Very nice little house, well-equipped, very clean, close to essential shops, in a charming village. Absolute calm. Giuseppe is a very welcoming, responsive and accommodating host. Recommended without hesitation.

Have a great weekend in the countryside with the family. Excellent welcome from Peter flexible on the schedules that allowed us not to leave as we wanted in the early afternoon. A cake was waiting for us when we arrived. The wood burning stove was nice given the bad weather. Great time to play in the barn: billiards, darts... Very good bedding. Just be careful with the stairs whose steps are not wide but once you don't have a problem. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

Very welcoming cottage, giving the impression of being isolated from the rest of the world, in the middle of a forest and overlooking a large lake, inviting hikes. Don't expect a flawless home like in the magazines, it's just a simple place with a soul, like an invitation to a friend's house. Moreover, Roselyne was kind enough to prepare the wood stove for us before our late arrival. She is a host who is very accessible, accommodating and who does everything to make us feel good. The bed is comfortable. Very well located for hiking (barely 15 minutes to the start of the Lake St-Pardoux hike) We will be back!

We had a great time at Kim and Christian's. A quiet and relaxing stay in this accommodation surrounded by nature. The nearby sheep delighted young and old! We fell in love with this cute little house, equipped with every comfort. The environment is very quiet and the host is very responsive. Shops a few km away, including the Bel Air brewery that I recommend 😀 All in all it was a great stay in a great place, I highly recommend it.

We chose Janine and Mario’s cottage for our 4 week stay as we didn’t know the area and thought we’d like to try Limousin. We chose Janailhac only because it has a depot de pain and a small bar restaurant (both very welcoming)! In reality it far exceeded our hopes. Janine and Mario are great, friendly, kind and supportive hosts who are determined to give their visitors the best possible stay. They provided lots of helpful information about the many interesting and historic villages and restaurants and markets largely within a 25 mile radius so plenty of places to visit. Janailhac is a tiny, pretty, friendly farming village of beautiful rolling fields (and a SuperU at 4 miles). Quiet nights and clean air meant we slept better than in years. The cottage is large and comfortable with a pellet boiler heating system so we were never chilly plus a large open fire place and 2 great hot showers. Well stocked for children with toys, high chair, cot and even a buggy. Highly recommended!

Great house for 2 families, perfect for what we wanted. Lots of seating areas, kitchen was really well equipped. Pool and hot tub awesome. Nearby lake is good for beach and water sports. Hosts were great and gave good recommendation for a food festival in a nearby town. The house is in a very peaceful location, surrounded by countryside, which was great most of the time but if you want restaurants or activities it’s a drive. I would recommend the house though as it’s really well set up for a week with friends or family.

This was the second time we stayed in this beautiful cabin. Guy and Christina are very kind people. My husband enjoyed fishing in the lake immensely and Guy was super nice to give him some tips and help when needed. Loved this place!

After a warm welcome from our host's little children and dog, then from our host, we discovered this little waterfront paradise. A place that has a charm that made us regret only spending one night there. The quiet and bucolic environment and the many animals for nature lovers is a real plus. Dominique is a caring and welcoming host who knows how to make you feel at home. The accommodation is cozy, super clean and very well-equipped. We will be back!

Thank you for a very relaxing stay. We found the gîte to be exactly as described, with all the amenities needed. The area is very pretty and we enjoyed exploring for the few days we were here. Peaceful and pretty area.

Paula’s place was just what we needed. It was private and peaceful, clean and warm enough. Close to couple of restaurants and a town with all amenities. Paula was friendly and very responsive. We had everything we needed to make dinner apart from salt. Would definitely say it was great value for money.

We booked the cottage for a weekend for our loved ones who really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting. They will happily come back and found a beautiful and quiet place for nature lovers. The accommodation matches the description and photos. In addition, Marie-Christine is a very welcoming host. I would absolutely recommend this cottage.

Charming little home in a green setting. Anne and Xavier are attentive, available and friendly. We had a nice stay at their home, and were able to really enjoy nature and this beautiful area. We recommend it for a quiet stay. Some more supplies in the accommodation would be welcome (toilet paper, sugar, dishwashing liquid...) but otherwise great!
