Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Romain

Cécile is a very friendly and caring person. One problem. The house is superb and the exterior with the pool is beautiful. We have a lovely weekend there. The paella was excellent, thank you so much.

One of the best rental properties we have ever used for all sorts of reasons. Nicola was an excellent host who was always very responsive and helpful. The house is set away from a tiny village in a quiet part of the region but this was perfect for us. Lots of space for our two children to play in. The property has been appointed beautifully. I would not hesitate returning.

We stayed for two weeks it was wonderful a real home from home. Howard and Shirley made us feel so welcome and shared their excellent knowledge of the area. We found everything to hand and thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Definitely recommend family days at the Grand Etang, croissant and baguette from the village boulangarie and evening drinks in the Cafe Brocante in the village. Will definitely pop it on our list to return, many thanks to our lovely hosts

Very nice quiet place and very pretty house, change of scenery guaranteed!In addition, the hosts were really very welcoming and warm, Camille does everything to make you feel at home, and gives good advice on activities and walks to do in the area. Thanks to her I was able to visit the Roman baths of Chassenon, I recommend them! The whole family is very nice, even the cat. And the bonus: Miss Toutou is very very very nice, very cuddly and with my dog they got along really well! I recommend this house and its hosts 100%!

accommodation as we like it! Quiet, warm, spacious... we didn't want to leave... The fireplace is a real plus and the fenced yard for our dogs is great! Catherine is very nice and responsive! We'll be happy to come back!!!

The location and house were as described and beautifully located in a peaceful hamlet. It was exactly what we wanted and it accommodated the various members of family who came and went. Jennifer and Amy were very responsive to our questions and are clearly very attached to the house they have had since the 70s. Overall, we had a lovely stay and were able to explore the area easily.

We loved staying at the Little White House. Before arrival, the communication was prompt and very helpful. The place is immaculate and furnished with great taste. The location is perfect, on the edge of open fields yet a short level walk to a beautiful bastide with a good selection of restaurants ( even in April when we visited). We brought a person with limited mobility and the house was ideally suited for her. Book and you will be glad that you did.

Annie is a very welcoming host. The accommodation offered met our expectations. The large garden was a plus for our family. We only stayed one night but we'll be back with pleasure!

We had a great time at Jérôme's place. The apartment is even better than in the photos. It is full of objects and furniture that were probably collected during the host's previous trips, all of which create a real charm in this vast apartment. It is perfect for 4 people, two large bedrooms (one with a gigantic bed). The neighborhood: Chartrons, very central but also quiet. 3-minute walk to restaurants. In short, a favorite, we'll go back!

Very short stay as part of a training, but still much appreciated. Listing with quality amenities and thoughtfully appointed. What to do is also left available, it's nice, as well as the little touches of the owners. Interesting exchanges with Jean-Paul about village life and nearby birds. A "nature" break from hosts who respect it. Don't hesitate!

The stay in Cedric's apartment was pleasant. The apartment is well located, easy to get around on foot and reach the center. The area is quiet. The apartment is clean, well equipped and matches the photos shown. Two small clarifications: the ceiling is low, it is an attic, be careful if you are very tall. The bathroom is located inside the bedroom, not separated by any door, there is not much privacy. If you are traveling with more than two people, keep in mind that whoever sleeps on the sofa bed, every time they use the bathroom must enter the room. Overall I would say it was a good stay

We spent a 3 day weekend at Marielle's cute, adorable and tastefully furnished apartment. We loved all the attention to the little details that she's put together for her guests. Marielle's responses to questions are immediate and she's very helpful with suggestions on what to do in and around Bordeux. The apartment is a mere 20 minute very pleasant walk through the suburbs to the city centre. There are two very impressive bakeries around the corner, as well as a supermarket. The carpark is a welcome bonus, but is suitable only for a small car by design. We spent half a day in St. Emilion, and another day exploring the wine route. Thanks to Marielle's well equipped home, we were able to rest and relax in total comfort at the end of our busy days. Thank you so much and we wish you many happy years hosting.

