An extremely recommended place to stay for those who love the real Italy. Extremely likeable, helpful hosts, authentic, large house, exemplary cleanliness, central location in the Po level (however: car highly recommended!!!), plenty of space for up to 8 people, family-friendly large, superbly equipped kitchen, pet friendly. Fantastic! Had a great time!

We had a fantastic stay at I Casali. The accommodation was cosy, clean, warm and comfortable. Tiziana and Roberto were excellent hosts. They provided us with great recommendations of places to visit and even baked some delicious cakes and biscuits for us.

Laura is the perfect host. Always ready, and more than willing, to help with everything, even matters outside the scope of the stay itself. The home was nice and tidy upon arrival, and it felt like the place was properly reset from whenever the last guests left. The dog and cats are as cute and friendly as displayed, but be careful of the little striped kitty, he might attempt to wrestle with your foot if you let him. By car the location is great, as it allows you to retract from the wildness of the city once you feel like you have saturated your senses for the day.

Greatly communicated, having nearby landmarks such as Bologna, Ferrara, Modena, Ravenna... Despite being very close to the airport, we were never bothered by the planes. Well air-conditioned, with large rooms and comfortable beds on the top floor. Good table and televisions (one in one of the bedrooms and one larger, in the living room). Everything is very clean, fully stocked kitchen. Own parking space at the door. Good communication and kindness. As a better point, we could talk about the bathtub, classic but a little uncomfortable.

Mr. Danilo and his wife are extremely kind and helpful people, always ready to provide useful information. The house is exactly as described, equipped with everything you need to stay in peace.

The house is very well cared for in detail. Too bad the fresh air, otherwise we would have taken a dip in the pool. Beautiful garden, very well cared for. The kitchen is huge. The owner of the bar in front of the house is also very nice. I wouldn't know what to add. We had a great time and had a great time. Congratulations to Miriam from all of us.

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

Alessandra, who is managing the property, was an amazing host. The property is beautifully located on a hill overlooking a valley. The swimming pool is clean and well-maintained. There is space for a bbq (bring your own bbq coals!). Good location: 45 min to Florence and 60 min to Bologna. Our party consisted of 4 (2 kids under 8, and 2 adults), we enjoyed the big garden, the pool, and the bbq area. Note: the style is quite outdated, the electronic devices and kitchen equipment are also quite outdated. The beds and matrasses are also quite outdated (you can feel the mattress' springs). There is no AC.

We stayed as a family in Andrea's beautiful place to stay - a couple with baby, a couple without a child and a grandparent couple, so 6 adults. We had more than enough space and were received very warmly. Apartment, garden and pool were great and we were able to relax well. We particularly enjoyed the oversized table where we always ate. The view is amazing and everything was absolutely clean and well maintained. We experienced Andrea and Alina as very warm and accommodating. We would come back.

The house is isolated and surrounded by nature, very large, well maintained, and is even better than it looks in photos. Arriving at the last stretch to reach it, the road becomes unpaved and seems to be challenging and long, but already the second time it is even fun and pleasant to peer into the woods from the inside. We had no difficulty even in the 2 days of heavy rain, it is worth it. Michele welcomed us with care and throughout our stay he was always available, also satisfying our request for additional deck chairs. The house is equipped with everything you need, utensils and dishes, Smart TV, BBQ, outdoor spaces, automatic gate. The pool is larger than you can see from the photos, clean, functional and pleasant. We really enjoyed it and so did our big dog in the huge unspoiled outdoor spaces. Absolutely recommended if you are looking for a peaceful solution. We will definitely be happy to come back.

Hosts are super friendly and makes you feel right at home.

Lara is a friendly and helpful hostess. We felt very comfortable with her. The apartment is on the lower floor, but nice and cool. The surrounding area and the space around the house are fantastic. Especially the large pool with the loungers under the trees. The sunsets while dining right by the pool will remain unforgettable to us. Fireflies can also be seen. The place is rather expensive, but superbly located. Also ideally suited for excursions. We will be happy to come back!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. Mr. Aldo welcomed us warmly, making us feel at home. He explained everything clearly, from using the kitchen to opening the balcony door, ensuring a smooth stay. What stood out was his thoughtful hospitality. He provided water, juice, fresh fruits, bread, jam, butter, and both Italian and American-style coffee, which made us feel truly pampered. The accommodation was cozy and inviting, with Asian-style fans, paintings, and antique plates, making it feel like a local’s home rather than a hotel. Despite my sensitivity to noise, it was surprisingly quiet once the windows were closed. Mr. Aldo assured me he would handle any noise issues, which gave me peace of mind. If I visit Bologna again next year, I’d definitely stay here again. The warm hospitality made it feel like I was experiencing the local way of life.
