped kitchen, very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a big living room area. A big plus was that we had access to the Crocs hotel next door, with access to all the pools and restaurants. We especially loved seeing the macaws all around the property! Would highly recommend staying here if you are going to vacation in this area.

Great AirBnB room in a hotel complex. Very great and large balcony with great views over the garden and the sea. In the middle of animals and wonderful vegetation. Great hotel trails and very nice pool area. Very good food and friendly staff. Very quick response to questions and very helpful hints. Highly recommended !

Outstanding stay in every possible way. Sue and Joe have created an oasis in the jungle. The lodging itself is beautiful and matched the photos but what sets Southern Drakes Lodge apart is the service. We are a family of 5 and never have we felt so taken care of in all our travels. From the moment we booked to when it was time to depart, Sue and Joe took care of every detail from taxis, laundry, tours (thank you Elsa!), amazing meals (Thai and Ellie prepared breakfast and dinner that were as beautiful as they were delicious). Five days was not enough but we all left with a sense of gratitude that we were able to experience the OSA peninsula and stay in such a special place with amazing hosts.

We stayed the last night before our return to Spain. A total success, everything was perfect. Very close to the airport. Very nice and well-kept common areas. Quiet and cozy. The room is very large and was very clean. We rested perfectly. Great breakfast. Our congratulations to all the staff who work at the accommodation. We would definitely stay here again.

A unique opportunity to stay in a rustic cabin within walking distance of a private beach on the property. Abundant wildlife on the property including monkeys. The bioluminescence tour was the highlight.

We feel so blessed to have experienced Kristopher and Marie’s one-of-a-kind Airbnb accommodation. It is thoughtfully curated for those who are seeking an authentic experience nestled amongst Monteverde’s symbolic cloud forest. From the moment we arrived, they spared no expense in making us feel right at home by explaining all the features and amenities, providing us with a reservoir of information on local activities and for always being accessible. The inclusive daily breakfast was deliciously unforgettable, especially the homemade sourdough avocado toast and açaí bowl. We slept like babies every night and relished the breathtaking views. Marie also offers a morning yoga class which was the perfect way to start off the day. We genuinely enjoyed every second and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to be immersed with nature.

Kyna and Elmer (...and Mogli) are great hosts. They made me feel very comfortable when I was there solo after my wife and daughter went back to the US a few days before I did. And the villas are very quiet and peaceful....very relaxing. Breakfast every morning was healthy and delicious. And whether you are a surfer or just a beach lover, the ocean (Playa Avellana) is truly a very short walk away from the villas. I have been traveling in Costa Rica for many years, and this place stands out as one of the best. I would stay (and probably will) there again for sure!

Ruth and Andrea are absolutely wonderful hosts, very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities. The bed is super comfy, and you get to wake up with a breathtaking view. It’s one of the highlights of our trip! I hope to be back one day!

The stay was fine, clean, a nice terrace, private safe parking, shop opposite the apartment and supermarkets a short distance away. Close to the airport so be mindful of heavy traffic there. Edward was very friendly, helpful, always easily accessible because lives adjacent. The shuttle to the airport is well taken care of and a nice breakfast is no problem. We'd love to come back.

Great place to stay, close to airport. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very friendly host, Edwin even offered to drive me to the airport at 4 am! I was there only for one night. The room is spacious with a large and very comfortable bed / mattress. Big bathroom with everything you need. All was meticulously clean, and welcoming. I used the jacuzzi to relax. I would stay here again!

Great value and the breakfast was very good! The location is very central, would stay here again. Even saw a sloth on the property!

We had an amazing stay at Sueño Del Mar! Sol and Eduardo were absolutely wonderful hosts—welcoming, attentive, and full of great local tips. The property itself is stunning—beautifully maintained and tucked away in a peaceful location just outside the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo, which made for a perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. Lili made delicious breakfasts and lunches, which were fresh and flavorful. I’d also highly recommend renting a golf cart during your stay—it made getting around super easy and not have to deal with getting scammed by taxi drivers. This Airbnb truly felt like a hidden gem. We can’t wait to come back!