A central apartment, close to everything, very nice and attentive to everything

A well-renovated apartment in a classic Bordeaux building. A great size for our stay (two people, four nights). The kitchen was well-equipped (including a dishwasher, which is rare in French Airbnbs) and we were easily able to prepare meals. The location was fantastic: plenty of food shops and cafés within a few hundred metres. Short walks to two excellent food markets. Right in the historic centre of Bordeaux, with all the sights and activities within a few minutes' walk. A private off-street parking spot, which is essential in the city centre. Bordeaux is a very fine city with plenty of things to see and do. Bertrand was very communicative and kind, allowing us to stay a little past checkout because I was ill and not feeling well enough to drive without a bit more rest.

Beautiful home at the foot of Saint Front Cathedral. Quiet, well equipped and clean. The city is a stone's throw away. Eric is very friendly and responsive! Thanks to him!

Our family of five and another family of four spent almost a week at Elaine’s lovely home and didn’t get under each other’s feet the entire trip! Despite the rain which kept us inside a large chunk of our stay, there is more than enough room to spread out and have a bit of privacy when you need it. The home is well-equipped with all manner of kitchen tools and games - everyone especially enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace and the vintage arcade. Lots of blankets and pillows for coziness too. Had the weather permitted, we would have loved to spend more time in the amazing outdoor space. It is expansive and was great for the kids to burn off some steam. Elaine was very helpful and responsive. To note, one of the three bathrooms is not updated like the other two but it’s a very manageable work around for the property as a whole. Overall I would definitely recommend Elaine’s lovely home for your stay in Bordeaux.

Had a fantastic stay at David's, was blessed with sunshine too, so got to enjoy the outdoor space. David was very attentive, the cot bed for my youngest was set up ready to use. The open plan area for cooking, eating and relaxing was great for keeping an eye on our boys. The security of the driveway gate meant our boys could play outside safely. It's a wonderful place to stay.

A modern villa for your family to stay and have a relaxing time off.

Excellent stay in a beautiful and large house. Beautiful rooms , beautiful kitchen where everything is available, large dining room. Only the weather wasn't great. Jean-Baptiste offered us a bottle upon arrival. Bordeaux wine very much appreciated by connoisseurs. I would 100% recommend! Thank you Jean-Baptiste

Very nice accommodation and very well equipped. Beautiful environment and very quiet. We did not have time during the weekend to use the Spa and the pool was not yet operational.

We had a wonderful week in Stéphanie and Cyril's lovely property. We were very well hosted by Lisa, a beautiful welcome basket was offered to us (honey, homemade jam...) and we are lucky to meet Stéphanie and Cyril on the day of our departure, who are beautiful people. And let's not forget Brioche, which is very cuddly. The house is suitable for hosting a family with children. We were 4 adults, and 3 children including a 3-month-old baby. Everyone had their own sleeping area, with bathrooms, very beautiful living room, tastefully decorated, beautiful space outside for meals, well-equipped kitchen. The pool area invites you to relax with the pretty bar. The area is beautiful. All the ingredients were there for us to have a lovely family vacation. We recommend this rental 200%.

WOW!! Just returned from a week at James & Eileen’s villa in Bourg to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary . There were 14 of us- 9 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 children. All info provided prior to arrival by the hosts and the house mgt team (James, Lisa and Joe) was 5*! The check in/out & on hand support during our stay was absolutely flawless . This villa is stunning - more impressive than the photos! Bourg is a beautiful rural village and the villa was extremely spacious - perfect for family gatherings, beautifully decorated and felt sumptuous. Ambiance laid on for ourarrival& amenities for guests are unlike other private villas on offer for a party of our size .Felt immediately like a home from home.Pool was immaculate, all bedrooms beautifully furnished and living/lounge/cooking areas were of such a high standard. Villa in a superb location for exploring the vineyards. Recommend renting bikes to explore, enjoy BBQs at the villa, markets&citadel in Blaye. BOOK

A lovely place in a very peaceful location very close to all Les Eyzies, Sarlat, and the major Dordogne sites. Lots of space, big kitchen and living room. Huge garden with lovely pool area and terrace - luckily despite being early April we were blessed with great weather to use the pool. All in all, highly recommended!
