NoëlieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great weekend with friends! The house is magnificent, the setting is relaxing. The house matches the description, perfect for a large group (note that you have to rent the farmhouse to have access to the pool table) The contact person is easily reachable, very pleasant and accommodating. We will come back without hesitation!

Chateau de Barrail was an amazing find, we had a fantastic weekend, plenty of space for everyone, rooms were huge and all very comfortable. We’d definitely return. Michel who greeted us was very helpful and on hand for anything we needed. Highly recommend

Quiet house in Pessac-sur-Dordogne

AlbéricRating, 5 stars6 days ago
A great stay even though we didn't enjoy the place much. Very well-equipped, very high-quality with many kitchen items. For children, it is very suitable with a number of games present inside or outside. Everything was perfect: Stephanie was able to welcome us with a lot of attention. We can't give anything other than 10/10 as a rating on the whole.

A doorway is framed by textured stone walls, leading into a well-lit room. A smooth stone pathway provides access, while a welcome mat in front of the door offers a practical touch. The view into the interior suggests a connection to the outdoors.

Country house

We had a pleasant stay at Henri's. The cottage was clean and welcoming. Beautiful, quiet and green environment (very nice for Parisians like us…). Communication with Henri was very nice. Recommended and will definitely be back.

Castle Guest House for 10 people

JennyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We were a family group of 7 adults and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The house was just as described in beautiful Dordogne region and was extremely well equipped, particularly in the kitchen/dining room. The pool area was lovely with plenty of chairs/loungers. We visited several local towns, markets and wineries with excellent recommendations from Pierre. He and his family were welcoming & friendly, even inviting us for a drink with them one evening. We hope to return - still so much to see!
A dining area is set outdoors under a spacious umbrella, featuring a table with plates and empty cups. White plastic chairs surround the table, positioned on a gravel surface. Lush greenery and trees provide a natural backdrop, while the tranquil Dordogne river is visible in the distance.

The Old Goat House at Maison Guillaume Blanc

RichRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had an absolutely brilliant stay with Tim and Sarah (and their lovely cats and dog!). The Old Goat House is truly something special – even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. It’s been restored with such care and character, and every detail made our stay feel relaxing and memorable. Tim and Sarah were wonderful hosts – welcoming, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with throughout. We left feeling completely refreshed and already look forward to returning one day. Highly recommend!

Luxurious country house (pool, sauna, spa)

BethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My family & I have just spent a perfect week at La Closerie and we all wholeheartedly echo all that was written in the very first review (March 25). There is, quite simply, nothing negative to say. Marilyne & Jeremy were the perfect hosts who could not have made us feel more welcome. Marilyne told us that their dream was to create a space where several generations of the same family could gather and create beautiful memories and, my goodness, they have achieved their dream! We truly could not have enjoyed our stay more. Blessed with beautiful weather, we spent the majority of the week enjoying time in the garden, be it by the pool, long lunches and evening meals around the table, or just marvelling at the rolling hills that surround the property. Marilyne and Jeremy write about La Closerie being a haven of peace; a refuge where one will find rest and relaxation and this is absolutely the case. Each member of my family sincerely hopes to return one day… A very special stay indeed…
